Thanks - you're one of the first to give some PSVR 2 on the PS5 Pro feedback. Please continue with these videos as other games get patched. Sure hope GT7 is one of them.
@loudoesreviews it is one of them, whether the vr mode will see the benefit remains to be seen, but I will cover it as soon as the patch is released. I did cover no mans sky already..
I’ve tried it last night it feels super crisp even before a update, especially the mirrors (incredibly clear now) , I spent about 4 hours in gt7 psvr2 on my pro, it just feels loads better 👍🏻👍🏻
Thanks for the review. You are probably one of the first if not the first one to test a PSVR2 game on the PS5 pro. Looking forward to more and can’t wait to get my Pro.
Also even though GT7 and Re4, other games are not patched, I wonder if there just might be any difference even if slight. I really hope all developers get on board with patches and goodbye to Reprojection more than anything else
No not yet been playing the horizon remaster and kayak vr going to try it later but as far as I'm aware there won't be an improvement unless it gets a pro patch.kayak vr really does look a lot better tho.
There was definitely reprojection, motion blur has been one of my biggest issues with psvr2. This is a game I didn't play too much of because it genuinely spoils games for me, I do try and ignore and and just enjoy the game but I guess some people are more sensitive to it and I've always just been disappointed that a ps5 can't run some games without it. I do hope they can do the same with re8/re4 so I can have the same reaction in those games and enjoy them all over again.
I just read a message from gamertagvr and he said that they did update kayak a little while back because of reprojection but there was still ghosting from persistence. I didn't know this since I didn't play the game a lot coz of the reprojection lol. But there's no reprojection or ghosting of any kind in the pro version.
This looks awesome, your reaction says it all really! I really want to know if PS5pro will enhance GT7 on PSVR2..it's already fantastic in VR, and the pro could make it even better! The pro-patch isn't live yet. Hopefully they will say something about this soon..but this video gives me hope!
I tried grand turismo today on my pro and yes there’s still re projection also no improvement in detail. Kayak vr is very crisp and clear I could see it in the pool with the flamingo floating so cool 👏🏼 need to get that dlc for sure
The Costa Rica map just makes me really excited to play Hitman 3 in VR next month. Gonna spend so much time just relaxing on Haven Island and enjoying a tropical holiday.
Just so people know, I've noticed vastly notable improvements on PSVR2 games that aren't PS5 Pro Enhanced. For example, I have very strong VR legd, but I could only play Happyfunland for short spurts, as the reproduction made me nauseous. However, now on the PS5 Pro it is soooooo smooth with a higher resolution. Also, as I ordinarily have no issues with reproduction, I play Into The Radius using 'Quality' mode with reproduction (as the graphics are so much better), but it's so, so much better. I guess that with the Pro these unpatched games are constantly hitting the highest frame rates possible while remaining at the highest resolution within the dynamic range. I was expecting to be so amazed by unpatched games, but I'm finding the differences transformative. I currently have 177 PSVR2 games, and while Ive not had a chance to go through them all, the ones I have I'm seeing obvious improvements across the board.
@jayr3053 I did indeed try Vertigo 2. In fact, it was one of the first games I tried. The frame rate is buttery smooth and, while still retaining a soft image unenhanced for the Pro, it clearly hits the top end of its dynamic range constantly. Call of the Mountain looks stunning unpatched on the Pro, with the reproduction being so much better and less intrusive, and I would love to see that enhanced.
I've tested village and there is still reprojection. For some reason re4 keeps crashing and sending error report so I will have to sort that before I can give it a go. I'm not sure the pro patches are live for either of the res evil games tbh as there's no news about it launching on the store page but I will keep checking.
Looks awesome. I hope many more games follow suit, especially Metro which woukd be great to drop the reprojection since it also doesn't have eye tracked foveated rendering.
@ORGAN1X for some reason re4 keeps crashing before it confirms my vr boundary. I've tried re8 and gt7 but I'm not sure the patches for those games are live yet.
Base PS5 runs Kayak Vr without reprojection too. Direct comparisons back and forth are needed as seen in NMS recent update performs brilliantly now on base PS5 with PSVR2 but many are attributing that to the Pro, when it’s not
@The-Real-Mr-Bond NMS has had a pro update and does look better, I've not played the ps5 version since Aquarius update and it still looked trash from the world's update. I'm not trying to convince anyone to buy a pro I'm just reporting on my honest experience. I've been disappointed more often than not with psvr2 and expressed that in videos so I'm not here to cheerlead for it.
@Unclog_my_gamecat_backlog I tried cyube yesterday and it seemed bugged. Like half the world didn't load in. I'll let the dev know on the discord and hopefully it will be fixed. There was still ghosting/motion blur on the hands and environment too.
@Unclog_my_gamecat_backlog I tried cyube again, did a video. The bug was minor. If you've mined or built in an area, the area is kinda invisible until you walk over to it and it comes back. I do explain in the vid though..
I feel ya, brother. My Pro arrives tomorrow, but i'm still looking to spend about 3K on a 4090, because VR has its hooks in me that much. I have to play these big AAA UEVR games like Cyberpunk, Red Dead 2, GTA V, Silent Hill 2, Dead Island 2, etc. Hoping Black Friday or the Jan sales can help me save a few hundred quid, but its mad how much i'm willing to spend for the love of VR. 😂✌️ Will be testing 'gameboost' on some non Pro-enhanced titles tomorrow, like Into the Radius, Vertigo 2, and Green Hell. Fingers crossed we see some frame improvements. 🤞
Folk saying the same games are right, they are, but the games I’ve played so far run a lot smoother and the system overall is generally faster. Is that worth £699.00? Ok, the difference in the color of water or ice? Pro doesn't bring any enhancements in this area, so they either just tweaked the color in an update that has nothing to do with pro version, or it's a strong case of expectation bias overall. Jaggies on trees are indeed annoying, good that they've taken care of it.
@@MrDeathwishVR And that's great. Thanks for that. Good to know that the overall resolution has had a bump up.
