I’ve never left a comment on other videos about tiny houses, doesn’t mean I don’t like them, but something about this guy giving us tour in this house is amazing. He’s so entertaining and the fact that he has a sense of humor, you wouldn’t be bored watching.
Love it.. very nice and roomy floor design..Love the livingroom area with that beautiful couch..I believe the men build the homes and their wives do the interior decorating in the homes... no man can decorate like that..😛😃❤BEAUTIFUL. WISH I COULD AFFORD ONE.
Believe it or not in addition to hosting the tours Lou actually picks out all the furnishing in the homes, he has an extremely keen eye. Thanks so much for the love :)
This is extremely well designed with lots of flexibility. I love the cozy living room with tons of seating. You could actually have company! The lofts are a great size - enough for a craft room in the smaller one. I love all the storage in this house as well and the large windows. The ceiling treatment is beautiful. I might just make it a tad longer to fit a tub in the bathroom. Other than that it’s perfect!
This is a gorgeous house. The only things I don’t like are the w/d combo unit. They just don’t dry well and they take so long to do one load. The other thing is the ladders to get in the lofts. I would need a staircase at least for the master loft. Otherwise this is a beautiful, well thought out home.
Natalia, We are planning on going tiny as we relocate and Auburn is one of the locations we are looking at! Is tiny legal there as far as zoning codes go? Is it a favorable area for full time tiny living?
Excellent presentation, what and easy going guy to talk with and have as a presenter. a beautiful tiny pad. Have you ever presented a tiny home for those who have mobile issues? This home is so cozy, just wonderfully decorated. Thanks for sharing
I really liked the living room with a real couch! I think they could have added a foot of so in the lofts and still been road worthy. I liked the bathroom and kitchen as well as stair to main sleeping loft. Exterior was very nice as well, good job overall!
Just have to say, in response to the critics (cost, ethics, weight, quality of materials, etc.), you are making assumptions that everyone looking for or building tiny homes is SUPPOSED to be making some statement or taking a stance about consumerism, the environment, sustainability, waste, and so forth, and that there are agreed upon rules if you are a builder or consumer. Good grief. Some folks just want to be near their grandkids, or are tired of being tied down after working for 30 years. If one sells her paid-for home to buy a high-end tiny home for even $100k and travel for a year, who’s to say that isn’t the “ethics” of tiny house living, or that a person isn’t doing it right? Sorry, those comments were just foolish. As someone who has always loved small, cozy, just-right spaces, I have aspired to live in a tiny home (or at least a much smaller one) since before they were all the rage, but the time for that change has not arrived yet. And when the time is right, I plan to do it the way it works for me, not someone’s idea of what I should do. I plan to design it specifically in a way that functions perfectly for me down to the last detail, and videos like these are wonderful for inspiration as well as to see what wouldn’t work for me. Keep them coming! Not all of us want reclaimed wood everywhere, a composting toilet, or to get our water from a crock sitting out on the counter, and some of us really do cook meals, like to wear clean clothes, don’t have capsule wardrobes, and don’t own a single dream-catcher!
I 1000% AGREE WITH YOU💞🙏💞 I PRAY TO BUILD MY LITTLE HOUSE SOON IF THE LORD WILL AND YES IT WILL HAVE TO BE FUNCTIONAVKE FOR ME AND YES MY GRANDCHILDREN..MOTHER AND OTHER FAMIKY MEMBERS WHEN THEY ARE WITH ME!!!! I PRAY VERY HARD AND HUMBLE IN TRUTH TO GOD TO LEAD AND DIRECT MY STEPS IN ALL AREAS OF MY LIFE AND I AM NOT OUT TO PLEASE OTHERS ANYMORE AND I PRAY THAT YOU GET YOUR HOME TO YOUR LIKING ALSO💞💞💞 ROMANS 16:16
I wasn’t saying that people shouldn’t build tiny homes with everything in them, only that those people looking to CUT the cost of housing, may find these tiny homes with everything expensive and out of reach. I also don’t think a lot of people understand towing weights and vehicle requirements - many do but so many more don’t. As someone who is married to a person who has built these type of homes in the past and who’s brother-in-law owns a company that manufacturers these types of homes every day, I was merely voicing my opinion in regards to the cost and weight factors. Not once did I say people shouldn’t do it or have what they want and was not trying to discuss the ethics of consumerism. I would love a tiny home and no doubt will end up with one so I can travel and see my family and grandchildren, but I know that it won’t be cheap (I don’t have dream catchers either and also like clean clothes and a proper wardrobe, not to mention my sewing machine!). I also know that in order to travel with it, I will need to upgrade my vehicle so it can be towed safely, which again, adds to the cost of the home purchase. A lot of people don’t think of this when thinking it could be a cheaper option. Of course cheaper options can be found, but what home items do they have to sacrifice to achieve a better price? I hope you build your tiny home with all the bells and whistles and wish you luck as my comment was never written with the intent to offend anyone, and I’m sorry you felt the need to be so defensive of your choice. Live and let live.
