Today's video (3-6-21) is back to NO understandable audio track. The only idea what you're saying is via Closed Captions. You must have shot yesterdays video (seen 3-5-21) on the other recording unit. Lets get the audio back on track! This is playing your channel into a dangerous trap! There's no entertainment value in watching video with Closed Captions! Suit yourself , I guess you are satisfied with a substandard number of views.regardless of how it effects your revenue stream.
Randy, the Pontiac, at the right price, would make a great project. (we won’t tell anybody it runs) That one and the Datsun would be SWEET content. 😊👍🙏
Lol my first ride was a 1993 Mercury Cougar XR7 with a H.O. 5.0 302 V8 single in dual out exhaust Sea green exterior black pleather interior with wood trim in the dash and door panels needless to say I got quite a few speeding ticket and had to replace the tires a few times especially the rear tires since it's a rear wheel drive car lol
The hood release is all the one in front on the c10 I have a 1970 same thing lift up on it once and the hood will pop then lift up on it again while lifting the hood
On a 71 Chevrolet truck, the hood release is at the front where you were looking you just pull it to you safety release hits then you pull it again and push it up there is no inside mechanism
Farm auction in Kansas this week on another youtube channel, a GMC like this but with vintage add-on tool boxes in place of the fenders (and the fenders included too) sold for $1400. Six, auto. Motor turned over but it had been sitting a long time. There's your big involved project. Buy this, buy a running wreck say a van with an LS and put the motor, trans and electrical in this. Why a van? Not too many extra systems or modules in a work van to deal with.
Just saw @saltherookie new video I just noticed that you have given him a shout out. Thank you Randy for supporting the underdog. And thank you to all the people who subscribed to Sal's channel. He is a good friend of mine, and was over the moon with your gesture. On a separate note, can't wait to see the BMW video, that will be a good one
The crazy thing to me about that del sol looks fixable, I wonder how bad it actually is the quarters really aren't bent that badly. I bet that frame could be fixed relatively easily. It just needs to go on a frame machine and definitely needs a lot of tlc but because of how clean it is I would take a shot at it. I bet that car can be bought for no more than 300 dollars ish
That GXP is a classic but finding parts would be hard. Plus these engines were known for piston burn. This was back before direct injection and high compression weren't a thing, so the engines weren't tuned right and the result was burning a hole through the piston or valve float. They revved high and the injectors early on were seriously cranked up, but no direct injection like we have now especially with the Hyundai 3.8L V6 that runs in the Otto and Atkinson cycle as needed to stop blow-by and get the most power. If you corrected the injection issue and made sure the heads were good, lots of fun.
My first car was a '69 Chevy C10 with a gutless 6 cylinder and a 3 on the tree transmission. Bought it when I was 15 way back in 1980. It was in rough shape, paid $700 for it. Different times.
AHHH Randy I hate spiders as much as you. What I would do if that happens again is take off your jacket and whip it around like a trash bag until you think it’s gone
I have the same Infiniti w/ 35k miles in mint condition got it from an elderly couple last year & i love it. That Infiniti would be a nice car to revive & but it & restore it if I had time.
Randy, for the Prelude, check main fuel pump relay, then, i would guess wrong timing belt adjustement. Non-interferential engine so probably no damage at all! be carefull with the transmission therefore!
Nothing happened he went through it and put another plug back in, didn't strip anything. The problem is did he fill it back up with coolant or left just the water in it. Seeing what happened to the dodge coronet I hope he put coolant in it after fixing the coolant leak
I drive a Pontiac Gran Prix GXP as a daily driver. Mine has 72k miles. They are horribly under rated! Ours flat out has run 2 Camaros and dusted them. We also have a Bonneville GXP that sounds as good as any Trans Am! Keep us posted on that car please!
Skip to 26:50 for the C10... you can see the lift up hood release lever in the video! He should have stepped into the bed on passenger side and crossed over to driver's side step and opened door! Engine valve covers look '86 or newer.
There was a dealership close to me that had just about everything destroyed with hail, they were selling brand new cars cheap, just dented. Wish I had the money at the time, I would have mad maxed the hell out of a brand new car lol, best thing to do with something that damaged but yet so new
Oh and I have done this before, I got a 96 lasabre for $1.25, yes,. I painted it flat black, let the neighbor go at it with a hammer, stripped the interior, and spent weeks at the local dump bring random crap home and welding it to the car. Had it road worthy too, a local cop stopped by to admire it, said he wouldn't get too close because there was a few tickets there lol, but they left me alone because they all loved it. But the trans died and water pump let go, it is now a local landmark outside my store that I had to close because of the economy and covid

