As someone who is still in the beginning stages of learning Russian, I am BEYOND impressed and encouraged. To see another person of color speaking Russian was awesome to see. I would definitely like to see more videos of you guys speaking in Russian to each other! Good job Victoria!

@@LivingLifeWithTheShirins I am also person of color(African-American), learning Russian. I have been learning Russian for about 3-4 years now. I understood 95% of what was said. It is indeed great to see a sista learning the language as well. Not everyday that you run into chocolates that are able to speak the Russian language....at any level. I enjoy watching you all both. 🙂

as a spanish speaker, I understand her problem with a foreign language, I can hear english, I can read english but I can't speak it properly, in my defense I've never trying to learn english in my life, I just learning it unconsciously by watching movies, playing videogames or listeng music.

I studied Russian in high school and later in college. I'm an American so I little exposure to Russians. But I met an "East German" lady who struggled with English, but was fluent in Russian and German (of course!). We were best of friends and helped each other.

Victoria you are GOALS!!! You speak well! I can totally relate with not knowing a lot of Russian words but I can read really good! I've "studied" (mostly self-taught) for over 5 years. Learning to use the correct pronouns can be really difficult for me. Now I have Russian lessons every Friday online with a teacher who lives in Saint Petersburg. Keep up the good work and you'll be fluent in no time! I can't wait to see when you have children and hear them speaking Russian- it's going to be so amazing!!! Also- do you have any tips on learning Russian that you can share?

Wonderful video. I’ve been learning Russian from my girlfriend for the past 5 years or so. We speak conversationally all the time, now. Victoria knows more vocabulary than me, though. But, Russian is a work in progress. It’s a difficult language with a lot of vocabulary when compared to the langs. I know (Korean, some Spanish, English) and it takes dedication and immersion to learn well.

Beautiful couple but I cannot speak fluent with any foreign language but I can speak with my hands with the deaf because I'm hard of hearing myself. I encourage yall to keep the communication openly from the bottom of your ❤️💙.

Victoria you should be so proud with the amount of Russian you know. I have been learning Russian for nearly 10years and I still can not speak nor write in Russian very well. My grammar is really bad. I can understand and read Russian but that’s it. So all I can say is that you have learnt so much in 3 years and it sounds like you can sound like a pure Russian one day

You are the cutest couple ever.🙂And I love it when you make videos together. I think I commented on a different video of yours months ago and said the same thing ; It's so helpful to hear her talk. She is very good, but since she is not native and is still learning, it makes it much easier for me to follow the dialogue. I have been too depressed to actively learn for several months, but these past two weeks I have been in high gear and learned so much. I understood several sentences and words in your dialogue that I would not have been able to translate just a month ago. Every day, I am talking to myself in russian, since I don't have any russian speakers to talk to, I do my inner voice in russian to the best of my abilities :P
Victoria inspires me to speak Russian even more! I've been learning for years, but I am afraid to speak it. Watching her progress is so inspiring! Keep up the amazing work!!!

I loved this video! I've been learning for a little over 2 months, and listening to you guys talk was good practice for me. Definitely do some more of these in various settings!
Victoria did very well, and you all are right, fluency will come with continuous use. I'm thoroughly impressed, and Fedor is very patient and helpful when needed.
Victoria's Russian is great. At least it is for me who am a beginner. I am impressed. She is an eager student. I keep thinking I'm not learning very many Russian words, but when she speaks, I can pick up a lot of her words that I didn't know that I knew.
I hope I'm not out of place to say this, but she is very beautiful, especially with her hair back, it lets her face show. Plus, she has a terrific personality.
And, Fedor, I can't get over how much you remind me of my youngest son, Robert. You look alike, talk alike, have the same gestures and mannerisms. He doesn't speak any foreign languages. He fixes heating and air conditioning.

One un-request advice, to your beautiful children, speak only Russian at home except when doing school homework. Do not worry about English, they will learn it socially and formally in school.
