I also have this mop for the last four or five years. Sadly, I left liquid in the canister ( I found it really hard to remove) and now it doesn't work. So I just use the mop with a large spray bottle with a mixture of white vinegar and water. I have the spray in my left hand and mop in the right and just spray and mop. Works like a charm!!!! Now, to save a bunch of $$$$ on the microfiber pads. I got a "drying mat" from Dollar Tree. It's a microfiber pad with cloth on one side and kind of a netting on what I believe is the bottom side. I was able to cut it in thirds and figured I'd need to attach velcro to the bottom, netting side. Just to see if it fit, I put the cloth side on the mop's velcro tabs with the mat's netting on the OUTSIDE and that was all it took! It is working really, really well and the netting side scrubs without scratching. The DIY pads are just a little bit larger than the official ones and I will most likely purchase another drying mat to make some more.
Seems easy to use compared to traditional mop and bucket. But I would sweep or vacuum the floors first before mopping. If I don't vacuum, then I would end up pushing the dirt around the with the mop.
Love this product but, where the bottle fits into the handle, the plastic piece that holds it in breaks. It usually breaks about the 2nd or third time I change out the bottle. I'm on my second one and I'm going to have to replace it. Sad, could be a better product.
mop works well on my wood floors but the liquid is sloshing out of the bottom where the bottle is. Its a total mess. The sprayer works but I'm going to have to return it if I can't figure out how to keep the cleaning solution from rapidly coming out on all sides. Please someone help!
do any of you hand wash the mop head? I live in apartments and have to pay for the washers here and I don’t want to waste on just one load since I can’t use fabric softener on t lol.
Just hand wash and hang to dry ...we used to live in apartment we had a metal clothes hangers we used it now and then, sometime to save on cash, I wash a load then bring it up to the take it balcony hang them on clothes rack.

On my 2nd one, using vinegar & water, according to O Cedar tech folks but still doesn't last long, the sprayer ends up not working.
