We should learn how to listen and learn. I have listen to the two of them I can't say either of the two is wrong but for Pastor Kumuyi,by mine understanding Pastor Kumuyi has not condemned the woman but only teach his own people that dressing like deeper life is not enough to get anyone to heaven and he is saying people should start dressing in a worldly way. I don't think there is any other pastor in this country that has preached against worldliness more than Pastor Kumuyi. No direct mention is made of anyone in this message. The Pastor only cautioned against reliance on revelations from doubtful sources as the basis of one's faith and practice. In doing this, reference was made to recent instances of such revelations which by inference people believe is about one sister Linda. Pastoral work is likened to that of a shepherd and no true shepherd will sense danger without taking some measures to protect his flock (John 10:11,12). That is what Pastor Kumuyi has done and he's absolutely right. Shepherds who failed to this had caused their flocks to go astray(Jer. 50:6). There is chaff and there is wheat. Dreams and vision are the chaff while God's word is the wheat(Jer.28:25-32). You can survive on the wheat but never on the chaff. Pastor Kumuyi, who has been in the ministry long before those now trying to teach him through dreams and visions were conceived, knows this. I am therefore surprised at those criticising him for preferring God's word to testimonies from near death experiences even when such testimonies flatter his messages and ministry. Some other Ministers would have latched onto them to further project their ministry but instead, this selfless man of God spoke in a manner that appears to put down his ministry in order to project God's word. He should rather be commended than condemned for his noble posture.

Repentance of sins is a lifetime of works, and has never saved anyone or contributed in any way to salvation. If repentance of sins helps save you in any way, then it had better be perfect repentance. God's standard is absolute perfection. Not even one sin is allowed to be in Heaven. The book of James says that if you follow the whole law and offend in one point you are guilty of all. Oops! So much for repentance of sins! Jn 1:1. and God exalts/magnifies His word above all His name or any revelation from any man or anywhere(Psalm 138: 2b) . This is the faith ONCE DELIVERED unto the saints ( the Holy Scriptures) - no addition , no subtraction or complements by any revelation. It is as serious as that. The moment u get SAVED, a journey begins. We took an action to get saved. The action continues after salvation. Pauls called it A RACE. And u know somebody in a race is not static. He is moving, aiming at something. JESUS said, "STRIVE to enter.... for many.... would want to enter but will not be able". Paul in the Epistle to the Hebrews admonished that we "WORK OUT our SALVATION with fear and trembling". Yes, we are saved by Grace, and we didn't contribute anything. We should learn how to listen and learn. I have listen to the two of them I can't say either of the two is wrong but for Pastor Kumuyi,by mine understanding Pastor Kumuyi has not condemned the woman but only teach his own people that dressing like deeper life is not enough to get anyone to heaven and he is saying people should start dressing in a worldly way. I don't think there is any other pastor in this country that has preached against worldliness more than Pastor Kumuyi. You are a really man of God pastor
No direct mention is made of anyone in this message. The Pastor only cautioned against reliance on revelations from doubtful sources as the basis of one's faith and practice. In doing this, reference was made to recent instances of such revelations which by inference people believe is about one sister Linda. Pastoral work is likened to that of a shepherd and no true shepherd will sense danger without taking some measures to protect his flock (John 10:11,12). That is what Pastor Kumuyi has done and he's absolutely right. Shepherds who failed to this had caused their flocks to go astray(Jer. 50:6). There is chaff and there is wheat. Dreams and vision are the chaff while God's word is the wheat(Jer.28:25-32). You can survive on the wheat but never on the chaff. Pastor Kumuyi, who has been in the ministry long before those now trying to teach him through dreams and visions were conceived, knows this. I am therefore surprised at those criticising him for preferring God's word to testimonies from near death experiences even when such testimonies flatter his messages and ministry. Some other Ministers would have latched onto them to further project their ministry but instead, this selfless man of God spoke in a manner that appears to put down his ministry in order to project God's word. He should rather be commended than condemned for his noble posture.

