When the Castlevania series comes to an end (and we know it will with direction their taking with LoS ending) we know the last game is probably be about Julius Belmont sealing Dracula and his castle in The eclipse in 1999 also known as the "Demon Castle Wars" this song should be playing at the end of the game as it fades to the credits when Julius seals Dracula and his castle away forever( i personally think when this game is made its gonna be the best castlevania out of all of them to finish the series with a bang)
I think original timeline is out of the question now, sadly. So, as much as I'd like to be wrong, we probably won't ever get the Demon Castle Wars game... :(

Did you ever play the NES and SNES Castlevania games? You die pretty much as easily as in Dark Souls, specially when there is a hole behind you. (in fact, I think I ragequitted more in Dracula X Chronicles than in any Souls game)

Just co-op mode, haven't you seen it? You should invite a friend to play, whether they like castlevania or not, they can have fun, specially if you actually do tactics and make good pairs.
Indeed, having it be like a platformer would be beyond great, but it's a lot of work for the developer (Serio alone, mainly). Though the game is advancing fçgreatly toward a good one, with RPG elements and a good story. And the hard and nightmare, I know that feel, I'd like to be able to beat at leat the first boss in nightmare, but I guess that's the sense of the mode.
Meh, doing a tandem battle with another character controlled by the pc can be frustrating, since other than ome hits of advantage, they don't change anything, it's like fighting alone. You should try playing with a friend in the same mode, it's a good load of fun.

Change the Play Back Speed to 1.25 for a whole different experience. Set to 1.5 for Desperation Mode.
