Hey everyone, these clips were all taken shortly after Dredge was released so there's a good chance you'll spot some inexperienced plays and early opinions that are sure to develop further down the road. Also, SBMM isn't a problem for just the top MMR players, Forsen's match is a great example of what newer players have to deal with as well. Lastly, the intro got copyrighted so it's up on my Twitter for anyone interested. Thanks again for the 10k Subs!
I think the biggest problem with mmr is its working, at least a little bit I can play a game of killer out play every survivor at every loop and still get destroyed not just beaten DESTROYED by mediocre survivors who can get away with bad plays because of crutch perks and horrible map imbalance the MMR just brought these problems to the surface I'm hoping bhvr fixes their shit I can't even play my favorite killer anymore cause most games are just million pallet maps and crutch perks then I play a match destroy the survivors and still lose 0 to 4 this game is WAY too survivor sided I get matched with people that would give me great games if they had no second chance perks but instead I get dh ds bt and adren on all 4 survivors so they can just make shit plays the whole game and win while I make 1 mistake and the entire game is lost its not right I hope this perk overhaul helps a bit if it doesn't I'll be done with dbd I'm sick of punishing horrible plays all match to just get destroyed by bad players

Got the dredge day 1. Never did that for a killer before. Was excited. Then had to wait 5 hours cause I’m on PS4. Then after a single match, I go back to sweats and 3 dhs everygame. The hype died down for me after that
Yeah, I had that too. I wanted to be able to play the new chapter before I had to go to my surgery because I was going to be knocked out for the rest of the day. Needless to say, I was very disappointed specifically at the devs. Who could release a new DLC and allow a problem like that slip through? That's completely unprofessional in my opinion. Anyway, my day 1 hype was ruined and I'm ALWAYS there for the new release, even back to Stranger Things when I started playing.
@@omega5455 With all due respect, that's just excusing them. The "It's BHVR, what do you expect?" type of comments that deflect the need of accountability. They literally don't take accountability for their unprofessionalism.
I'm glad that this entire chase happened because she fucked up and I got punished for it." That describes the entire game for me. You have people unironically calling Dredge "well designed" and its map balanced. I'm starting to feel like when survivor mains call a killer "well designed" or "fun to go against" that's survivor speak for "easy to beat".
That's precisely what they mean. They don't play as killer at all, they only play as Survivor, and if they can easily win chases and escape said killer the majority of the time, that means the killer is balanced and doesn't need any changes, cause they can't deal with Dead Hards and infinite loops and such.
He's like blight. If you play him enough, he's good. If you don't, he's bad. But who the hell calls garden of joy balanced? I played as survivor and the killer could't catch me because of 4 god windows in main building + good connecting loops.
You just gotta love the new player experience in DbD. You get send into a map because of map offerings and can't do anything because people are sweating, bringing the best stuff like it's some kind of tournament for money.
Holy shit the dead hard clip where the guy says “I get punished for a survivors mistake” Perfectly described dead hard as a perk. Horrible, HORRIBLE design.
honestly as killer, my least favorite combo to go against is dead head+stypic agent medkit, cuz then it takes 4 hits to down one survivor if you don't use a killer that has an instadown ability
Meanwhile on both the Steam and official DbD forums: "Dredge needs nerf", "Dredge's kit is too overtuned", "Nightfall too strong", "Unlimited teleport too strong", "Anti-looping with the remnant has no counterplay", "Locking lockers doesn't have enough of an impact and can only be done once per locker (even though this strictly isn't true for lockers that are right next to each other since the devs force Dredge to always teleport to the one of the bunch that has been locked)", ... But hey, the devs in their wisdom and deep understanding of their own game certainly won't humor those threads, they won't throw out knee-jerk nerfs with the next mid-chapter patch... oh, who am I kidding? That's exactly why I didn't get Dredge yet, not even for shards - it looks interesting but Survivors didn't complain this much about a newly released Killer since Pinhead. Getting a Killer that will most likely see somewhat unjust nerfs sooner rather than later just doesn't seem worth the grind of leveling him up and unlocking 7 pages worth of perks, especially since his teachables aren't exactly meta-redefining either (like Blight's who I originally only unlocked to get the original Hex: Undying for my other Killers). I'd rather put the 1.7 million BP I saved up + another 2 million for the upcoming grade reset into stocking up Anniversary cakes on characters I already own, looks like the better move to me - and that's kinda sad.
