It was like watching an older version of myself having a mental breakdown after my abusive mother (who is still alive) had eventually passed away. Everything I've felt but couldn't put into words this script expressed perfectly.
Jennifer Coolidge's voice has some sadness to it even when she's happy. Ever since I was a child and saw her in legally blonde i have had a special place in my heart for her. The first scene not only had me crying but sobbing. She's a powerful actress and isn't as respected as she should be. I love you Jennifer, you're so loved and valued!

Jennifer Coolidge is one hell of an actress. Never fails to make audiences laugh and be constantly amazed and drawn to her acting skills. I haven’t watched this show in full, so I might wanna add this to the my list of shows that I wanna watch later. Just for the vibes of it.
She was good in this series but her other roles as histerical crazy ladies were just cringe - she was trying too much to be funny e.g. in Friends and in Sex and the city. Good she played that one well but it would be also nice to finally see her in another kind of role…
@@megem616 I agree she had bad stereotypical roles, but there was always something endearing to her, we wanted to be her friend. I'm glad she had a good character that matched her acting chops.
She was... a NYMPHOMANIACCC! Seriously lost my shit at that part. Her entire performance throughout the series was incredible, and she was able to make me laugh and cry, sometimes within the same scene. But the eulogy on the boat is just fucking genius. 'even if she had no... maternal instincts.... or skills'. GIVE HER THE EMMY! That primal scream though. Incredible. Also, I really really related to her entire core of the onion speech. But was still laughing.
Everyone on the show did an awesome job, but Jennifer's performance was so incredibly sincere and "real" that I was stunned by it. I think she gets dismissed as being "kooky" or "ditzy" and I loved seeing her in this raw state.
How did the actors not bust up laughing during the eulogy scene?? And then cry too?? She played it brilliantly! I love her in everything she does, give her the Emmy!!
