      The interior is so pretty, but I'm with you. I would need closet space for coats, winter/summer clothes, and shoes. Add in an umbrella, athletic clothing, and dressy clothing. What about sentimental items? A few. anyway!

    • @manicmuffin
      @manicmuffin 5 ปีที่แล้ว +8

      @@Well_possibly There is the armoire built into the cabinet, you can put a coat-hanger by the door during the winter, and storage for seasonal and special occasion clothes, etc., can be added in the form of a nice cedar chest or two placed up in the loft, the tops of which can also be used as shelf-space for sentimental knick-knacks.

      Super cute. Not sure if people living in a tiny house are living a lifestyle that demands dressy clothes and lots of sentimental items.

      Kim Gaines, just about anyone gets invited to weddings and other special events. Some people need to dress in at least business casual if not an actual suit.
      I'm guessing some people store clothes or athletic gear in their car.

      It looks gorgeous., indeed. :)
      He did say that there was room for putting in cabinets, shelves and such in the living room/space, and for ore seating (which could include storage space). Also, where the small shelf system is placed in the bathroom would have plenty of room for a decent-sized closet or somethink like that.

      You can start with a caravan that is livable and save and rent and if you like the land owners you can stay. You can do work on the yard in exchange for rent. Caravan trailer can be repurposed as the base for a tiny house it it's still structurally sound.

      @Planet Purgatory I need assistance with quantities of wood frames and all the other dimensions. Im not too worried about the accessories but the framework and what is needed to make one. I like this one in particular because it has most of what i wanted for a tiny house. I just need to add a few things here and there like storage, a bathtub, But I love the rooftop patio. I also need to know what type of a car can pull that tiny house trailer? What dimensions of trailers are we able to find. I know nothing about cars and trailers. Lol

I'm truly impressed by this build, including the rooftop patio, solar, wind, and spacious living areas. The kitchen is badass beautiful. @@adriendesauvanie8132 fire traps in comparison with regular building? How so? Also: is there some frightening statistics of people burning in campers and cabins or where does that particular concern come from?

    • @LetBBB6345789
      @LetBBB6345789 5 ปีที่แล้ว +15

      @@adriendesauvanie8132 Hi Adrian, I did not see your comment as an attack, I was just curious why you consider them a particular fire hazard and your reasons for being particularly concerned with fire in an isolated standing house (more than in any other house or apartment).
      I did not see any cages in this house, but lots of doors and windows, access to the roof (which is not so high that you could not jump down from if need be). I am not against your concerns or if you did not want to (risk) living in a tiny house, I am just curious why you (and some other people) seem to think it is more of a fire hazard than others.
      Probably also interesting to see: your concept for a tiny house with reduced fire hazards and lots of (additional) fire exists. Only so much space in a tiny house and if there was a serious fire that could not easily be extinguished a tiny place like this probably would be up in flames and smoke in seconds or few minutes anyway. (not different from a regular room though and again, question is how relevant that would be for most people: house burning happens much less than traffic accidents yet most people get into cars not worrying what could happen)
      I am not sure what you mean with the moral high ground. I don't have any, also there is no moral involved here, I think :-)
      All "friends" here and to each their own

      @@adriendesauvanie8132 Hi Adrian, good for you, I guess? My question, coming from pure honest curiosity, remains why you see such a fire hazard in tiny houses in particular. Guess, electricity, all that can - and mostly doesn't - lead to issues in bigger and more confined places. Really just curious here.
      I live happily in an apartment and consider a tiny house an option for future moving,not sure yet though, am just a fan of minimalism, nature and practical use of space.

      I'm always wondering: it's either stairs (which take up much space) or ladders (which are sometimes cumbersome to use, especially for a sleeping loft where you might want to change linen etc.). What happened to the good old spacesaver staircases (aka paddle stairs or alternating tread)? Those would combine the best of both worlds.

    From their site: "A home ready for a Canadian winter with proper amenities can be around $125,000. The price will depend on the size and options chosen. For example, making it off-grid capable adds about $15,00 to the price of the home. Building the tiny house out of steel studding (to make it lighter and able to be pulled by smaller vehicle) adds about $10,000." Probably CAD, so $95,234.38 USD.

From the people I've talked to the have them, they don't tow as well as an RV though, if that's your thing.

    I like how these guys functionally solve the issues of easy use of living space combining modern architecture style, independence from the urban environment and the opportunity to enjoy the wonderful views of mother-Nature outside the windows of this tiny home. It would also be interesting to know how they solve the issues of insulation/heating of the house in the winter. Thanks for the great vid, like and subscription. Cheers from Siberia, Serge. : )

    Looks so good The kitchen and bathroom is gorgeous and probably the best I've seen to date on any home! My only issue with most tiny houses are the upstairs bedrooms. I just don't like all the bending, crawling and slouching that's involved.

    I think a bird protecting cage around the windmill fan is the only thing I'd add. It's a great little home.

    I liked the mural behind the bed...it felt like you could lean pillows against it for better relaxation in bed while watching tiny house videos or whatever. I agree with him about the fridge being built over the wheel well next time...the half drawers on the other side to compensate for the wheel well was smart.

      Melanie Melendez I would need less kitchen more living room space. This living space just wouldn’t cut it. Also need a eating space. It’s a gorgeous tiny house nevertheless

    This tiny home is beautiful. Honestly, I could easily live in this on a nice piece of property.
    The only concern I have is that rooftop well. When it pours down rain, I'b worry so much about that eventually leaking and getting into my home. I'd probably forgo the deck, and opt for a porch that is added on.

    This is an impressive design.
    Windows are amazing, and this house has plenty.
    The kitchen was perfect, even if you cook and bake a lot.
    For, long term living, which I want to do in a Tiny House, I would like a little more room in the living room are, just to make sure there is room to have people over, and sit inside, if it’s raining.
    That said, the windows in the living room make it feel like you’re outside.
    Tall ceilings in the living room also make it feel bigger, so I prefer the sleeping loft be over the bathroom.
    I love the idea of getting electricity through solar and wind. That’s the way to go.

    For the rooftop exit I would have chosen a sliding hatch, like it is used on boats. This would have allowed for a completely flat deck (because the stairs would be on the inside). It should be quite simple to get it waterproof as well (after all: boats). The inside stairs could have doubled as storage drawers.
