Replacing a Nikki fuel injector pintle cap with a "Universal" 2-100 cap

Customer complained the cap did not fit because it does not sink under the lip of the metal part of the injector. It does not need to, and fits perfectly fine. Have bene using this same cap on Mitsubishi injectors for over 2 decades with no trouble.

Mine do not fit. DSM 450cc bluetop injectors P/N INP 009.
The blue caps you sent will fall right off of it.