That is one of the nicest tiny houses I’ve seen. It’s decorated with beautiful finishes, and has so much flexibility built into the design. You could use the smaller loft as so many things - wardrobe storage, office, craft room, meditation space. For me it would be a knitting space to hold my huge yarn stash! You could easily put a little desk or computer station up there too. It’s always tough to find office space in a tiny house. The area downstairs where this one had a small table & chairs is another possible desk space. I’m saving this video so I can refer back to this builder when I’m ready to build. Beautiful job!
This tiny house is beautiful. It has so much storage space. And like another commenter stated, the bathroom is not right off the kitchen! Something I could live in comfortably.
Amazing amount of storage and nicely finished. The area around the stove and stairs is awkward looking to say the least - and you need at least a little counter space around the cook top I think.
This guy is charismatic.. it’s refreshing to see a salesperson who isn’t annoying. I’d take this place in a second. Looking for house in next 2 years. Tired of condo life. This is something to think about
Fantastic well thought out design. Great price too, worth it every penny. Such good quality finishes. You can see how some builders are just out to make a big profit with crappy design and low end finishes. You guys are a class act.
Although a lovely tiny house, I’m starting to get concerned about the amount of money it takes to build these tiny homes with everything. Those people who are trying to cut the cost of housing and looking to purchase a tiny home with this in mind, may find once they do all their sums, that they should just buy a small, standard house or apartment. Also, what about the weight of these homes? Adding in marble and timber bench tops, tiled splash backs and the like increases their weight and if on trailers, the vehicles required to tow them legally need to be larger and are generally more expensive. Lovely homes but other than their dimensions, no longer ‘tiny’.
I would agree to a point. It really depends on the locations and standards of living.ln the Pacific Northwest States, north of Seattle WA, home prices have soared in price so high, many people have either move out of state or become homeless. Homes or condo the cheapest to buy can start at 150,000 and medium prices at 400,000. Rent studio apt begin at over a thousand monthly. That doesn't include the additional charges of HOA fees average cost 300+ monthly. Many RV or mobile home spaces were paved to make more standard housing, apartments or businesses but what has been left, can rent for low end 600 a month on up. That usually including water, sewer, garbage and any other amenities. Campground memberships are more reasonable but have limited use terms of 3 months to 6 months per year. Tiny house builders also can use wheeled trailers types but also set up foundation type tiny homes. The cost reflects the choices. Now you can also check around different builders who can offer alternative build types as well as normal home builds to pod or modular types. Mobile or Manufacturer Homes have always been build on wheels, just usually set on pier stands with the wheels removed and skirting placed around the bottom. I just turned 55 and after 35 years of marriage living in a large home, I'm headed to living alone on a fixed income. Scary and with the economy here out pricing my options, to stay local to family I will be forced to find a reasonable priced used manufacturer home in a 55+ mobile home park. I would love to buy my own cottage but cost is too high. Buying a lot .35 acre would possibly be doable and smacking down a tiny house would be lovely but finding it in town is impossible. I can't drive due to a disability so on wheels no going to happen.... Not only are location important but living expenses and choices are a big factor.
A lot depends where you want to live. $65,000 to 80,000 is not a lot of money if you are living in Seattle or the San Francisco area. I think having higher end products helps with being in such a small space to help avoid the cabin fever effect. Sure you can build a small box for $35,000 but it just depends how you like to live. For these prices you can also buy a used motor home. These tiny homes are more acceptable on properties with neighbors close by because they look more like a home rather than a RV just sitting there. These homes also allow you to place them on land with amazing views.
Kelly Crane I’m 57 and newly single too - also with a disability, so I’m reviewing all my options also. I’m in SoCal where home prices are insanely high and don’t want to leave my 18 & 20 year old kids yet. So I’m probably going to rent for a while until I decide where and what to buy in the future. Tiny homes are a great option for people like us who don’t want a big house to take care of any more. I’m not really interested in anything on wheels. I’d prefer a foundation. The trick is deciding where to build! So many cities don’t allow tiny homes so you have to do your research. Wishing you the best of luck and many blessings in your search. 🙏🏻💜👼🏻✝️😇
