I was trying to attach a Word doc to an email. It crashed. Disappeared from recent docs and location where it was stored. Found it using .docx in Finder but Word cannot now open it, even in recovery, saying file is corrupt and doesn't recognise it as unidentifiable characters present in name. Changed file name, opened Word in Repair mode. Success!! Thank you for helping locate the .docx file.

I saved a document with a format that my mac doesn't recognize (it was a mistake) and whenever I type the name of it, it simply says "not found"
