I've been binge watching Slice lately- just to escape from the United States war machine where I live. It's vital to my well being to be reminded of such lovely people and beautiful cultures. And now to dive back in!!!❤
OMG! HER HAIR IS UP LIKE NAVAJO WOMEN! 12:30 I Grew up in Albuquerque, NM where the Navajo brought rugs and silver jewelry to sell. The women wore layers of silver bracelets and necklaces to do shopping. They have sheep brought over by spanish in1500s. So similar.
How magic, I’ve watched when they proclaim n portray the nomad life as one of great hardship n that we were witnessing the last of their kind. I found this to be ever so tragic. Norlha U are a blessing n I appreciate how we now see the beauty of the people made apparent by their healthy smiling countenance n hardship no longer being the only expression. A heartening reality😊 thanks for sharing n Blessings
Who takes care of the Yaks and Sheep when everyone is working? Also will you be expanding to sheeps wool also at some point? You have done an amazing, wonderful thing for your people, so wonderful. Now next generations have a hope to make livings and be able to stay where they are without moving to the big cities away from family.
Im homeschooling my granddaughter and I have started incorporating film like these to her History and Geography classes and to also cook food from that place Can you tell us and food dishes from here please? Thank you and Blessings to all. ❤
I love their product. Ever since my 40 I bought a red scarf for myself. I bought a vest last time back in China. Superb quality and support the craftsman. Happy shopping.
I think they don’t have hard life for not getting free time. They are independent. They don’t need to work for others like in USA. Tibetans work hard on their own. So, the lady who said they have hard life isn’t right!
Cheers to Dachen. However, I would rather be a traditional nomad. That is true freedom, "difficult" as it may be. I wouldn't think that doing everything for yourself and your family and animals and land is any harsher than working for slave wages or constantly worrying about business schemes and modern life. I raise Tibetan yaks and mastiffs and cashmere goats. I prefer the harshness of that than being forced to work in corporate America.
Thanks but having the "freedom" to work from 3 a.m. until collapsing into bed at night, day after day, and having to obey the orders and whims of the fathers, husbands, elder men (and elder women) without ever having the time or opportunity to be yourself - well, yes, that would be difficult, and a little too difficult for most modern women raised with exposure to more modern mores.
These documentaries are so funny. Like they are trying to justify these ‘go to work’ practices. The people don’t seem as happy as when they are working at home.
Can you point us to something to show us "when they are working at home" please? Maybe you missed the first part which described the traditional life of a woman in that culture, or the part about being used to taking orders, orders from the father, husband, seniors and the cultural traditions which required that? What is so "happy" about getting up at 3 to milk, then making butter and cheeses by hand, taking care of the children and the household and never having the chance to do anything else? I'll wait.........
May the Dreams and Aspiration of Tibetans come True ✨️

Wonderful! I wonder how it compares with goat cashmere?
Do you have an online shop where we can shop?
I know we can open a market in Louisiana for their goods, looks like some of the finest cashmir sold in paris or london... from the video of course...
This is a definition of full life
