ashlands islands, the final frontier: valheim

after having fully explored the main continents, i figured i would try to reveal more of the map fog beyond the shore. turns out there are little islands here and there.
when far from the shore of the main continents, look for the water to get shallow on the map, wavy lines. this means you are close to land. also, look for the large rock formations or graeston ruins, which can spawn in shallow water.
you could probably travel between the cones better with lighter armor but i like flametal for the heat resistance, which increases the amount of time before you start to boil in the hot water.
lastly, i highly recommend you carry 2 sets of portal materials. i have placed and then disassembled a portal on a cone, and some of the mats fell into the water, like the cores and eyes. carry 2 sets or you may get stranded. taking some stone for a campfire isnt a bad idea either, in case you need or want to rest without portaling home.
