God is about saving souls, not appeasing people's egos. She is saying what God has commanded her to say, to save his soul and that of others. Humility and prayer for confirmation of her message is what is required. Remember many people were called in the old testament and in the new testament to prepare the way but were called blasphemers. The Lord Himself gave this stern warning to all people, see Matthew 10:34-37. If I were in her shoes, my fear would be in God more than in man. As long as she is true to what God has told her to say, stick to it. Why should you go all the way to explain yourself? When you are truly sent from God you care less of criticims. Even Jesus was criticized. God is about saving souls, not appeasing people's egos. She is saying what God has commanded her to say, to save his soul and that of others.
