  • It's another long video, however with this you should be able to completely disassemble the transmission, variator, weights, belt, and clutch.
I have been playing with the Variator weights in the Royal Alloy GT150 and will make another video with my thoughts.
This far the 11 Gram has been great, but I find acceleration with the 1/2&1/2 11 gram and 10 gram weights may be the best setup yet!
    Tools Required:
    Philips screwdriver
    10mm Socket
    8mm Socket
    Extension
    Rachet
    17mm impact socket
    5 inch impact extension
    Large impact driver
    Blue Locktite (Medium)
    Sharpie

Hi, great video. I am in UK and ride a GT125 air cooled, are the principles basically the same for my scooter? Thanks.

Great video, how much of a difference does this make?

Improved rideability, a bit quicker off the line. Overall, I have no scientific basis. Thinking I should take it to a drag strip test and tune day and test out all of the weight options with some hard data

I have the same scooter the royal gt 150 2020 and did not ride it for some time . I tried reving it a little to much it was dying if i did not and i guess i melted something metal that came out in the back of the bike .
Looks like the material that the clutch is made of . What parts do you recommend getting got replacement and what do you think i melted
    Thank you

You probably would benefit from taking the transmission cover off and taking a look at the components. NCY makes the full kit, but figuring out what you need would be the start. Hop on the Royal Alloy USA Facebook group and show us some pictures we'd all be happy to help

Now that I’ve ripped my gasket, too…where’d you get a new one? Or did you cut your own?

    • @freewayRode
      @freewayRode  ปีที่แล้ว +1

I did nothing other than tape the ripped part with some electrical tape and bolt it back down
