Such a clever set up. I love going to the habitat for humanity here and finding all those kind of treasures. I enjoy redoing furniture when I'm in the mood to do so. I'm glad I saw your set up as I'm getting ready to fix up my makeup area and it gave me some good ideas.

When you pulled that NARS/high-end drawer out I couldn't believe how CLEAN you managed to keep them!! Their packaging is so hard to keep clean due to the texture of the cases so Kudos!

I love the organization in the drawers especially. We don't hhave a kmart. But a Ross. I love Ross and TJ Max. Two Walmarts. Wish we had a Target. Miss out a lot. Just putting a room well part of it is for my makeup and vanity we have put together. We just moved. Found a great desk glass top and big in the trash at my sons apt he manages. I love those deals. Right now us wing little jars and baskets. But think it will be great when we get it all together. Wish I had a mirror big one with lights. Have a table top one. Thanks for sharing. I'm so having my son build me a Hollywood like mirror with bulbs around the mirror. They have a few videos with different ways girls have done it. I just want mine to be able to move with me since I'm in a rent house. And my son just built his own entertainment system and has the tools to build me a nice one. And my bday is end if the month. Lol that will help me get him to so it. Mommas needs. Lol

No worries love! I can't speak for other people's obsession with MAC but for myself, years ago when I really got into makeup MAC was one of the few makeup counters we had here in my town and they offered a wide selection. I enjoyed being able to test all the products whereas the drugstore was hit & miss. These days the drugstores brands have improved and we have a Sephora now, which I love! But MAC still makes my favorite lipsticks and sometimes they release a cool collection. :)
I'm actually really glad that I stumbled across your channel. I've only subscribed for a couple days but I love the content you put up. Especially this one because I too was bitten by the makeup bug and recently been struggling with getting back on my feet financially. Thanks! I use two sets of Sterilite drawers, both have 3 drawers each. They stack together nicely. The low profile trays are from Kmart, near their kitchen section I believe. They offer different sizes, which is great! I'm such a sucker for nudes, so my favorite Buxom gloss would be either "Sandy" or their new Lip Creme in "White Russian" :)
Thanks! Yep the quads have a little lip... or dip, lol whatever... so you can press down and pop out the e/s pan. At one point I had a little collection of paint pots going but between the drying out factor along with me just not using/loving them enough. I quit buying them, so I actually don't buy any cream eyeshadow bases anymore. If I did ever purchase another it would have to be something really special. :)
You've changed your setup quite a bit since your last video. Its possibly the best collection Ive seen due to the fact that its SO clean and organised and not full of clutter and unused items. Personaly Id be a bit concerned to display my items as you have on the tall glass shelves as Im quite clumsy lol, Thank you so much for showing us your collection xx
You're not alone, I never got to have much makeup either until I was over 25. I had my Physicians Formula Shimmer Strip (for my eyeshadow) one brown eyeliner, and my L'Oreal Voluminous mascara. That's all I used for years. :)
Your vanity area is so cute and so tidy and clean i love it, i like the sample box idea, mine are all over the place i think i'm going to have a clear out and get them together, there is nothing worse than knowing you have something and not being able to find it. btw i love love love your nails

I organized her dresser using your idea of foam board dividers but used pink instead and she loves it and wants to actually put away her clothes...thanks for that

Very true. A few examples being mascara and eye liner. You're supposed to get new ones after 3 months of use. Any longer you are more prone to eye infections..
