I can't believe this is old... I remember hearing this every night. Who would've thought I'd be nostalgic about a song about nostalgia. Edit: Officially been 10 years and 5 years since I made this comment.
You guys said it!! My siblings introduced me to this when it began. Only a hand full of shows were still shows when I was born and I only knew like the Rugrats and Ren and Stimpy. I agree with you, I can’t believe I am having memories about 90s are all that when I wasn’t even around when these shows were in their prime aside from like 2 lolol
Damn this promo is almost 10 years old. Nostalgia on nostalgia. I remember watching H20 and degrassi, icarly, victorious etc. They’d always show this promo during commercial breaks.
I actually have nostalgia for this block. Didn’t grow up in the 90s but I was so excited when they made this block so I can watch these older shows. I remember my dad recording Doug the previous night so I could wake up the next morning and watch it. Good memories
Same. I was so interested in these old shows; because of this block, I finally had (mostly) easy access to watching these great shows. Without this, I would have to scour the internet for this stuff as I did another show on a different network which was much older but still stands. (which meant I'd probably get tons of viruses on my parents computers again. No way I was making that mistake again LMBO XD)
I was born in 1999, I don’t remember the 90’s, but it’s awesome to watch the shows that came out when I was born and people comment who the 90’s makes them nostalgic.
I was born in 1999 and grew up with Rugrats, Wild Thornberry's and the 2000s shows. I discovered Kenan & Kel and The Amanda Show in 2007 on The N, discovered Legends of the Hidden Temple, GUTS and the Double Dare 2000 version of Double Dare on Nick GAS in 2007 and I discovered Good Burger in 2008 on Nick@Nite. But then I watched The '90s Are All That starting the night it premiered and enjoyed all these shows
Same. Also was born in latw 90s.. '96 to be exact and us 2000s kids still had the pleasure of growing up watching 90s reruns. Todays 2000s *babies* don't even know what real tv is anymore.
Every decade has something they're known for. For me, the 90s were the peak of entertainment. Games, movies, tv... man, everyone was brimming with great ideas. It's like they knew the frontier and became masters of it by then. How on earth did they let it slip so far? By 2004, the hangover of the 90s was gone, and almost every great show was killed off. It was a stagnant era of death for tv. There are so few shows that are worth watching today. Kinda makes me miss the days when i could just turn on the tv, and there'd always be something interesting. Ah well. The golden age may be over, but at least we still got some good things to watch, fond memories, and smorgasbord of commercial collections that nostalgic people saved.
Imagine if you were on one of those live action tv shows on nickelodeon when you were young and then years later they show re runs of it and you go "Hey that was me in the 90's!"
Man this block was so heavily under appreciated, im not sure Nick will ever air something like this again. As a 23 year old I wouldn’t be as familiar with a lot of their 90s shows if it weren’t for this
Folks, I regret to inform you that NickRewind/The 90's Are All That block died and discontinued on 1/31/22... Press "F" to give final respects to the neglected classic block...😔
Anybody watching this in 2020? I remember being happy when I saw this on TV during commercials because I grew up watching some 90s Nickelodeon shows despite being born in 1997. I can’t believe its been almost a decade since they did reruns of these shows.
I remember begging for them to show 90s Nickelodeon reruns in 2009 and then in 2011 I’m watchin tv in the living room and I see this commercial. I cried real tears of joy.
8 years later and I still watch this I miss when Nick Rewind use to be the 90s are all that back in 2011 I was a freshmen in high school I miss those days!!
Nick Sullivan Can't Nickelodeon just give us "The Splat" as a separate channel instead of waiting until 10pm every night and having people fall asleep a half hour in? The people at Nickelodeon please listen to us 90s Nick fans and give "the splat" it's own channel!
These shows were at their prime in the 1980s and 90s. By the early/mid 2000s, they were slowly departing from Nickelodeon, but they were mostly still around for younger generations to enjoy on channels like Nicktoons Network, Noggin, Teennick, etc. Finally, in 2011, when most of these of this shows were on the brink of fading away for good, this amazing block came into light. Now, in favor of this annoying new money-zapping streaming direction, all of these shows are moving over to paramount+ and probably won't air on TV ever again. RIP... 2011-2022
I remember when I actually stayed up just to watch as many old shows as I could before I got tired and went straight to sleep instead. I especially loved when this was originally “The 90s Are All That”, and for most of that era when this started back in 2011, All That was the first and main show on the list. However, it makes sense that they eventually took it out of the schedule to make way for all these other hits of Nickelodeon’s golden days on the air.
I may not have been born in the 90's but I love all of these old shows, today's t.v shows are shitty and stupid ( except for icarly, good luck Charlie, and Jessie ) I need to watch these old shows again
it's already been 7 years since the nickelodeon hall of fame shows came back on tv. right now, the new 90s nickelodeon series is now known as THE SPLAT.
Brings back memories from watching these shows as a kid, even though I was born in 2003 I still watched these shows and grew up with them because of my brother!
The Secret World of Alex Mack and KaBlam! (which is an obscure Nicktoon) are one of the shows aren't regularly seen on the block (now NickRewind), same goes with Shelby Woo, Journey of Allen Strange and several others.
I remember the day it was lunch ever since when I was a kid I actually didn't know what a classic Nicktoons was about until this pop in during the commercial and then to celebrate they decide at least this music video and I'm actually surprised I actually remember this good staring I watch the classic shows every night before I go to bed
I was born in 2001 I love these shows beacuse they are full of humor, funny and make sense. today shows from Nickelodeon and disney channel are very crappy that I don't even watch at all. Instead I watch the old shows around 2 in the morning.
I won't consider myself a true 90's kid (but I WAS born in the 90's, Im happy for that). The '90s Are All That premiered in 2011. Sadly, that was also the year we would say goodbye to ABC Kids, originally known as Disney's One Saturday Morning.

I feel the same. I watched this block through dvr when it was around and now I'm like:"7 years already? I feel old"

Exactly Omg
i was just thinking this wtf
That’s exactly how I feel it’s insane
Damn this promo is almost 10 years old. Nostalgia on nostalgia. I remember watching H20 and degrassi, icarly, victorious etc. They’d always show this promo during commercial breaks.
what's up with the rugrats theme!?
Can't believe that this theme is now five years old. Now I'm feeling nostalgic about this.
- Finally I found someone near my age i would see teenick and every time they played this it would always get in my head and I was in 2nd grade!!
Erik Nelson I remember watching this a lot towards the end of summer when I was 15.
RIP NickRewind, I will miss this block that holds a special place in my heart 🧡💚

2011!? damn .. i thought this started in 2014 or smth. ugh. time passes so fast ...

Nick should just make a channel that only plays old shows.
Nick:Nastolgia
Anna Zverina just bring back GaS