READ THE COMMENTS!!! YOU ARE THE ONLY PERSON WITH AUDIO ISSUES!!!! ALL VIDEOS ARE RECORDED ON THE SAME DEVICE!!!! GET YOUR DEVICE FIXED!!
@Mike Bessee bro, I’m having no audio problems with his video whatsoever. What are you talking about?
@Mike Bessee Stop complaining and if you don’t like this go somewhere else no one cares what you have to say
Wtf the audio is just alright
Man, check your audio system/cables/settings.
The audio is crystal clear through all my devices (smartphone/laptop/headphones/TV and soundbar).
That Infiniti is so rare not to mention it’s has the state of the art technology back in the day so that’s a solid buy in my book
Rare, plus state of the art tech, plus being early 2000s is a headache waiting to happen, not to mention it’s an Infiniti, which is already a headache
I would love love love to see that Grand Prix on the channel
Save that GXP Randy! It makes sense.
That GXP might be a real score if the price is right. A thorough cleaning would take care of the smell.
Man that C10 is gold buy it even if it goes over 10 grand that thing will bring major content and you'll end up keeping it they're extremely popular.
That c10 is waiting for you. Imagine that truck with a Maco paint job.
Take the motor out of the 2nd vette and put it in that c10. Transmission work new bed and paint. Would be great content
That car was scrapped.
FYI, only one release on early c10 hoods. That thing will go for a load of money. They are on fire right now.
The hood release
Randy, the Pontiac, at the right price, would make a great project. (we won’t tell anybody it runs) That one and the Datsun would be SWEET content. 😊👍🙏
I’m still surprised these videos are filmed on an iPhone. These iPhones are literally amazing.
I forgot it was an IPhone lmao
I'll give the Americans that they make fantastic cameras my Google is the same the quality is so good you would think it's an actual camera
S21 Ultra as well
I’ve always had an iPhone and I always will.
If he used a Samsung S it will be even better!
Randy buy that old Chevy truck. That would be a great hot rod restoration project.
Agree.
Absolutely love the attention to detail of your videos. The GXP needs to be saved.
that old pick up is very cool .
That c10 is really cool
I thought you might give the Mustang to the young man who helped you clean it up, I thought he liked it alot.
He does love it but he's 12. #1 I'm not holding a car for 4 years, and #2 no kid should have a V8 sports car as a first ride.
@@AutoAuctionRebuilds My dad bought me a brand new Honda 125 for my first ride, I wonder which is safer, a V8 car, or an underpowered motorcycle? 😁👍✌
Randy is right about the V8. Don't fully understand the power = put the car into a tree
@@AutoAuctionRebuilds i am sure he will get good drivers training from you in mexico ha
The 71 step side would be a long term, but plenty of new followers would like to see your work and it be put back together.. Thanks Randy.
I swear I remembered that C10, and i realized you looked at it in a copart walk around from 9 months ago
i just see at
My dad has a 71 C10 stepside with the LS 1 engine which he left to me
It's the same color to and he redid the wood floor in the bed it's also got krager SS wheels and street strip tires on it
@@justinfoster1640 cool
I guess he was doing something with the cab forward electric when he passed because the whole front clip and the fenders are completely off of it
i remember that c10 its from 9 months ago it hasn't sold you should pick it up
The hood release is all the one in front on the c10 I have a 1970 same thing lift up on it once and the hood will pop then lift up on it again while lifting the hood
I'm so happy you looked at that 93 dodge ram! I was looking at bidding on that truck from Indiana!
J should try biding c10 awsome my favorite old school trucks
You better buy that old diesel! That would be an amazing restoration 🤩 very nice
My father had a C10 just like that with a 4 speed granny low with a 350 v8 small block, that would be a great project for you randy
On a 71 Chevrolet truck, the hood release is at the front where you were looking you just pull it to you safety release hits then you pull it again and push it up there is no inside mechanism
Randy. Please pick up that C-10 would love to see that content
And the gxp it's clean af

I have always loved those Pontiac GXPs. Its a runner and would be new to the channel.
That Pontiac reminds me of my first car
Hope she finds a good homr
Buy yourself a pair of gore-tex hikingboots for the copart walks and don't worry about mud or puddles! 👍😁👍
That C10 Is Dereck (VSG) Special..

That del Sol is sad. Looks like it was in pretty nice shape before it got crunched. Not tons of them left in nice original shape.
The crazy thing to me about that del sol looks fixable, I wonder how bad it actually is the quarters really aren't bent that badly. I bet that frame could be fixed relatively easily. Man that c10 was the whole point on clicking on the video.
You had the hood release for the C10 right in the middle of your camera shot when you were looking at the engine through the grill.

