- Drilling clamp holes on DIY welding table
This fourth part involves drilling holes in the top of the table. Something that proved difficult and time-consuming with the limited tools available. The initial idea was for the holes to be 16mm, but due to inaccuracies, they ended up being 18mm

Your channel is interesting
Great job! I have "Güde 20105 Mobile Welding Table MST 915" but it is just a toy. I want to make table like yours. What is the thickness? I think to buy magnetic drill and Weldon drills or should I put plasma cutter on my cnc to drill all this holes? Is it better to drill holes or to do it by plasma?
The thickness of the sheet metal is 6mm (I couldn't handle anything heavier with the tools I have). A magnetic drill would significantly ease the work. If I had one, I would use a sheet of greater thickness. I think the plasma cutter lacks the precision of the drill. I would prefer the magnetic drill...... *In the next few days, I will upload a video with the entire construction, and I will publish detailed plans and dimensions.