This game is in a """"balanced"""" state, and by using the word "balanced" I don't mean it gameplay wise, but game-population wise. This game is survivor-sided and you don't need a master degree to see that (beware, I'm saying survivor-sided, not saying that playing killer means losing all games). And at this point I'm sure that this is not something that BHVR is overlooking or ignoring. Instead they purposely made the game like this. For every killer player, you need 4 survivor players, otherwise you can't play. So, on one hand you have survivor players that have the potential to bully killers and win with ease (compared to winning as a Killer), and on the other hand you have killer players that keep alive the game on Twitch or something else. Sure, you can see the classic "Watch me bully this Huntress" video on TH-cam, but on Twitch it's way more fun to watch someone playing as a Killer instead of someone playing as a Survivor. If BHVR decides to ACTUALLY balance this game and removing the whole concept of "Survivors bullying Killers", lots of Survivor mains will leave the game, which means longer waiting times, which means more people abandoning the game, which means the game will be dead (not actually dead with 10 active players, but definetly not worthy of either investing time or money on it for lots of players). It's such a shamebecause this game has the potential to be a really funny and entertaining game...
Survivor mains will complain about anything, I only listen to people that actively play both Survivors and Killers, but BHVR seems to favor Survivor players more than killers, so just like Sadako, this killer is gonna end up pretty useless.
My first few games as dredge I had constant SWF's and sweats and it's making me just wanna pull that SBMM plug and just throw it down in a volcano that's about to erupt.
@@omega5455 oh I know it is it’s so rare for me to get a game where I can chill and relax as killer the ranks were so much better back than not perfect but, better than an MMR mess
That's what I don't understand, I get 6k + hour swfs with Dredge and keep losing, but as a full meta Nurse on my 20th win streak or whatever I get babies
@@pizzaduffy i nver understood the reason why the game needed an MMR system the old rank system could have been more than enought just remove the black pip and make the normal pip a little harder to get maybe instead of 20 ranks have or change nothing and just see how that works than add 5-10 more ranks look how that goes would have been alot healthier than what they have done now.
I love Dredge, and seeing all of this is so painful, especially since there really doesn't seem like a ton of counterplay most of the time unless you're just cracked out of your mind with the best perks ever
Dredge isn't that great in individual chases, but he's good at macro play like patrolling the map and finding survivors to initiate new chases. IMO there are three main big points that are key succeeding with Dredge 1: He can make some pretty novel "thinking with portals" three gens that survivors might accidentally lock themselves into if they don't think with portals. 2: He's good at abandoning chases and finding someone new to chase. That may not sound good but it's an important killer skill to know when to give up a chase. Maybe they're just too good at looping, maybe they're about to reach too strong of a tile. Hell, in this game they might be legitimately cheating. Knowing when a chase isn't worth it is important, and for most killers it takes a while for them to find someone new after leaving chase. But Dredge can just blink away to the other side of the map in a few moments to look for easier fish to fry. 3: He's really good at proxy-camping hooks. Assuming that there is a locker near a hook. He can hook someone, teleport across the map to tie someone else up in a chase, and then return to the hook once the survivor is unhooked. That's three survivors that aren't doing gens at that instant. One on the hook, one going for the save, and the one tied up in chase. Then ofcourse you can tunnel the unhooked guy and it won't be long until the other team is down a man and suddenly good looping becomes less valuable. Hooking someone in shack basement can be particularly brutal since Dredge will always be waiting at the top of the stairs. So basically Dredge is good at finding the weak link and tunneling them out of the game. That's not a nice way to play, but we both know that playing by the survivor's code of ethics is a recipe for the killer to lose if the survivors know how to play.
One word that sums up the first day of the update "sweat" the new map looks nice but it feels like playing in the game map 2.0 plus dealing with mostly swfs.also i tried testing Sbmm by going on a 15 game lose streak as killer but that's pointless since after i did it i had another sweaty team three dead hards, Bt, Ds and deliverance and got outplayed for the fourth time by the deliverance and ds player but still got a 3k, overall my thought on the new sbmm system is that it doubled the sweat as killer and increased the chances being partnered with new or unskilled players as a solo que player.