Congrats to the creators of this amazingly homely tiny house, you just know the builders got it right when you’re feeling the place and it omits that homely feel. Everything about this tiny home is lovely, I seriously digging it. Now, you tiny house builders, do you work with British customers and do shipping? So far, there’s only one tiny house builders that ships to the U.K. and they’re in Australia. The tiny house movement in the U.K. are slow-burners and I’m getting fed up trying to explaining to some tiny house builders in the U.K. that their work is crap because they think putting wheels on to a garden shed makes it a tiny house, and then they get upset with me when I bitch out their arses! Also, it would be a good idea if American or Canadian tiny house builders think about coming to the U.K. and hopefully open their tiny homes businesses here too, especially with the amount of people in London alone who are trying to get on to the property ladder, which is almost impossible. Ideally, I would like someone with very deep pockets to actually buy a sizeable land and actually start up a tiny house village in the Greater London area. If anyone is up for that challenge, welcome to the U.K.! But on a serious note, would someone in the tiny house business, really consider expanding their business in the U.K. please. Thank you, and I totally ❤️❤️❤️ this video
Wow absolutely Wow! I could do with this kitchen as I love to cook. This would be wonderful for my princess (my mom), myself and my pom-chi. I don't want my mom climbing stairs so this would be just right for us... Love it!!!
This house with everything shown is $103,155, its on their website if you do some digging, it’s way overpriced with a $28,155 markup on $74,950 base price. It would have been nice to know on the onset of watching these videos!
Have you considered the internal heating effect of propane/gas stoves? Would an electric conduction range perhaps be better for not increasing internal temps during summer? Just a thought. Love the layout!!!
The tiny house is gorgeous! Now on another note, the marble is NOT Carrera marble, it IS from a region in Italy 🇮🇹 called Carrara. Sorry guys, couldn't let it slide....😉 God bless y'all and again what an amazing tiny house❣
The windows are amazing, I love the rooms but would need more height in the master bedroom as I couldn't crawl. Plus, would rather give up one tall window to have a storage stairway wall. Could a microwave with exhaust fan in kitchen to outside? Thanks for the video!
This ones insane!! I wonder since I’m 5’7 And my girl is 5’9 If we could consider lowering the second floor so we could get some more head room up there
Great bathroom, and well situated. For me, there is wasted space where there could have been more kitchen counter (in favour of two eating places it seems). And I personally prefer steps. Love the counter tops, tiles and general finish though.
You had me until you go the loft space. It's a well thought out floor plan. I think you should add spiral steps with rails and lift the ceiling of the loft area.
I agree, so that area that he made the living room would have to be my bedroom! Only way a loft area would work for me, is if there's a longer landing area, & a few more stairs so I can just hop into my bed. I've seen tinys built like that, so I know it can be done!
I want a tiny house when my man dies. I was not even thinking about my back. Several surgeries later and I still wouldn't be able to move around up there. TY for mentioning that because this IS one of my faves
Cozy looking house! You could improve the sound a bit, the sound levels were all over the place - some times I hear loud and clear and the next moment the sound is so quiet I have to crank up the volume up and down
questions: is it possible to build a tiny house where the lofts, not only have stairs to both. But were you don't have to crawl around inside them like your 3? or is that to much to ask, lets be real we're not getting any younger. I've designed my dream tiny house on wheels, but I don't know if its realistically possible. Also do your designs come with no LP appliances? and walls in front of the lofts for private changing and sleeping quarters? Are your homes build with wood studs? or mettle framework? How does your company insulate the homes? do you allow the future home owner to put in sweat equity? thank you. just things I've been mulling around, looking for guidance and a possible builder. I do like that the home has cupboards and not the unpractical open shelves. though I would like a way to lock them so that when you are traveling the items in the cupboard do not end up on the floor.one must think of all aspects that this home on wheels will be in. Is this size home able to be pulled by a regular truck or does a moving company need to be involved.
Hi Heather. We build to the RV code so we cannot go taller. So we either give you headspace downstairs or upstairs. Most people spend time downstairs so they want to stand up while on the first floor. We have models with bedrooms downstairs. Simply visit our website; www.TinyMountainHouses.com to view first floor living spaces.

