Sorry about the blood eagle ritual. I'll tell my Mandalorian Death Watch Klingon Vikings to stop doing that to you. Maybe you should like join us or something.
fun fact, did you know the american military let unit 731 go in exchange for their research? tldr; you can get pardoned for crimes against humanity as long as your captors want something you have
I mean...that data couldn't be replicated without tormenting people again. I honestly don't know what call I would make if I had to decide whether to make a deal for the research or not. Assuming it was useful, idk what all was learned. They (Unit 731 and co) destroyed a lot of the documents before capture too, so we may not even know the worst of it :(
@@eepinwillow Not only couldn't be replicated,, but some of the experiments didn't seem to have any value to begin with, just "thrill kills". Yes, grenades kill people. Freezing people kill people. What a breakthrough.
@@eepinwillow Alot of the experiments were useless and told us nothing. There was very little value, if any, to anything they did at that Unit. "Hey did you know that if you take out someone's organs and put them in someone else, both people die?" That was the kind of stuff they did there. It was just a geekshow.
yay!! i love when you post :) ive been waiting for a channel like this to do a history of the beauty community! i think theres a lot of fun facts and weird things found in its past and i think the potential for the drawn images are untapped
About the mustard gas experiment(s), not so fun fact (and also not really surprising), the US tested the effects by race (African-American as one can expect, but also Japanese-Americans and Puerto Ricans) and the UK (mostly?) conducted their experiments on Indian troops.
What happened in the Pitesti prison in Romania is the most absurdly disgusting thing I've ever heard in my life honestly it makes concentration camps in world war II look like just common every day crappity crap that happens during war.... It's so sick and it absolutely blows my mind that this isn't something that's more widely known about....
I am a Hepatitis-C. Survivor I used one of the experimental medicines and it worked for me. I still have it in my system and it could show back up. But so far so good and it’s been 15 years.
the people who they experimented on with mustard gas and other things were primarily black, which just makes it that much worse (those people were specifically not given treatment aswell)
Crazy that you didn't include the fact that Ted Kaczynski was one of the MK Ultra test subjects. I spelled Kaczynski correct the first time, without having to check, so yay for me.
The nuclear detonation thing was to see if they could one up the Osowietz' braves. Turns out that radiations could be a bit too much. In all honesty, hydrocloric acid was as well. None of those dudes went back home.
I need like 4-6 hour long videos man. What else am I gonna do while I'm working but listen to weird tortures or random history. Or just random everything haha

I guess for some of these it's a case of "the suffering of many outweighs that of the suffering few." though in most cases it's unneeded cruelty, but cruelty is in some ways what drives humanity forced.

I mean, Unit 731 makes all those look tame and reasonable.
The US did something pretty similar to what happened in Totskoye, but instead of soldiers, it was the natives of the Bikini Atoll Peninsula.