The main building of Garden of Joy is absolutely busted. Yesterday I ran a Legion for almost 3 gens (in total chase time over multiple chases) just on 3 strong windows, I only needed to drop the God pallet when I was injured and he almost got me... almost. Every time he came back at me I ran straight into the building (which you can do because a lot of gens are sprinkled around the area so the moment you see him coming you just leg it in there) and the window vaulting continued (always switching up the windows I'd use so it would take ages until the Entity blocker applied to all of them) until he decided to leave again to look for someone else. Guy was a good sport, told me "I looped him good, wp" but I was just being honest by telling him that the main building is a f-ing joke and that anyone could've kept doing what I did, my plays there were nothing special or skillful. "overall my thought on the new sbmm system is that it doubled the sweat as killer and increased the chances being partnered with new or unskilled players as a solo que player." I second that. I used to lower my Killer MMR from time to time for the sake of both my fun with the game and my sanity but since the SBMM change this doesn't seem to be viable anymore. You can legit let all Survivors escape 20, 30 matches in a row and notice no discernable change regarding the next Survivors you'll encounter... except when the game suddenly decides to throw (in my case) a player of 5k hours usually running yellow/brown or no add-ons but a full meta build at a team of people who don't even have full tier 3 perk loadouts yet even if you played against a full-on meta squad on Coldwind (where they sent me to as well) in the previous trial and killed 3 of them (raising my MMR instead of lowering it). It's all over the place and in my opinion the current matchmaking is the worst we've had... possibly ever.
I hope they bring the bots in december on custom matches so that we can test out new killers, perks and maps without stressing out too much and be chill once in a while
i honestly believe this killer to be (relatively) weak, he just suffers from the meta due to him being an m1 killer, and his remnant teleport is too niche and is countered by the shift w players, and his locker teleport is nice and all, but unless you need to immediately hop across the map, assuming there are even lockers in the area, it doesnt help too often
Not all TTVs sweat, most people play it for fun, they just play it so often that they have no choice but be efficient. You can meet some nice people by just going into twitch channels after games and saying hello, and good game. The way you type out your message, makes me believe you are the toxic individual here.
@@mrragecage9312 TTVs dont want to look bad in the eyes of their viewers and they play sweaty , fast paced way just like any other job you hate, my experience with them is very bad and usualy end with 2 outcomes : 1 they won and i was annoyed after match because of way they played and Second when i was winning and they rage quit and throw some toxic shit on my Steam profile after that - they should change their job

Genuinely something I've never understood is the 4 mans who, bring an offering, bring full meta load outs, bring juiced up items, play loops only if they know they're 100% safe, and focus on gens only. You know they're just doing that game, after game, after game. At some point you just know that every match has to feel the same. How is it even fun for them anymore?
This video is sad. They spam EZ on these new dredge players. They don't even know how to play the killer correctly and they're taking advantage by sweating on them. Idiotic game design.
I personally love this spooky dude, he makes the game actually feel like a horror game. The fun you can have scaring folk in lockers and the reduced visibility is so much fun~
I don't really camp unless people are being toxic and the gens are flying, to me if you can loop without using Dead Hard, you're a good Survivor in my book
Haven’t touched this game in months, I want to play it but I already know what’s going to happen so I just don’t bother. Sucks cause this game used to be really fun to me and I’m literally just a casual DBD player.
I took 2 days to get Dredge's Adept and man, it was painfull. So, so, SO many Dh, DS, BTs, map offerings that the hype for the new killer died pretty quickly. And I dont know about you guys, but I gonna start calling the new map "The Garden of Pain",because that map has way too many good setups+ the main house that seems like a infinite. If this chapter flops it woundnt even surprise me
i still havent gotten adept dredge. ive gotten a 4k with full iri emblems, double pip and 31k points and apparently that still wasnt enough for adept. i know higher grades mean harder adepts but thats just ridiculous lmao
I found the killer very creative and fun, but the map was literally the worst map they've released in years, it manages to be one of the worst maps for killers I've ever seen in the game
Ok I cannot be the only one at this point that thinks the dredge's lunge is slightly short. Every time I swing that on any other killer would hit just doesnt on him. Is that just me?
