People say they don't mess with the night stages in Unleashed in terms of GAMEPLAY, but I promise yall those nighttime tracks are amazing 😭 alright yall chill I made a second comment but ig I should have just edited this one lol - I like the night stages, they were just too long. I genuinely think that if the battle theme didn't interrupt the stage music so often or the levels wouldn't gate your progress so often I wouldn't have noticed as much. To those of yall saying "WHO IS WE???," my answer would be the majority of people who played Sonic Unleashed.💀 I know Sonic fans love to do this but we not rewriting history on this one
The night gameplay is underrated. I personally never got good at them but they were legit fun and there's videos out there that showcase how mich you can pop off with comboing and using your moveset to complete skips and speedruns.
I love this because half the time they're analyzing and breaking down the sound as they're listening but then the other half, they're simply going "Yo, this is REALLY good!"
I like how the guy with the glasses on the far left points out the small details that nobody else talks about. He doesn’t say as much as the others but he points out parts I never took the time to focus on and notice, it really opens up the tracks more for me. Just wanted to point that out as I appreciated his attention to detail.
In terms of OST, Sonic Mania and Sonic Adventure 2 REALLY takes the cake! Those two games are my faves in terms of listening to the music; Sometimes I end up not playing the game and just listening to the music because of how good it is lmao.
Sonic games definitely try fun things with their music. SA2 was cool to me with how each character’s theme and stage songs were centered around a different music style. Definitely a bit cheesy but still so fun and hype 😂 A personal favorite
Whoever edited this video knows what they’re doing. Zooming the video in and moving the camera around goes a long way to keep the video engaging. Small touches like that often go unappreciated.
