Unless it says hand it to the customer I leave it take my picture and keep it moving. It their us a doorbell I ring it if not I knock “sometimes”. They get notifications when your on your way with the groceries. If someone steals their stuff after you dropped them off that’s the customers issue not yours. That’s what the picture is for. To show you delivered it
Next time leave them anyway. I never call or get visual contact. I ring the door and knock and keep moving. The customers never care and my tips are never taken. They know what time you're coming because they picked the time. The only time I call the customer is when I can't find their address and that's almost never. I also pull in driveways. My tips are always good. You can also go inside Wal-Mart and stock up on bags for when something is not bagged. Good content. 👍🏽.

The only thing about not leaving groceries unattended is that I am just concerned about getting deactivated if someone steals the groceries 😅sometimes I deliver to sketchy buildings with lots of units. In this video the order that I returned was the first door as soon as I entered the building at the bottom of a 3 floor apartment building with no security or anything. I always pull into customer's driveways and I've never had them complain! Do you ask for the walmart grocery bags with handles when you go inside to get bags or do you just get the paper bags that walmart has for normal customer (i'm assuming your walmart has paper bags-we don't use plastic anymore unfortunately)- if you have no idea what i'm talking about i'll link to a picture of the bags 😂
You don't necessarily need to get visual contact unless u think it's might get stolen or it's a sketchy area. It says here in (Resources) that unless they want a signature or they'd left a note abt it you can just knock or ring doorbell to let them know they're orders have arrived.
OMG!! I had this exact scenario yesterday. I delivered and could not get a response. I finally grabbed the groceries and put back in my car. I was just about to drive off and customer came out and was like ma'am ma'am! I said :oh I'm sorry been calling and texting you / knocking on door. I said I am required to get visual contact . He said that everyone else just leaves the groceries. He was mad at me!!! I called customer service and explained what happened. I had already accepted another order prior to getting visual response. Customer service told me it is no contact order (they all are, lol) and I dont have to wait for visual contact. I was chastised for looking for visual contact....WTH!
They are normally really quick to do and you get paid more to do them. Look at the tiny map they give you consider the number of miles for the store they are drawing you too and read the total number of miles for the order deliveries, plus the drop off times. Work out if you are willing to do that. I did a 12 order one, it took me about 1.5 hrs I got 52 dollars, plus about 5 tips, and it was only about 9 miles. It was great fun. I took another that was cancelled and I had to return it. I got the full pay 18 dollars plus a 2.50 return fee and 5 dollar tip from the customer which came to nearly 26 dollars. For a 10mile round trip. I was very happy. Sometimes things don't work and others I get some really great surprises.
When you return the groceries back to walmart do you just bring them to customer service? I had to do that once but the customer service associate had no clue what I was talking about. Did you then call spark support to get your pay??

shop and deliver is a joke, cause of it i don t make money .i decline 4 to 5 a day and spark are playing games just like the others . you are in contact with hundreds of people in the store and when you deliver its says no contact .customer comes first i guess . good luck
