When dyeing my hair a dark color, I sometimes do it alone at home. Doing it a few times, it feels like I've become used to it?
But, occasionally, if you're unlucky, a band can be created ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ It's okay! I can do it againㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋThe method is simple.
They said color treatments can also definitely cause damage. Not as much as dyeing it!! But, make sure you're aware there is some damage!ㅎㅎ

Solar explained the reason why she hadn't been dying her hair is that she is suffering from hair inflammation and she has been receiving hair treatment. Therefore, people... STOP TELLING HER TO DO THIS AND DO THAT. You never know what she is dealing with.
nat Actually it’s more of a scalp inflammation. When I’ve had my hair color treated, the stylist always took care not to get the dyes to touch the scalp as much as possible to prevent scalp irritation (at least). Also it’s probably all the bleaching that did the most harm because that stuff is too intense and toxic. Hope hers heals soon!

@@limie6586 Jisoo and Jennie both, even rosé(although I can understand rosé because she was blonde for almost two years straight and I love the silver on her but going an even lighter color can't be good for her scalp). I feel like Jennie only did the e-girl hair because fans harassed her so much even though she said her hair was sensitive. I don't think jisoo likes coloring her hair much either since she doesn't keep the color long

CAN WE appreciate how Solar is so open about regularly using box hair dyes on her own instead of going to expensive celebrity saloons.
Like its so refreshing to see that Solar, one of the biggest idols in Kpop freely admitting how bad her hair gets from extensive treatments & not going to salon because it's too expensive.
We always only see mediocre beauty youtubers saying bad things abt box dyes & making young girls feel bad for not able to afford salon treatments. Hell, I even know grown ass women that are pressured to go to expensive salons even when they can't afford it.
So happy that Solar is so down-to-earth & open about this side of her, showing that the illusion of the "perfect" idol is not real, and that idols go through the same struggles of everyday people too ❤️❤️❤️
You can still get dyes other than box dyes sometimes for an even cheaper price and do it at home tho. It's just that box dyes are formulated in a way to be a little intense to work for everyone, so they're more damaging and make future attempts of dying the hair harder.
Like @Little Vanity said, you can get all the salon-grade stuff, and it's much more cost-effective and doesn't damage your hair as badly. If you only wanted to dye your hair a darker color like Solar is doing, it would cost you 4 dollars for a tube of color and like 6 for a 32 oz bottle of developer. Box dyes typically use 40 vol, when all you really need is 20 or 30 for any sort of lift, even on really dark hair and only 10 if you're already blond and just want to add color.
Reason why someone prevents you from box dye was probably bcs they experienced the hassle to fix it.
Many come to the salon with destroy hair from their own worked from box dye.
Hair stylist got more experienced and have the knowledge so if u want an extremely makeover for the hair please do go to the salon and do search on the stylist.
The worse thing could happen than having wrong color is probably the frying of your own hair
Lol why y'all replying with a ted talk about box dyes when I'm just talking about Solar using box dyes despite the stigma of it. I've used box dyes for about 7 years now and in all honesty my hair is better than most of my friends that do it in salons for 5x the price yet its the same ppl with dried up frizzy ass hair that will lecture me whenever the topic is brought up 🤷♀️

OMG IM SO GLAD SHE MADE THIS VIDEO! I saw a video of her in a show and Jessi was in it too, the guys were making fun of her hair because of her roots. THIS IS EXACTLY WHY PEOPLE SHOULD BE CAREFUL OF WHAT THEY SAY because those guys had no idea she was having this condition... it was so rude of them to say that and since it was a show Solar couldn’t explain why she hadn’t dyed her hair and just laughed along.
