I'm so amazed that I seen the ole Ricky Skaggs homeplace today! I loved it....so glad to see a birthplace of an amazing bluegrass musician! Let alone someone who loves this band!!! I love Blue Highway!
Hometown group. Shawn was raised 20 minutes from me in a very humble family setting. His brother sang on the early CDs. Shawn has said Chad was better than him. There's a few videos of him singing with Shawn and his kids. They also record at Hatcreek recording. My group is blessed to record there. Old friend is the owner.
years ago I met the band at a bluegrass festival where as a student our coach was Shaun Lane, what a great experience it was . Shaun was a very patient teacher and guide. We got to play with the band.
Saw this song live and it was amazing. I've never heard such amazing talent. They sound EXACTLY like this in person and even though the wood is shredding from their instruments from how passionately they play, their face is stone straight. LOVED IT!
@pprinkey Dang right! He has some serious drive no doubt! He and Jim Mills are absolutely my favorites! The break he does on Monrobro and on Midnight Storm are epic, and Rob Ickes is great as well. He can't count those guys out!

This is the first band I was exposed to when I got into bluegrass years ago and they are my favorite to this day.