Love the fact that the bathroom is NOT right off the kitchen! 👌
Yes...very nicely designed house imo
Is that the guy with the golden voice?
I’m with you. I like the kitchen and bathroom to be apart too.
Thanks for the feedback, Monica! Be sure to share with a friend :)
Me too! First thing i noticed. Probably the first smart design ive seen with the bathroom not next to the kitchen. 😊
Love it.. very nice and roomy floor design..Love the livingroom area with that beautiful couch..I believe the men build the homes and their wives do the interior decorating in the homes... no man can decorate like that..😛😃❤BEAUTIFUL. WISH I COULD AFFORD ONE.

That is a beautiful tiny home. The fit, the finish... Everything!!
This is a BEAUTIFUL house!!!! I love your voice and how well you explained everything. 😍😍😍😍

This is what I had in mind when I was thinking tiny house for long term living, well done!
I saw this house in the tinny village at the Home fair in Auburn, CA and we love it! It's so well done and perfect use of the space. Really pretty 👍🏼
Thanks for coming by and seeing us!
I saw it there, too! Super build

I love this design almost as much as I love this guys voice, but my favorite is the multitude of windows.
Top five tiny houses I’ve ever seen
Thanks for the feedback!
I really liked the living room with a real couch! I think they could have added a foot of so in the lofts and still been road worthy. I liked the bathroom and kitchen as well as stair to main sleeping loft. Exterior was very nice as well, good job overall!
This one is at the top of my list! Gorgeous house!
This is an incredible amount of house in 26 feet! And the windows!

Amen! Thank you!👏 Feel the same way!👍
I agree 😂
I’m cackling at dream catcher!!🤣🤣🤣
You outdid yourselves. Good job.
I love the real sofa! Finally a real place to relax
Oh my! Oh my! Everything I want in a tiny house. So nice and well thought out. You did such a nice presentation. Love it 😍.

I can honestly say that TMH always has the best designed quality tiny homes and at the most affordable on the market .
I could listen to him all day. Dude should do voiceover work.
Looks beautiful and functional. About as nice as I've seen for 1 or 2. Definite consideration.
Such a beautiful house...... Great interiors. Doesn't seem tiny at all....
Definitely one of the nicest tiny houses I've seen!
By far one of my favorites
This tiny house is beautiful. It has so much storage space. And like another commenter stated, the bathroom is not right off the kitchen! Something I could live in comfortably.
I'm loving that pi symbol table in the living room! Someone must love math
Really cute layout, love the bedroom loft.whoever styled it did a good job. Very nice presentation, you'd make a good salesman👌
Lou was very giddy in this video! This house is incredible!
Amazing amount of storage and nicely finished. The area around the stove and stairs is awkward looking to say the least - and you need at least a little counter space around the cook top I think.
I’m in love with this guy...his voice 😍😍
Blown away by the living room😊
Wonderful house great design, the gentleman is an awesome salesman
Love it 😻 Love the red sectional.
You guys picked the best guy to do the tours 💯💯
Queen Charlz Thanks Queen Charlz, Lou started the company 😁
It made me happy when he got excited over the hippo😊

Thank you, Wayne!
Really made the most of the space! Beautiful design!!
This guy is charismatic.. it’s refreshing to see a salesperson who isn’t annoying. I’d take this place in a second. Looking for house in next 2 years. Tired of condo life. This is something to think about

