As to ‘why’ Layne touched Geoff’s hair - it hasn’t ever been said but I tend to think he is teasing Geoff about being ‘pretty’ as opposed to intimidating (as Geoff sings about how intimidating he is). Gaston is a part that Geoff tried to get at Disney World but he was not ‘big’ enough physically so didn’t make the cut.

In character terms, Layne could have been playing LeFou, the sidekick who is enamored of Gaston, so this move would be in keeping with his complete admiration of his pal. Geoff has two short covers of “Friends on the other side” and “Trust in me” both incredible. Both his and VP’s shorts are highly underrated and often missed.

After I read this I went through all of my VP playlists and it is not there and I know I saved it because it was hard to find. The only thing I could find when Qofy reacted to it. When I clicked on the credits and clicked on the video it says it is marked private. I’m not sure what happened but that’s the only way you can see it because Qofy reacted to it a long long time ago.
