- This is the lost footage that we had been trying to retrieve from a crashed hard drive for the past month. Big thanks to Dany Nekho for doing what a lot of other computer wizards weren't able to do.
5 Ways has been one of the most enjoyable and satisfying courses we have taken. We happen to come across it on a very wet day which made it a lot harder to get up.
The 2 patrols would of also made it up much easier if they had deflated tyres so it wouldn't be fair to to make a direct comparison from this one course. However the triton is a beast for doing the majority of it and its short wheel base and light frame definitely were and advantage this time around.

Love the way you drive, slow, assess, slow, assess. Not like some others, like a bull out of a gate. You play with what you have and don't whine about it. Who cares about lockers, you have fun and that is what it is all about.
I agree it's rather refreshing to watch guys actually drive properly yes maybe the tritons are pretty stock but they seem to go pretty well . Welll done guys

I have just recently got myself a 2015 MQ triton exceed. It has a lift kit, 31 inch muddys, snorkel, ironman bullbar with scrub bars and side steps, ironman rear bar with towball, ironman 12,000 pound winch and an oricom 80 channel uhf. She is a beast.

you obviously know a thing or two to understand the videos never do the course justice. looks so simply and easy in the videos lol we look back sometimes and think why arnt we getting up ? but thanks buddy appreciate the comment 👍
Great to see you back out again. I took the plunge and bought an L200 or triton as you guys call it in OZ.
So far I’ve got a 2” suspension lift kit, 31” tyres and a snorkel 😀

A rear locker would have help in these situations, but excellent effort from a standard Triton, great cars.

easy with that locker.....still no idea why they can't give them a decent TC system though. the Paj has got a great TC system. I'd love to get a hold of the mitsi engineers and ask them what the hell where they thinking?! can't just be tuning for crying out loud....must be something like the ABS pump motor sizing, i.e. it can't generate enough pressure to hold the spinning wheel as tight as it should!? anyways, great vid as usual, really enjoyed it!
We wish it had a decent TC system it Could be the light weight in the rear just doesn't allow the wheels to really stick to the ground either way it sucks haha, glad you enjoyed it bud!

Foot down bounce sideways and risk rolling you reckon. Or maybe a little lower tyre pressures, can tell you dropped them but still looks too high.
Need a bit more air out those tyres. Id be going to 22psi maybe 18

Hey bud try looking In to mud Tyers and I locker I got a lux 4 inch lift 35 and it goes most places also what tyed presher u running maby let some more out I run 15 psi in the front and 10 in the rear never popped a bead
I use to pop beads easily at 20-22 psi with my old 285/70r17 setup on 9” wide rims.
Since changing to 305/70r16 on a 8” wide rim I run em at 15psi no dramas and take them down to 12psi if I need to. Makes a massive difference.

I asked the same thing several videos ago - George confirmed it's a knock-off/imitation MCC Rear Jack Bar, by PS4x4. Apparently not as hardy as the real deal MCC units.

should of got a ranger then you get a rear diff lock at standard would of pissed it just some of the spots you got hooked up on where the rear diff open wheeled could of done with a locker

Really enjoy watching yous, but you're kidding yourself if you think a triton or any ute will outdo a patrol or landcruiser.
I have mq black edition and driven them all, the hilux is the best off-road heaps off articulation but still falls behind the patrol and landcruiser. Most of the time it all comes down to driving...
