Our Room: Shabby Chic inspired, my decor isn't actually finished yet but I 'm happy to share it's current status. Since part of my fun is treasure hunting at thrift stores I'm not in a hurry to complete the decorating, rather I enjoy adding to it one unique piece at a time.
Makeup Collection: This is the result of clearing out all makeup that I wasn't using or products that just didn't work for me. My makeup collection is now closer to where I want it, not overflowing with products but rather clean, crisp and filled only with items I enjoy using often.

Hi Christine. Your room looks so calm and peaceful. It's very lovely. I'm really glad your collection is now just down to the things you truly love. I think that makes a big difference not just for the space visually, but also for the soul/happiness. Plus, you have made room for more things that you truly love.
This is really nice how you got everything setup. I decided to purchase me items to organize my makeup and even gonna make my own diy vanity.

Believe me, I hear you! Although I've been passionate about makeup most of my life, I wasn't able to purchase much of anything or start a collection until after I was 25. So what you see in this video is 6 years of carefully collected and well loved makeup and beauty products, fully appreciated and never taken for granted. :)
This just inspired me to make my makeup and fragrances as organized as you had it. Thanks for the motivation.

I Love love love your taste in decor. I live in a mobile home so shabby chic works for me. I just get lost and can't make decisions.

Awesome collection , love the way you used the glass blocks on your vanity! I would love to do the shabby chic thing, but my dogs are always on the bed, and they ruin the sheets and comforters!

Aww, Thanks Chloe! I'm getting ready to do an updated makeup collection soon. Always striving to make it as clean and clutter-free as possible, lol. Oh Zoya is awesome! Definitely my favorite nail polish brand, excellent formula and huge selection!
lol if you walked through the rest of the house you'd be like where's Christine's stuff? We both decided on where we wanted to each organize our stuff when we moved in, he wanted the office, living room and he has his own closet in another room, so I got to use the bedroom for my stuff, we always make it work for both of us.
Yep I bought everything you see in this video myself. I'm lucky to have a good full time job that's able to support my family, pets, passions and hobbies. :)

It's interesting that you categorize by Brand instead of by purpose (eyeshadows all together, face products all together etc) I've never seen a collection presented like this, it looks nice :) Great video, thanks for sharing! xx
You should do Asmr videos Christine! I watch all of your make up organizing bc the sounds of the acrylic storage and the makeup puts me right to sleep! I know you’re into plants these days but maybe???

@pinkcandystripes I have Living Doll, Bombshell, Pin Up, Honeymoon. I LOVE them ALL! My most worn is probably Pin Up or Honeymoon which I use as a highlight.

I agree with individual pots for Mac shadows! Just grab any u want to take with you and pop em in a bag to go! :) nice organization... I'm inspired to set my own vanity up.... I'm way wayyyyy unorganized with all my makeup stacked under a sink and in bags lol
No that's a good thing! Don't feel like you need a big collection. I've been collecting for several years and while I love discovering and trying new products, I've come to learn keeping it simple is best. Only buy what you really love! I've actually been downsizing since I posted this video. I have an updated makeup collection video on my channel page. :)

I agree, it's just a step up from drugstore brands really. $14.50 for a lipstick isn't much more than $7-8 for Revlon and for the quality it's definitely a bargain compared to high end brands at $24-34. But I suppose prices and perceived value are all relative to what the individual is use to purchasing.
I was just showing J your videos of shabby chic. We have absolutely gorgeous bedroom furniture in a deep dark walnuty color. I really hate to paint it white and shabby chic it up howeverrrrrr it is absolutely the most calming serene look in the WORLD to me. So tempting. I think if he says I "can" I will make it happen! It's the right design--it's just too dark for me! It's nice to see how you've updated along the way. It's really calming and relaxing Christine! XOXO!

I love your bedroom decor, it just looks so cool and relaxing! The lamps turned out amazing, the shades were perfect! Your makeup looks great, all that hard work paid off. I've never seen such an organized setup. I wish I could get mine fixed up so well. Gives me inspiration to know that I could do it. Mine is mostly all drug store products but I love them. LOVE all that perfume!! It is my weakness! Love to try different ones! Nail polish drawer turned out wonderful. Thanks for sharing!

@MakeupDoll17 I have a Duvet cover over my comforter, purchased both at Macy's. The ruffle throw pillows are from Costco :)

@imsassi Thank you so much!! Yes! Glittering gold nails is my go-to look for this Winter. I love seeing those glitzy sparks of warmth at my fingertips, it just makes you feel good... especially during the holidays.

nyx is a drugstore brand, you can buy it at ulta, and even though its not in drugstores , its still considered a drugstore brand because its not sold at places like sephora and other high end makeup stores :)

NYX is sold at Ulta and online, I've also seen it at Albertsons sometimes if you have one near you :) and NYC is sold at Target and Wal Mart! (:
