Love the fact that there's no editing and you keep all the shots in. It's real golf. Shit happens, no-one died. Deal with it. And smile. Thanks for another great video Jimmy
best advice i ever got from your videos is the saying HERE TO HERE not the count down your doing now but HERE TO HERE has cleared my mind and let my body take over
I did a practice rd before my member member tournament, and I was in a bad way the ball was going everywhere I didn’t want it to go. I watched this video the morning before the tournament and played well. The best I have ever placed in that tournament. Thank you Tropicana golf. I appreciate your content for us weekend warriors!!!
Jimmy, played in a league Thursday afternnoon, been watching you and advise on swinging, posture and grip. Yesterday I played better golf than I did 25 years ago. When you can hit a three wood 280 no need for a driver. This was off the deck no tee just pure swinging tempo as you demonstrate.
I played today with this single swing thought. Two birdies in first 7 holes! I was hitting shots pure and straight. Ended with an 83, best score all season at that course, and that was with a couple tough breaks on lies. Can't wait to try again tomorrow! Thanks!
Your putting tip on keeping your head down and letting the putter head follow the line has made SUCH a difference in my game! I can now pretty consistently sink putts in the 6-10’ range just following those two tips. (Also getting the line using the straddle the line and feeling the up/down right/left) Awesome sauce! 👍🏻👍🏻
This is a great tip and so critical. I force myself to keep my eyes fixed on the ball thru contact and be looking at the ground after the ball is hit even if only for a second. It keeps my head locked in place and has made a world of a difference.
Didn’t play well today. Kept hitting left (I’m left handed) and didn’t make good contact. Head not staying down could be the issue and also I don’t think I was swinging through and pointing club head towards target and finishing. I felt like I was hitting the ball and collapsing my arms to the finish. Great videos Jimmy!
That's very useful advice, mate. I went out to the driving range on Friday and had the ball on a string until I started getting excited and swinging for the trees. Your KISS principle works! I dialled it back once I turned off the juice!
Brother I played bad last Saturday and got back into your videos and went today and played really well. I appreciate your videos and it's really helping me!!
Retired, being able to work a lot on my game. I'm in a Tuesday league, moving up in the rankings and vying for the year end club Championship. I usually Don't play on weekends, more money and most of the time too slow. Love your channel
Jimmy love your videos man! Can you do one soon about ball and feet position and where you place it depending on the club your using? Keep them coming!!! 📹📹🎥🎥
Ever since I discovered this channel, I’ve incorporated the philosophy of keeping the ball in the fairway, and going up a club or two and swinging easier. The last few years, I struggled with breaking a hundred (actually, breaking 110). The last game I played, while I still didn’t hit everything perfectly, I didn’t go into meltdown mode. I took on the one swing thought of keeping the ball in play. By taking away the worry about shooting a par, and striving for five strokes a hole, I finally broke a hundred. I am looking forward to continuing to improve. The goal for this season is to stay under 100, and shoot in the 90s. Once that goal is solidified, my goal will be to shoot in the low 90s consistently. Eventually, I will break 90. Thanks for changing my perspective about the game!
Essentially he's saying stay down in your swing, struggled a ton with this concept but it is most essential and simple, just have to discipline yourself to do it.
Interesting. Would love to hear what you are doing with your wrists to generate speed and power. And what's happening with weight shift? Thanks. I sometimes find as I concentrate on my head my weight hasn't shifted properly and my hands have kept the clubface open and I shank everything. Suggestions???
Hey Jimmy I almost broke 80 yesterday with your method I missed a birdie preventing me from breaking 80. I used a 56 SW to chip my 56is lethal around the greens.
Two great golfers in the 1990s, Anika Sorenstam and Greg Norman who were both number one at the time… did not keep their heads down, they actually moved it with the club! Just saying.
So how many people can hit a 6 iron 190 yards? 90% of ALL golfers NEVER break 100. They say they do. But bet everyone who says they shoot in the 90s $100 they can’t break 100. You will get rich. Just tell your victim NO mulligans, NO gimmes, NO moving the ball for a better lie, and make sure they DONT write a six when they get a 7. Etc Etc. don’t get me wrong, I love his videos but they are NOT realistic for the average guy. I took my survey of 16 strangers over a few months. When i was paired with a stranger, I always asked, what do you shoot? Answers I got were low 80s, mid 80s, high 80s and lastly in the 90s. Out of the 16 golfers only ONE GUY broke 100. He shot a 94. Sorry Mr. Tropicana , it’s just NOT the easy game you make it out to be. But I’m still a fan😉
What I get is that you have to work on all the principles of a good golf swing.....at the driving range....and do it repeatedly. When at the course, hopefully you have the basics ingrained....so the swing is simple. For me....the simple thoughts are....take your time with backswing and complete it fully....and remamber to bring my shoulder down and through on the downswing. Everybody has to have their own simple thoughts. What Jimmy does...is what Jimmy does. Being a copycat...is generally not a good thing. Gotta have your own simple limited thoughts. When Jimmy tries to ingrain his own thoughts in others, he's mistaken. Everyone has to find their own way.
Love your stuff, but this is bad advice. Most bad golfers try to keep their heads down and then blame all their bad shots on their head lifting. Rather - don't worry about keeping your head still. Rather focus on staying relaxed (like Jimmy says) and getting your body moving. If you do this, your head will stay still, but not because you are trying to do so.
Love the fact that there's no editing and you keep all the shots in. It's real golf. Shit happens, no-one died. Deal with it. And smile. Thanks for another great video Jimmy
Wow!! Ball almost went in Jimmy !!! That was a Beautiful chip shot !!
Keeping my head down has absolutely helped my game. Very noticeable when I don't.
its a big key to hitting the ball well. thanks for watching. -jimmy www.tropicanagolfshop.com
We need this kind of human more in this world. Super positive attitude toward golf game. Thanks Jimmy.
Another solid tip that is the foundation of the golf swing. Thanks for the reminder Jimmy!

