Not overly powerfull but cheap, consistent, and can definitly take some abuse. I do flooring so like the only time i really need a drill for drill things is like taking apart desks in schools and hospitals so like its perfect i also mix all my floor patch with it in i bag (10lb) batches. Ive mixed the odd batch of mortar and quickcrete with it but thats in a pinch and the drill she dont like that to much if im mixing lots i have a makita mixer for that. Good drill. Im pretty sure mine has floor patch all over the internals because theres patch caked all around every crevice of that drill including the vents. Been going strong 3 years.
I just purchased this set a couple weeks ago from The Depot. It came with 2-2.0 batteries, charger, 2 bits, and a nice silver hard case for $123. So far I really like them. The price has gone up to $159 now. I did a lot of research before my purchase and chose this set. Your video just assured me I was right to go with Makita. Your vids are awesome by the way. THANKS!!!

I'd bought this kit, exchanged it for another, then returned it. The impact was nice, but the drill's runout was uncomfortably high. FWIW, I run Makita's 18V platform and recommend it highly.
Got that set had it for 4 months now they work great ,get the 4.0 battery for the impact driver ,and it's way better. I have the 3/8 impact wrench also . They all work good for 12v tools .👍
I'm all in on the 18V Makita, their 12V impact is the best one out there, but I went with the M12 line because it has so many more tools Makita doesn't offer with the 12V batts.

I had no idea how to use the impact vs regular drill. I'm now watching this video to figure it out.