6:55 / I agree with Umbras' statement. If the game became killer sided, dbd will die. A majority of DbDs' funding comes from survivors & especially new players.
Let it die then. The only thing keeping it alive are the licenses. Evil Dead is already much better and there are multiple asymmetrical games that are coming out. So BHVR might’ve gotten the ball rolling on asymmetrical horror multiplayer but they will be competing for a top spot in about a year or 2.
@@lazlo686 Evil Dead is incredibly fun to play but unfortunately almost nobody wants to watch it. TrU3 has pretty much been carrying the game on Twitch but once he stops the community is most likely going to shrivel quite significantly. It's pretty sad as I find the game to be very entertaining.
That's the problem with the game, the devs would rather lose a killer player, than lose 4 survivor, so they keep making the game be survivor sided, even if part of the community doesn't accept that, it's the reality, ask any professional dbd player whether or not the game is killer sided and they'll laugh at you
Sweat team 6: claudette you doing OK over there?? Claudette: no ima need body blocks all I have is about 22 pallets a God window ds borrowed time dead hard and adrenaline I might not make it out
Mmr has been fucking brutal for me too, but it's strangely mostly on dredge decked out to the ninth with the most efficient loopers. When I switch to spirit however they became babies. I only lost 1 match in like 30 something matches.
New killer during the PTB seemed interesting so I really was looking forward to the new chapter, played on PS4, so I had to wait for some stuff to get fixed to actually fucking play the damn game, so Im already in a sour mood, play the new killer, and it's just "hold W" lobbies with full meta perks with 2-3 BNPs every game, then I just remembered that it's Dead by Daylight and not a single person cares about the new perks for survivors so everyone just uses the same shit every game and I just get off DbD for the day completely.
@@gabrielemonaco8118 I think everyone agrees that the meta we've been using for literal years is boring as fuck, and the only time most survivors use different shit is when it's a busted AF overtuned perk that shouldnt have even made it to live servers anyways (Boil Over for example).
Forsen's gameplay hurts me, never uses the remnant teleportation once on the loops. But i suppose if he never knew about the killer beforehand i suppose its kinda obvious why.
The gen rushing and survivors speedrunning the game is making Killer fucking miserable. Only pressure I could ever apply is to tunnel or camp. Other than that. You'd be lucky to not get a swf and get a 4k
@@Attention.. That's not genrushing, that's just survivors being efficient and you not applying pressure. One gen takes 80 seconds, 3 survivors working uninterupted on one gen each without any toolboxes will yield this result.
@@Attention.. That's the horribly designed game. What do you expect survivors to do? Repairing gens i literally their objective and as long as they don't bring 4 BNP and Prove Thyself, you can't talk about gen rushing. That'd be like teling you, the killer, not to chase, down and hook. Actually you are really fast if by the time you hooked the first one no gen has popped. You should be proud.
Looks like my first games as the dredge. I'm trying to be patient as I learn him, but the survivors don't let you. I've already heard some crying nerf already. The killer needs to be bully-able for them to like them. Perfect example, I heard a survivor complain about "space or sky" Billy being nerfed. Why? It's because it's quite easy to bully him, but no one plays him anymore, including me. I'll paraphrase what they said as their reason. No one plays him anymore as it is, he did not need another nerf! Although this is a true statement, I know that they enjoy giving Billy a hard time in chase( They being a streamer that I will not mention). I see SOME people are getting relief from the latest SBMM changes, but not me. I am wondering if some streamers are down ranking off stream, but they will not admit it. thanks for the video :)
I feel like everyone had really hard games at first with Dredge. I think maybe they artificially set the base mmr really high? I dunno, but that's my take.
7:10 It wouldn't be so frustrating to see them remnant in a corner of the map where the survivor is out of position at a loop that can just be played normally, if it wasn't immediately followed with LUL NEW ARTIST
To be fair in lower ranks he is quite good. However when you start going up against people who have memorized loop layouts and that don't need to relay on sight then he sucks...
