I'd have to disagree. He wasn't holding onto it very tight or bracing himself against the recoil very well. He also nearly dropped the weapon when it malfunctioned into "full auto". The RSO had to grab it to keep him from letting the weapon push him back and the muzzle started to point at an angle to the right. I've had the same thing with a first time shooter. First round she freaked out and almost dropped my rifle. I had to catch it.
The dude on his left is the biggest malfunction there. Never hangout on the left of a shooter. Firearms always have a tendency to drift left and up if not controled properly. Edit: For right-handers.

It's sadly not that easy, most semi auto guns can run away. But in most cases that happens because of overheat, caused by too many rounds in a given timeframe. And yes, I had to add this, even though I assume it was just a joke.

@@FULLMETALCAR no it couldn't. The gun is designed to be run in full auto anyway and if it keeps firing cartridges that means the bolt is still going into battery which means it's still going fully into lockup so there is almost no chance of a catastrophic failure.
I think it was a broken sear spring. A buddy of mine had an "extra" spring after cleaning. We went to a range and found out that it went native with a 5 rd burst. The arc of the shells were beautiful to see

A friend of mine had bought an AK74U pistol from someone local. We went to the range to shoot and he brought it to test out. It did this exact same thing! The range officer came running over it was crazy. He held onto it a little more composed than the guy in the video as he's a firearms instructor and prior military. But it was crazy, turned out someone had filed something inside the gun down and it made it run full mag dump auto.
reminds me of that infamous case of the little girl first time shooting a full auto uzi(?), ended up hitting and killing the shooting instructor. But this one's a mechanical failure.

@@FULLMETALCAR no it couldn't. The gun is designed to be run in full auto anyway and if it keeps firing cartridges that means the bolt is still going into battery which means it's still going fully into lockup so there is almost no chance of a catastrophic failure.

I think it was a broken sear spring. A buddy of mine had an "extra" spring after cleaning. We went to a range and found out that it went native with a 5 rd burst. The arc of the shells were beautiful to see

A friend of mine had bought an AK74U pistol from someone local. We went to the range to shoot and he brought it to test out. It did this exact same thing! The range officer came running over it was crazy. He held onto it a little more composed than the guy in the video as he's a firearms instructor and prior military. But it was crazy, turned out someone had filed something inside the gun down and it made it run full mag dump auto.
This doesn't happen anymore they patched that in last month's update.

@@seal_388 because the range officer that got killed wasn't smart. He let her take like 2 shots on semi-auto and then flipped to full auto. Thats just being a bad range officer. Kids can't handle the unpredictable nature of a full auto and he ended up ruining both of their lives by being an idiot.