Smart Modern ...Yet Warm & Inviting Like A Home Should Be 🏘🎗🏆
Thank you! I really enjoyed the presentation. Very informative.
You guys always deliver an awesome product. I love everything about this. Definitely in my top 3 to 5 also. Great job.
Efficient use of space. Love that they fit sectional & full size bathroom. Very nice. Wondering about cost
Your homes are gorgeous 😍😍😍
Love the kitchen, lots of storage.
Fantastic well thought out design. Great price too, worth it every penny. Such good quality finishes. You can see how some builders are just out to make a big profit with crappy design and low end finishes. You guys are a class act.
Nice presentation. Great voice!
Agreed! What a voice!! Love the house.
Nice layout, great options on bed and lounge locations. Needed to show using the two ladders, especially near the stove.
This is exactly what we've been wanting, but no one offered it. Placed a call and left a message!
coming up with combo kitchen faucet that's actually designed to swing out the window for a shower would be pretty sweet though...
Haha! I know right?! We are thinking about implementing those in our Hawaii models :)
Great post, great presentation & absolutely fantastic build! 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
Beautiful craftsmanship, beautifully designed and decorated. 💕
This is gorgeous!
Beautiful
I love the design especially the master bedroom.
Thanks so much!
Awesome Tiny house! Good work
On the flexibility aspect!
Gorgeous home congratulations on design thank you

Love what you've done!
Absolutely beautiful! 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Beautiful
would love the option of skylight and roof deck and a woodstove below?
We could definitely do the skylight but the roof deck would not be compliant with the RVIA code that we build to.
I like remove the front door and turn that huge picture window into double French doors to open onto a covered deck to extend to outdoor living space.
It is gorgeous!, I am in love. How do you have so much space in your build? Thank you so very much😀😀😀!

Beautiful Design👍
Have you considered the internal heating effect of propane/gas stoves? Would an electric conduction range perhaps be better for not increasing internal temps during summer? Just a thought. Love the layout!!!
Beautiful home!
I just found the tiny house thats perfect for me!!!!!!!! 😍😍😍😍😍
the PI table looks WOW!
P.S. Lou, you look like Lou Diamond Phillips. I really love this home.
The tiny house is gorgeous!
Now on another note, the marble is NOT Carrera marble, it IS from a region in Italy 🇮🇹 called Carrara.
Sorry guys, couldn't let it slide....😉
God bless y'all and again what an amazing tiny house❣
The windows are amazing, I love the rooms but would need more height in the master bedroom as I couldn't crawl. Plus, would rather give up one tall window to have a storage stairway wall. Could a microwave with exhaust fan in kitchen to outside? Thanks for the video!
Yes we good change the exhaust fan to a microwave range hood!
Cool!
Love this
Simply beautiful!
Love it!!! Very accommodating
Nice lay out but I would opt for a spiral staircase instead ur design everything else is great 👍🏽
Yes please!!🌸💕
Should have shown the use of the steps!
Man I kept says to him I dont car whats up with the library barn style stairs
We always use space-saving ladders in our show models :) We will do that on our next video we shoot Ray.
Hey Ray - we just uploaded the Mt. Baker to our channel and showed the use of stairs :)
Not sure about safety if they are that close to open gas flame stove!
A two bedroom loft is all you need in this tiny home. Best living space in this home to a great kitchen area
This ones insane!!
I wonder since I’m 5’7
And my girl is 5’9
If we could consider lowering the second floor so we could get some more head room up there
Gorgeous tiny home built to perfection.... I wonder how much it would cost to build this model?

Does the shower come with doors?
I love it!
Great bathroom, and well situated. For me, there is wasted space where there could have been more kitchen counter (in favour of two eating places it seems). And I personally prefer steps. Love the counter tops, tiles and general finish though.
Wow, would love the plans for this one! Am in Australia so can not build in the USA
dee6075 Hi Dee, unfortunately we cannot share our plans 😓
beautiful
You had me until you go the loft space. It's a well thought out floor plan. I think you should add spiral steps with rails and lift the ceiling of the loft area.
Queen Dionne they can do spiral steps in this model. It’s built to the travel trailer code and is at maximum height to be legal.
👍 Sehr gut gedacht ,
This is my favorite.
I just not big on crawling with my bad knees, yes it looks great but most people have problems wit their backs and knees
Take a look at the Denali XL - solves all the problems for those of us with bad knees and backs.
I hope you realize that a lot of tiny houses are custom built..
Cozy looking house! You could improve the sound a bit, the sound levels were all over the place - some times I hear loud and clear and the next moment the sound is so quiet I have to crank up the volume up and down
Our proper videographer is in California and we're here in Oregon. Trying our best Joonas. Thank you! ❤️
@@Tinymountainhouses trying the best is enough :) Thanks for responding and have a nice day!
questions: is it possible to build a tiny house where the lofts, not only have stairs to both.
Reaaallly nice!!
Great for plants!