In lower "ranks" (I assume you mean MMR), every killer is good because nobody has a fucking clue how to play the game. Give me 4 survivors who have 30 hours each and I completely obliterate them with Clown on The Game without perks and 5 gens left. However, give me 4 survivors with 3k hours each under the same circumstances and I am lucky to get one hook.
i laughed when that girl said the game would die if it wasnt survivor sided yet the game is dieing already cuz both survivors and killers are sick of the devs being to afraid to take risks with buffs and nerfs but what do i know i stopped playing when they nerfed deathslinger and myers since playing them for fun is too stressfull
Thing is when dredge came out i have not seen 1 person use the new survivor. But big shock they stick with their good 2000 2nd chance perks. I cannot wait for that perks overhaul because the meta is so stale for both sides.
Well, when killer mains keep saying that tunneling and camping is the easiest way to win, it's hard to really expect survivors to not run whatever they can to not be tunneled and camped, since being tunneled and camped isn't that much fun either. You're not wrong about the overhaul though, I'm hoping it'll finally shake things up a little.
@@DawnIgnited Yeah true. But the way bhvr has dealt with camping/tunneling was awful which is why the meta is so stale in the first place. Perks like ds bt shouldnt exist if they balanced the game right. But perks like dh and noed shouldnt exist at all.
@@Yonel6969 Agreed, which is why I don't let the second chance perks bother me so much with the way the game is inherently imbalanced, and in turn goes back to that age old question of, "why does DBD need MMR again?" In any event i clearly need to run into more gamers like you since I've been enjoying most of the new perks this patch.
@@DawnIgnited I try to do the same but when i get hit with noed/dead hard it bothers me so much. You outplay someone then boom hard work gone. Unbreakable bt ds yeah its annoying but it is mostly avoidable.
I usually run Darkness Revealed, BBQ, Jolt and No Way Out on Dredge and I do surprisingly well in most of my games. If I wanted a more mean build, I'd run pain resonance, pop, bbq and Jolt
I'd be fine with playing survivor more if the gameplay loop, or rather the 'optimal' plays weren't so boring and uninteresting. It's fine if people want to play survivor, I'd rather have SWFs trying to chase me than slam gens like they're in Hexy's BotB tournament. One time I had a four man on Rotten Fields continually Head On-ing me, and not once was I upset. I was more than willing to engage in that war of attrition.
Interesting. For me it's the other way around. I'd rather have them sit only on gens and end the misery fast than follow me all game, click like hell, try to do head ons and generally be annoying pricks. Unfortunately, often I get both in the same game.
This game is so survivor sided it’s not even funny. Survivors have better perks and more (16 to the killers 4), better add ons, more survivor sided maps, fast gens (with a new gen speed perk), god pallets & god loops on almost every map and a majority of the killers are just trash. It’s hard to have fun in a game where you know you’re coming with a huge disadvantage…
It's funny. I've been playing Dredge quite a bit and he is VERY overrated. He's mid at best. At least Artist can still punish pallets drops, isn't blinded when using her power, has better map pressure with long range birds, and isn't slowed down as much while using her power. The only time Dredge is decent is when nightfall is up. You can actually see people when holding right click, his tele doesn't take a century, his cooldown isn't years, and he's actually pretty good. They should just make nightfall effects base besides the darkness. Or at least most of it. I mean he already has the locks for counterplay.
Honestly this killer is good for mindgaming survivors around pallets but it doesn’t fit with the current meta we’re all the survivors just kind of Insta drop and hold w across the map with Dh
Honestly with decent add ons I don't find him that bad. The purple add on with the nightfall at the beginning and at the end as well as the green add on where nightfall last longer or the yellow add on where he breaks locked lockers in no time makes him quite decent in my experience
Why I started using killers with no perks, cause when I lose. I can’t get mad cause i put myself at a disadvantage and if I win these trash carried survivors can get mad they lost to a killer with no perks💀 Also make the boat key should be basekit
It’s honestly insane what dh does. I mostly play without it, but I do have a build with it in it. And the difference is incredible! Going from 2 chances, to having 3! By pressing a single button. It’s honestly ruined like half the killers for me, mainly since like half of them are m1 killers. Then again CoH did that times ten so idk. At least for dh they said that they’ll fully rework it. But surely they’ll use the perk update to rework CoH as well. Otherwise any m1 killer and killer with a decently weak chase ability, like demo or pig, will still be unplayable against just decent survivors.
