Can you clarify for me how much you estimate the cost of living. I listened twice but could not make out how much and for how long. Thank you in advance
On average we pay around 120 Euros per month for electricity, gas, water and municipal taxes. Thank you 😊
@@TeaAndTinto Gosh! That is remarkably modest. Perhaps in a later video you could talk about the cost of phones and internet and food costs. I live in SWFrance and food is a bit more expensive than in the UK. I found your channel today and I’m finding it interesting and fun. I have subscribed. Good luck for your future plans.
Thank you very much Susan. Good idea. We'll try to expand in future. However if you are interested right now, TV/internet/2 phone package is 67 Euro pm. In our opinion and our family who live in France, food is cheaper here.

Hello! Thank you for making this perfect informative video! I’ve been in Scotland 27 years and the poor weather severely has affected my mental and physical health. I’m on my own 60 years old and doing my research to move to Portugal in 1-2 years. What house websites do you recommend? Should I go ahead and switch my bank to Santander now? Is there a website you recommend for legal advice etc? After 5 years there are you a citizen?
Hi Irsco. Thank you for your lovely comments. There are a couple of websites for property, such as Idealista and Imovirtual. Sorry we don't know any with lawyers. If you use Facebook there are a couple of good groups that you could join which regularly deal with some of the same questions you have eg British Immigrants (expats) in Portugal. They also have Files on some of these topics. Best of luck with your research

Thank you for thinking of us. We are safe and well . Nearest fires were 20 km. So sad that lives were lost including Firefighters 😔

get permits is mission impossible or must have like 100k paperwork for 30k home that makes nuts