The same God used visions and dreams to warn even heathen Kings in OT. Sis Linda has not said anything against this great man but ministry, pointed a paralysis in your congregation, giving an example just like Jesus pointed out the reproofs in his church with this phrase "However I have this against you" (Revelations 1,2,3 to the seven Churches) not sparing her own self but offered a direction, instruction and solution as instructed by Christ himself.
Your ministry needs a reproof of an impending compromise against the spirit of Jezebel and that is called pruning according to what she said. She is fulfilling her mandate purpose and scripture in Joel 2:28-32.
Pray to God to raise prophets who you can uphold but are true and God's own to check you or ask God to release the Gifts of the spirit. I believe that God intentionally sent His message through Sister Linda because the today's so called Men of God are no longer preaching about the eternal horror that awaits men in hell if they don't make heaven. And what lead man to hell is sin. And now that our Men of God are too busy preaching about prosperity, that's why God Himself decided to take action by sending people to hell to witness what it's like at first hand. Then the message is brought down to us for us to change our ways in order to make heaven. Period.
One thing I know is that God is greater than all these Pastors combined no matter how powerful and great Orators that they are.

Now let me inform you, there are now many people like sister Linda, and even if she's right and she received revelation. Some things one needs to learn how to communicate them without causing problem, because God is and can never be an author of confusion. Do you think God will give her revelation to cause confusion in God's church, and when I say God's church , I mean the whole body of Christ,not just deeperlife. Don't you call pastor Kumuyi a prosperity preacher, he is far from that. And make your arguments from the word of God. You can't be living your Christian life on, maybe God sent her, or I believe. So in a conflicting situation like this, even if you want to support sister Linda. Find a way for it to be biblical, if you can't, then don't criticize her and just keep following God as you were. But don't come and explain a while bunch of arguments for Linda and against kumuyi without any biblical backing, and based on sentiments like, most pastors are fake, they only want to eat money. The worst part is, these pastors, you haven't even heard their sermons, or listened to their messages, but you're criticizing them on sentiment. How would you like to love a righteous life your whole life, and God sends you to hell based on what people in your profession or tribe normally do, without ever considering you personally. Criticizing a man, be it pastor or ordinary man based on sentiment is not fair. You can pervert justice and kill a just man in the court of law on an assumed offence, just because maybe the man is Fulani, you assume he is a terrorist, no naw. Many people are deceived for their lack of knowledge - Hosea 4:6. If many had married their bibles, then, they wouldn't be deceived by Linda's acclaimed deceptive revelation of truth and lies mixed together. What the servant of God is saying is truth. He has not rejected their Testimonies but is exalting the word of God as it is. He does not want to promote is church as if it is the only church preaching truth. Neither is he promoting churches that preaching vanity. He is preaching the truth that sets us free.

People keep thinking that God would rebuke his servants in public. If God himself would disgrace his child in public because he is not following him, people will stop listening to that man of God. Now, let's say he repents, will God go and convince every body to come back again and listen to that man he disgraced himself? IF God does not rebuke you in public when you sin, why should he do it for his ministers knowing how difficult it is to raise one minister for his work. Let me first of all refer all to Jude vs 3 which says believers and all God's minister should "earnestly contend for the FAITH once delivered to the saints" When Christ came, He said "greater than Solomon is here", the very Wisdom of God himself . Christ assuredly is greater than any man, pastor or prophets like Moses, Samuel, Elijah e.t.c. the reason God buried the body of Moses Himself so that the Isreali will not be worshipping him and /his grave. At His baptism and on Mt of Transfiguration, God spoke and said "This is my only beloved Son in whom I am well pleased, hear him (Mt 3:17, Lk 9:35) . Now Christ is speaking to us today though His word as God spoke to the fathers thru, the prophets.(Heb 1:1). He is the Word of God personified. Jn 1:1. and God exalts/magnifies His word above all His name or any revelation from any man or anywhere(Psalm 138: 2b) . This is the faith ONCE DELIVERED unto the saints ( the Holy Scriptures) - no addition , no subtraction or complements by any revelation. It is as serious as that. Now the word of Christ guiding people's lifestyle should be quoted as 'according to the Scriptures and not according to Sis Linda or Pastor Kumuyi. The attention should be on Christ and not man and you can judge who is contending for the faith among the duo then. Thank you.

@Kunle Jinadu. My brother, the Scripture is replete with admonitions for christians to do something about their salvation. SALVATION transcends just getting SAVED. The moment u get SAVED, a journey begins. We took an action to get saved. The action continues after salvation. Pauls called it A RACE. And u know somebody in a race is not static. He is moving, aiming at something. JESUS said, "STRIVE to enter.... for many.... would want to enter but will not be able". Paul in the Epistle to the Hebrews admonished that we "WORK OUT our SALVATION with fear and trembling". Yes, we are saved by Grace, and we didn't contribute anything. To remain in grace, we need to deploy acts of grace. Keeping SAVED or remaining in GRACE is a conscious act of will. And we achieve this by faith. Distractions abound.