i dont agree with umbra's philosophy of "this game is designed to be survivor sided". people forget that this isnt just a game where survivors escape the killer, but equally a game where the killer has to prevent the survivors from escaping. it's an asymmetrical game, one side isnt meant to be stronger than the other, both sides should have an equal chance of success. this game has devolved from "survivors hiding and running from the scary killer" to "killer has to try wrangling 4 wily cats into a box before they break free"
Yeah I 100% agree. The game used to be killer sided. And survivors also arent entitled to wins just cause there the majority. Its a symptom of a broader sickness for survivor gameplay (how they litterly have 2 things to do at any given time). Her mentality is kinda wrong imo. She says the game would be dead in 3 weeks. But look at the killers which is the actual problem. That being half of them quit the last 4 months or so.
Im not saying killer needs to be stronger but the survivor entitlement is dumb. The killer is essentially the dm. They are the host of the game. Its important that they have fun. I also have a hard time believing survivors would quit even if you nerfed there perk options tk oblivion because there would still be only 4 killers capable of beating the run in a straight line and predrop every pallet strat
I think Umbra means that if every killer had the power of nurse/blight, survivors wouldn’t want to play the game. Survivors make up a majority of the player base since its a 4:1 ratio. That’s why new killers like dredge and sadako are weak.
"both sides should have an equal chance of success" That's the keyword here, SHOULD. In a perfect world both sides have an equal chance. But that is just not possible or at the very least incredibly hard to achieve in an asymmetrical game. So from an economic standpoint it does make more sense to slightly favor the bigger number of players which is the survivor role. However, Bhvr clearly pushed it too far and now it's going downhil for everyone.
@@slash618 that makes sense. Admittedly a good team can still beat all those killers. Nurse is a bit busted but the others imo are pretty fair. Its tough to get more than a 2k with even the good killers against a organized squad. Consistently i mean. Its like a 50/50 thing mostly. Maybe a little killer skewed for nurse at most. But tournament nurses arent winning 75% of their games just sayin.
I’m so tired of trying to have fun on Legion only for me to get a ginormous map with all the survivors spawning on 4 different gens and then when I catch them they instantly run into an unbalanced loop and when I do outplay them they simply use dead hard and get to another loop with yet another pallet all the while everyone else is still doing generators and even if I purposely lose chase early to stop them then the person I was chasing immediately goes back to the generator and two gens pop I’m done. Worst part of all is that I can’t even use my power
PTB of Artist made me feel she would be a Nurse lv, however very soon people get to just abandon loop. She's still insane sniper. But Dredge is somewhat worse. W will negate his antiloop and map pressure won't really matter if you don't down anyone. Feel like Nightfall will be the strongest part of his kit. Thought he might be decent A, but now I think he's even bellow Twins. So let's say a top of B. Against casual teams he might be good, but thats just a small portion of players. And he will be quite boring once surviros just hold W.
My god the devs must have brain damage because who makes it so that you can only teleport to the locker thats locked anyway. Survivors can use 2 adjacent lockers 2 times, by basically only using 1 lock to close them both up then once that lock is broken you use the other lock on the other locker next to it to lock them both up. Can't even teleport to the open one right next to it.
@@sthepcorms6747 honestly even on maps that have like no lockers whatsoever. You can still utilize him pretty good. Along with his anti loop. Could just be me, but I haven’t had any games that have shown much significant weakness
Haven’t played this game in around 2 years now. Never heard of this killer before either, so it intrigued me. Seems the counter play is very basic and easy. I do like the locker thing. I was wanting a killer who could do that since I started playing. Take away the safe haven lockers were. Of course I was a baby then, and the game was much different then as well. I think it fits the core targeted audience, that being casuals. At the top level not many killers really stand a chance. The dredge being another addition. Since casuals is their targeted audience, survivors will probably always be at the highest level, the strongest. It’s sucks but it’s something everyone needs to accept. If you want a strong killer there is always nurse. If you’re a good nurse you win, same as if you’re a good swf. I think ppl just need to play both sides more tbh. From my experience, those who only play one side are usually the most toxic and or frustrated.
