They both look great love alternative schemes for Squigs 🙂 Watching the results you get from both the traditional 2thincoats triads and Contrast+ 2thincoats highlights has inspired me to try them this year and I do like the results so have been adding new colours with each project I move onto Can't wait to see more in 2025 🙂
My goal for my Night Gobbo Old World army is to have every squig a slightly different color. I saw someone do a great white shark squig for the 40k boss mount and I’m totally looting that for a mangler to go along with my tiger squig pattern. Squigs are one of my favorite critters, but making the teeth pop like yours is the key.
Squigs are the best. I liked them both. The turquoise one I liked right away. It's a great group of colors. I know what you mean though. Sometimes it's hard to really get a sense of how it's going to go until you get a few details done.
I completely agree with you that pink is the best, but that's because pink is the best color, even though I would have preferred more margenta, but I'll take what I get. Unfortunately, Two Thin Coats is not available here in Norway and it's ridiculously expensive to buy things from abroad. Not that it deters me from buying things from abroad, but when I do, I either want to buy so much that the shipping makes sense or when it's something that I can't get here. I get atg on colors from Citadel, Army Painter, Prp Acryl, Vallejo, AK and probably more that I don't know about right now, so then it doesn't make sense to order Two Thin Coats. But if they do a 4th wave through kickstarter, it's not entirely impossible that I'll fall into that hole.
They both look awesome! Tbh I like the blue one even more than the pink; always trust your process! Have all three waves of Two Thin Coats; great paints and the triad works well for me.
I love the way you've done the midtones and highlights, with scratches and dots instead of layering with solid brushtrokes as usual, what paint consistency you go for these steps?
Talking of Squigs, anyone think that the old Squig with goblin riders will be released for the Old World or should I give up on that idea and just buy the AoS ones ?
Kill Team is not difficult to learn if you layer up the rules, don’t use all rules at once. As for a channel with Kill Team rules content, there’s a lot of them.

SQUIGS!!!
good advice about the tri-colour system, another banger Andy!
Love the teal, my goblin army is all teal for the squigs. Looks great in my opinion
I love the crunchy peanut butter bases :)
Love these guys, the whole team also looks amazing. Love ttc paints, great video Andy all the best for 2025 keep up the great work.
Great off the beaten path video! We often overlook how much more color we can put into our minis!
Cheers Andy! My back log has over 100 squigs needing to be painted lol
Great work 👍👍

The word you were looking for at 8:41 is "uniformity."🙂
Thank you! :D

If I ever do squigs I’ll probably do turquoise. Thanks a lot!
hope you had good xmas mate
Love TTC. I'd use them more, but I keep spending my money on new minis instead
Cohesive is the word you were looking for lol...
Lovely paintjob sir 👏 so no shading on the squigs in the process?

cool
thanks zach!

The intention is definitely to do the AoS ones I think. I could see a made to order some time, but they might also not be the worst priced 2nd hand?
Is Kill Team Difficult to learn? Anyone have a recommended channel for coaching content?

Multi-coloured squigs = squittles.