Good to see you buddy love that chev pickup good luck
Hey Randy, that Honda prelude would a nice car to get, what a great car
My first car was a '69 Chevy C10 with a gutless 6 cylinder and a 3 on the tree transmission. Bought it when I was 15 way back in 1980. It was in rough shape, paid $700 for it. Different times.
Yeah I'm about the same age as you. I miss those days! 😃
So we might see the 280 in the channel but I say we’ll definitely see the GXP 😉👍🏼
Yes!! Buy the c10 LS swap
Love your channel man..... from New Zealand..
Could have valve damage from failed timing belt. Belt changed but valve damage and no compression remains.
That could be a great truck
Those preludes also came with 4ws. Cool car fix up
I'm so old I remember when "looks sick" was a bad thing.....
Good Afternoon My Good Little Bro Randy Lee Shear Of Auto Auction Rebuilds
Thank You All For Liking My Comments To Mr Randy Lee Shear Of Auto Auction Rebuilds
Another awesome walk around 😄
Watching you from Brazil 🇧🇷!!!
That c10 will be a good project
well randy dont we all wish that every car that went through auction had a letter in it explaining what happened to the vehicle 😁
We got a hail storm that ripped holes into the sides of houses and broke widows a few months ago in Saskatchewan
It looked like someone had tried tapping those hail dents out from the inside witch looked pretty obvious but at least they had a go ?!
Another good one Randy
The prelude thinking somebody messed up the timing when they changed the belt.
Isn’t that the same C10 from the 5-21-20 walk around?
My all-time favorite trucks, 67-72 Chevy/Gmc I think I've owned 4 in my life, but no longer. Please buy the '71!
Omg I love the prelude 😍😍😍😍😍
Love that GXP Randy. Would love to see it on the channel being an owner myself.
Man Randy, Jump On That GXP, What A Cool Car!!
I like the old Dodge trucks same thing with the ram chargers and all that good fine and good video brother keep up the good work
Sad prelude jumped timiming
while looking t honda, you missed wonderful volvo s60 . Chevy pick up is fantastic, would be great to see it on the channel
AHHH Randy I hate spiders as much as you. What I would do if that happens again is take off your jacket and whip it around like a trash bag until you think it’s gone
Man i want that GXP!
YESSSS...another vid!!!
I have the same Infiniti w/ 35k miles in mint condition got it from an elderly couple last year & i love it. That Infiniti would be a nice car to revive & but it & restore it if I had time.
Could be the fuel pump
Hood release off center in top of grille. Later model sbc with the valve cover bolts center up top
Good job Randy!!
Please make a video on the C10 Chevy pickup Stepside
The first thing I do when I see hail damage is say "would you look at that, just look at it"
Randy, for the Prelude, check main fuel pump relay, then, i would guess wrong timing belt adjustement. Non-interferential engine so probably no damage at all! be carefull with the transmission therefore!
Randy I want to bid on the Mustang at IAA but I was hoping you could tell me what you did to the spark plugs that blew out
Nothing happened he went through it and put another plug back in, didn't strip anything. The problem is did he fill it back up with coolant or left just the water in it. Seeing what happened to the dodge coronet I hope he put coolant in it after fixing the coolant leak

That Buick would make a great candidate for a PDR training class.
That prelude man🥺
Really like the GXP and the Datsun 280 hoping maybe you got them would love to see that content
I think i saw that c10 9 months ago in one of your copart walk arounds
Please bid on the Datsun!!! Would love to see that project
Randy, you missed a Saturn Outlook (rare variant of the GMC Acadia) and, more importantly, a Pontiac Aztek! You gotta check those out...
Skip to 26:50 for the C10... you can see the lift up hood release lever in the video! He should have stepped into the bed on passenger side and crossed over to driver's side step and opened door! Engine valve covers look '86 or newer.
I'd really enjoy watching that Dodge Cummins on the channel
Visiting from flying wheels, great videos
Thanks man! Good to see you!
Another good walk around
Thanks for the video, Randy.
Del sol used have amazing trunk room before, looks small but isn't.
That Prelude sounds like either the timing belt was installed wrong, or the firing order is off.
I hate spiders too Randy. We have really large ones in Australia.....
Save the old Dodge and the GXP 👍😎
There was a dealership close to me that had just about everything destroyed with hail, they were selling brand new cars cheap, just dented. Wish I had the money at the time, I would have mad maxed the hell out of a brand new car lol, best thing to do with something that damaged but yet so new

Looks like someone's sad attempt to heat the dents with a heat gun and pull them on that Buick hence the bubbling paint
That c10 would be nice with that 12 valve
10/10 that GLS hydrolocked. RIP rods
Randy don’t be afraid of spiders 🕷. Lol
Hi, Randy i hope the motor on the 59 is okay.
Love the C10.
Randy on that Chevy pickup truck I will buy that truck and then drive from Vegas all over to Oklahoma to pick it up
the honda had the timing belt done alright incorrectly look and see if the engine is interferance if not redoing the timing belt might fix it.
Del sol are awesome cars. It's hard to find one in good condition. I've been looking lol
I know I want a del sol so bad, just seems like 16 year old kids owned every single one of them. Or they want collector car money.
