Guess that post gentleman's agreement has given it the power it needs to reach that ideal power to weight ratio and it became successful depite being almost as heavy as an American muscle car. How did sales actually went in local market? Did it sold better than the R33?
Tsukuba is a very frustrating track. Never enough room to pass for really fast cars, and slow cars have to be exceptionally smooth to preserve momentum to be able to pass.Very tight, very slow

No Radicals downforce is superior, that's the main reason why it's so fast compared to other lightweights

近年はニュル最速がどうのこうのを謳うけど、一般人じゃそんなポテンシャルを引き出せのは無理。
ブレーキングとか基本的なドライビングテクニックを磨けるのがライトウエイト。
どうやったら早く走れるかもちゃんと考えられるので、ドライバーも育つ。
また馬力だけの直線番長をカモれるのもいい。
ローパワーのが街乗りで踏めるって利点もあるらしいねぇ…

重いから軽いかなら、どう考えても軽い方がいい。
GTR以外タイヤ垂れてない。
ただ、ガチな車にすると、快適性だのなんだので、市販車として成り立たなくなるから、重くなりがち。
マクラーレンF1みたいな、採算ガン無視な車が恋しい。