Amazing feedback. Happy for you. Thanks for watching. -Jimmy www.tropicanagolfshop.com
Thank you so much for this advice! It seems too simple to be true, but I've played 2 of the best rounds of my life!
Its true. Golf is easier when you smooth it out. Thanks for watching. -Jimmy www.tropicanagolfshop.com

Followed your advice for high handicappers on a previous video.
Played my best round ever yesterday!
Thx
Hi Jimmy, one important thing that I take away from your videos is confidence to
play good golf using your techniques. Thanks, Ron Pagliaro
Jimmy, I tried your method this past weekend and it was a success! I just have to get used to my ball going straight!
Right down the middle. Thanks for watching. -Jimmy www.tropicanagolfshop.com

Keep the head down and the ball stops going left. Trust me. Thanks for watching. -Jimmy www.tropicanagolfshop.com
Pointing club head towards target has made a massive improvement to keeping my ball more on target , no more army golf ie left right etc 😊
That's very useful advice, mate. I went out to the driving range on Friday and had the ball on a string until I started getting excited and swinging for the trees. Your KISS principle works! I dialled it back once I turned off the juice!
Love this video, 2 swing thoughts, great stuff
Brother I played bad last Saturday and got back into your videos and went today and played really well. I appreciate your videos and it's really helping me!!
Thank you for your channel Jimmy. I will try to keep this lesson in my head while im out playing tomorrow
The ball almost went in, Jimmy ❤😮😮

It spun out of the whole!!! You would've loved that one!

Wow Jimmy that chip shot went in and out if the hole. Great shot.

Swing to a nice full finish your wrists will do what theyre supposed to do
Jimmy, very happy I found your videos. With the driver - where is the ball position? Middle of the stance? Thx
In front of forward foot - angle slightly toes towards direction
Shot tracer, would help us, maybe.
Great video, as always.
KISS,keep it simple sammy.
Subscribed! Great tip 🎉
45 on 9 holes this morning using this tip. Would’ve been a better score, but three 3 putts… Still a good score for me though.
Thanks Jimmy.
Thanks!
Thank you Robert!! Appreciate you
Beautiful pre-round video lesson. Who teaches YOU this stuff?
Hey Jimmy I almost broke 80 yesterday with your method I missed a birdie preventing me from breaking 80. I used a 56 SW to chip my 56is lethal around the greens.
I’ve been watching your vids for a month I already dropped 5 strokes
Keep it on the grass and keep moving forward.
Love u jimmy
here to here works for me
For your swing thought, where do you place the ball? Middle of the stance for all clubs? Maybe on future videos put the camera face on.
Good advice my bad shots come when I don’t see the the ball as I hit it.
I’m no homo but I love him 😂 and his teachings
"Swing to your waist, and keep your head down." Words to live by. Other words I live by are, "Never rat on your friends, and keep your mouth shut."
I bet you about died when you went back and watched that chip shot. Great golf there buddy.
Another easy way to play golf is to make solid contact and hit it on the clubface sweet spot.
You got it! Thanks for watching. -Jimmy www.tropicanagolfshop.com
Sometimes I forget, and things go wild. Lol😅
I can hear the words of my late father here "Son, keep your head down and your eye on the ball!"
Two great golfers in the 1990s, Anika Sorenstam and Greg Norman who were both number one at the time… did not keep their heads down, they actually moved it with the club! Just saying.
Cool. 2 people out of the hundred of thousands that have played. Jack Nicklaus says keep your head still and down. Ill take his advice
What wedge is that at 69? Would a 56 work similarly?
Great video btw! Love your simple approach to golf.
No. 69 get the ball much higher and softer. Its a must! tropicanagolfshop.com/products/the-69-wedge
I’m GOING to do this:
Keep my head DOWN
Swing to waist.
(+ I have happy feet -- that need to 🛑 that 😂)
Love to the Coolest MFer on the golf course!!!

Kinda… if you dont focus on a specific item nothing will happen. If your head goes left, shoulders go left, ball goes left
