Word File Recovery Solution | How to Recover Unsaved/Deleted Word Documents on Windows?

This video will show you feasible methods on how to recover deleted/unsaved word documents.
Recover Unsaved Word Document:
Method 1: Recovering from temporary files
(1) Launch Microsoft Word document and click File tab.
(2) Find and click "Manage versions", select "Recover unsaved document" option.
(3) A list of unsaved files will open choose the file and click open.
Method 2: Recovering from AutoRecover
(1) Open Word by clicking the "Start" button.
(2) Go to the file menu, hit on the options tab and click "save" option.
(3) Copy the path showing next to auto recover file location option.
(4) Open File Explorer in your PC now and paste the copied path in it, you can now open the folder having your files name.
(5) Just copy it and come to Microsoft Word again and hit on file option, click on Open and look for the recent documents list, and then click on "recover unsaved documents". Once this is done, you can fix the file you have copied in the folder that comes up now open the file and get it recovered.
Method 3: Recovering from Document Recovery Feature of Word
Reopen the word document you'll see your file on the left side under document recovery section, simply double click on that and you will recover word documents not saved in a second.
Recover Deleted Word Documents:
Method 1: Recovering deleted word documents from recycle bin
If you can confirm you haven't permanently deleted your Microsoft document you can find it in your recycle bin and restore it from there.
(1) From your desktop, double click on the recycle bin icon and open it.
(2) When it's opened, look for your word file, right click on it and click on restore.
Method 2: Recovering permanently deleted word file with Recoverit
If you have deleted an important word file permanently, it will not be recovered from recycle bin. It needs a professional word file recovery tool. Here we take Recoverit as example to recover permanently deleted word file in just 3 simple steps:
(1) Launch Recoverit, choose the location from where your word file was lost and then click on the start button
(2) It will begin to scan the location to search your lost files.
(3) Once the scanning is done, simply preview the deleted or unsaved files and click on the recover button

My auto save wasn't on and I lost about 9 pages... I found the auto recovery file, and of course it wasn't there because I never saved it.

Hi there, thank you for your question! check if you have AutoRecover option turned on then open the file and go to info under the manage documents select the file labeled "when I closed without saving" then select restore Hopefully, that solves your issue.

In the recover unsaved documents it is not there and theres no option saying "when I closed without saving". Please tell me I can get it i really need help.

If you tried all the steps mentioned in the video and still can't retrieve your data its unlikely you will be able to recover the paragraph you can also try going to the OneDrive tab which might have a previous version of your document if you have it activated.