If the devs don’t nerf dredge, then after the mid chapter patch where all the perk reworks and changes come out, along with the new prestige system then I think dredge will really benefit from this, because personally I think dredge is quite strong, but since people are learning the killer, who knows my opinion can change
As a survivor main, I really don’t know how people never get bored of always only using ds, dh, bt, etc. I usually run a lot of solo, but if I’m with friends I’m always trying to find builds that are not just the same old “Killer close so I press E” or “Get in locker for DS”. I usually run Lithe + Dance With Me when I’m with friends or maybe a little head on build but I do get so bored of these meta builds. And also I understand why killer mains get mad about getting sweaty survivors when trying to test the new killer, but honestly that last game the killer seemed more entitled to me. Just how often he called them sweats for trying to save each other and running him for a while. And I get why he was mad but I’ve also had plenty of sweaty killers since the update so idk why he’s acting like every single killer main is trying to test the dredge. Idk is just the perfect way to describe the state of this game
Damn, I didn't know Forsen also played DBD when this killer came out lol But yeah, aside that he's never this talkative, he usually doesn't enjoy playing this game since almost all of the survivors he goes against are streamsnipers.

I disagree with umbra. The game used to be hella killer sided.and when the game felt scary and before everyone realized the gamey nature of dbd (like how theirs two things to do do gens and run the killer, the grid style map etc). Im not saying it has to be heckin killer sided. But I am saying it would not kill the game thats a super wack comment imo. If the survivors had fun matchs they would be more than fine dying. Its when your sweaty sitting on a gen 4/5ths of the game and you lose due to a lack of control and on tol of that you had litterly little to no fun. I had my best game in ages solo que. I died but it was so fun I dont care tbh. We all were body blocking the killer and being annoying slugs with unbreakable breakout and boil over. Anyways moral being game does not NEED to be hella survivor sided. Survivors arent entitled to winning. And umbra litterly said it herself no one plays killer. Which is actually killing the game with these ridiculous que times. Anyways nice vid have a nice day yal hope you see it my way!

That describes the entire game for me.

Perfectly described dead hard as a perk. Horrible, HORRIBLE design.
honestly as killer, my least favorite combo to go against is dead head+stypic agent medkit, cuz then it takes 4 hits to down one survivor if you don't use a killer that has an instadown ability
Meanwhile on both the Steam and official DbD forums:
"Dredge needs nerf", "Dredge's kit is too overtuned", "Nightfall too strong", "Unlimited teleport too strong", "Anti-looping with the remnant has no counterplay", "Locking lockers doesn't have enough of an impact and can only be done once per locker (even though this strictly isn't true for lockers that are right next to each other since the devs force Dredge to always teleport to the one of the bunch that has been locked)", ...
Yet survs swear the devs only listen to killers
Thoughts on the 40+ perks the devs will "adjust"?
Survivor mains will complain about anything, I only listen to people that actively play both Survivors and Killers, but BHVR seems to favor Survivor players more than killers, so just like Sadako, this killer is gonna end up pretty useless.
tbh my only complain is nightfall
My first few games as dredge I had constant SWF's and sweats and it's making me just wanna pull that SBMM plug and just throw it down in a volcano that's about to erupt.

Where are these fucking people when I’m playing survivor?

yeah, dredge is so much fun as a survivor to go against but as most killers, pure frustration to play as.
Just wait till survivors figure out the dredge auto teleports to the locked locker.
IMO there are three main big points that are key succeeding with Dredge
1: He can make some pretty novel "thinking with portals" three gens that survivors might accidentally lock themselves into if they don't think with portals.
Love that you put your own clip in this SBMM video. Sweat-Team Six cam is just too funny!
Hope your having an amazing day reeny 🤗💖🐷🐽💕
"overall my thought on the new sbmm system is that it doubled the sweat as killer and increased the chances being partnered with new or unskilled players as a solo que player."
I second that.
You are one of the few dbd content creators that doesn't make me cringe, thank you for this.
I hope they bring the bots in december on custom matches so that we can test out new killers, perks and maps without stressing out too much and be chill once in a while

Exactly!
i honestly believe this killer to be (relatively) weak, he just suffers from the meta due to him being an m1 killer, and his remnant teleport is too niche and is countered by the shift w players, and his locker teleport is nice and all, but unless you need to immediately hop across the map, assuming there are even lockers in the area, it doesnt help too often

Out of my 30 first matches with him I only lost twice and I am as high MMR as it gets. Play better.
