Jin is the eldest member of BTS. He asked Coldplay to help him with this song as a gift to the fans (Army) as a “see you later” before he enlisted in the military (he is returning a little over 2 weeks from now). He flew 40 hours to sing this song in Argentina at coldplays concert. This was the first and only time he got to perform this song. We are anticipating an album from Jin when he returns from enlistment. He’s the last member to drop a solo album and we can’t wait!
I love all the BTS members. They’re so special in their own way. So different from each other and yet they love each other like brothers. They will literally take a bullet for each other and also would kill each other over free food 🤭

That’s so awesome. The more I find out about BTS and each individual member the more I respect the hell out of them. This was an amazing performance, and I was actually folds into thinking that this was a concert where Coldplay showed up to perform for him because the audience was going crazy for him. And I completely see why this song is beautiful. That’s really exciting too that he’s returning from the military in about two weeks. I’ll have to do something special maybe to welcome him home. Maybe another video celebrating his return. I have a J-Hope video coming out tomorrow night, it’s neutron. I really enjoyed that but no spoilers. Thank you so much for your comment and support. @@Thetazord It was Coldplays concert in that huge stadium in Argentina and Jin flew all the way there from South Korea just to sing the song he and Chris of Coldplay wrote together.

I always cry when Jin runs to Chris for a hug. Their relationship is seriously so wholesome. They respect the hell out of each other and it shows 🫶 You should also watch the speech that Chris made to introduce Jin, its so heartwarming! Also watch the My Universe mv with coldplay and BTS and also the documentary behind the scenes, its worth it!

There is a video of the song plus a speech from Chris - the speech makes the performance much more emotional. The fact that the song was released just a day before and Jin flew from Korea to Argentinia just for this precious moment… is just heart-warming.

Coldplay sold out nine days straight at that stadium before it was even announced that Jin would appear. Some of the girls (otherwise known as people) were there for Coldplay. Anyway, BTS and Coldplay share a lot of fans. We love each other and so do the members of each group.

Could you please try to do something about your microphone? We have a very difficult time hearing you a lot of the time. I don't know if you're too far away from the mic or if the mic volume is turned down or it's a crappy mic, I don't know but something is really off.

This was almost 2 years ago and it still makes me cry . What an awesome way to send off our moon I can't believe he's going to be home in a little over week!!!!!!! happy festa army!💜💜💜💜 Please send him lots of love he's so amazing the day after he gets home and he's holding a meet and greet where he has requested to be able to hug Army! Which is usually prohibited any event they do for their safety but he specifically asked for the ability to do so and I think that's just so amazingly generous just like him!

@@Thetazord Not an idiot, never. It is part of the K-pop culture, and your ear will start to recognise it better with time. We all had to learn this.
There is also fanchants in many songs, and these fanchants have wide variation; from startning the song with all BTS members names in status/age order chanted 1-4 times, to added lyrics that we sing between their lines. You can find these from the net. There is also sometimes when these are changed for some special occasion like a featuring artist visit.

As you said how the music itself reminds you of 80's style, even the music video is totally 80-90's coded. This is significantly shot and written for Armys 2 years ago when he was leaving for military and there is a chris Martin speech before this , totally worth it to check out. He traveled some 36 hours to sing this song live one last time before he goes to serve. Its extremely special as well as emotional for armys. This song is co written by Coldplay and Jin. The lyrics are very meaningful. Jin has always been coldplay fan from childhood, now he is literally best friends with them. Chris and crew love Jin and BTS a lot. Now Seokjin the beloved elder member who is so loved dearly by BTS and Army is coming back in 3 days. He will be releasing his debut full album later this year. He is the only one yet to release an album and most anticipated one. Also jin is very versatile vocalist in BTS. He has one of the widest range in BTS. so we are intrigued to see what kind of genre he will chose for his debut.

plenty of videos of this song with CC. plus the MV is amazing! It's his goodbye song to ARMY just before he goes into the military for 18months. Plus, they had to pitch shift a bit so Chris could sing the high harmony.