@@Antarctide If you play on evening even if you have high mmr you will take surv lobbys with 40 hours each of them
Thanks for the new gobble gobble videos love seeing Mr farmer and yourself in these videos ! Hope your having an awesome day 🐷💖🐽💕
His powers are so bad I can't even believe
i laughed when that girl said the game would die if it wasnt survivor sided yet the game is dieing already cuz both survivors and killers are sick of the devs being to afraid to take risks with buffs and nerfs but what do i know i stopped playing when they nerfed deathslinger and myers since playing them for fun is too stressfull
Auto liked. Hey Choy did you get to try VHS yet?
THEY NEED A TRAINEE BRACKET JUST LIKE HUNT: SHOWDOWN
That is the greatest thumbnail of all time
Not to sound awful, but had the first guy been playing dbd long?
Not long at all but still got the full sweaty meta experience
@@TheOnlyChoy yea I stated a new account when it was free on epic within 4 killer games was against sweats again
I watched forsen from his elden ring streams, well clips from montages. but I didn't know he played dbd too.
Honestly this killer is good for mindgaming survivors around pallets but it doesn’t fit with the current meta we’re all the survivors just kind of Insta drop and hold w across the map with
Dh
I didn’t even know foresen played this game
Honestly with decent add ons I don't find him that bad. The purple add on with the nightfall at the beginning and at the end as well as the green add on where nightfall last longer or the yellow add on where he breaks locked lockers in no time makes him quite decent in my experience
I would pay for a monthly subscription to never play RPD ever again
So that one add-on that breaks the locks in the endgame, what if it also broke the locks when the closest gen popped?
Everyone, are Haddie's default head piece recolours glitched or something? They have to be changed in someway if you're getting charged for them!
It's the same thing they did for Jane. Maybe the eye shadow is different?
Why I started using killers with no perks, cause when I lose. I can’t get mad cause i put myself at a disadvantage and if I win these trash carried survivors can get mad they lost to a killer with no perks💀
Also make the boat key should be basekit
I did the same thing with Oni the other day XD
"both sides should have an equal chance of success"
That's the keyword here, SHOULD.
Survivor have to loop exact same way as playing against artist, just hold w
Yeah...I'm Just Waiting For The Prestige Rework Patch Just to have FUN With the Game
This killer needs Save The Best For Last to make him bearable to play, he's so pathetic and powerless otherwise.
Not really, no. Sloppy is more useful than STBFL and I rarely even use it. Still sitting on a 90% winrate so far with him.
@@Antarctide what build do you use? I average around 70% win rate using Corrupt, Pop, Save the best for last and BBQ
This killer is actually pretty damn strong…
@@VelhaTheOne It depends on the map, on certain maps it is C tier, in some A tier, and at the end of the day, it gets a B tier
Can you make more sbmm?
If the devs don’t nerf dredge, then after the mid chapter patch where all the perk reworks and changes come out, along with the new prestige system then I think dredge will really benefit from this, because personally I think dredge is quite strong, but since people are learning the killer, who knows my opinion can change
it somehow hurts to watch every time. hope the meta changes fix something
we love a salty killer
Idk is just the perfect way to describe the state of this game
ok,. the first person just made a tonne of mistakes. I don't think it was bad MMR rather than just bad
Damn, I didn't know Forsen also played DBD when this killer came out lol
But yeah, aside that he's never this talkative, he usually doesn't enjoy playing this game since almost all of the survivors he goes against are streamsnipers.
I don't understand y every streamer was wasting time by breaking pallet when u can use ur power
Sad to see behaviour killing their own game update by update, never actualy fixing any actual problems the game has
Is umbra dumb she goes is that tinkerer when she has tinkerer equip haha so smooth brain😂😂😂 7:54
Notice in the thumbnail everything is dead hard which sums up to be the most meta op bullshit swf perk literally use it to dead hard to a pallet or just waste the killers time more
I disagree with umbra.

She's right about something, the only reason this game is survivor sided, is because devs take into consideration the new guys equally to pro players, and it just doesn't work, the new guys don't have enough experience in the game to get a professional opinion about a competitive game
