I started watching your videos lately and think they are great! Thank you so much for giving us a peek into your life in Bangkok! I am getting my ducks in a row to permanently move to Bangkok and I am trying to learn my way around by watching videos like yours. I plan on coming soon for my reconnaissance, but watching condo tours like yours that actually say where the condo is helps with the planning! Thank you for that! 🙂
@Christina-in5ue - Using GOOGLE EARTH is very helpful in finding your way around Bangkok before you get there. The street views allow you to see your neighborhood before committing to a long-term lease.
Hey Christina! Thank you so much for tuning in and the kind words. I appreciate it 🙏🏼😊. Glad you find my videos helpful and that’s so amazing!! You won’t regret moving at all. Such a great time here in Thailand and Asia in general. I’ll continue to do my best with the videos. What’s your favorite part about Bangkok?
Thank you for the detailed video of a luxury condo. which has never been seen like this before Gained a lot of knowledge and you look handsome and fresh in every clip.
Those 7-11 vending machines are great! That seems pretty overpriced compared to a little further down BTS. Our condo in Bang Na is half that price ($9,500 baht) and has all the nice amenities too.
Yeah 7-11 anything is great! I can't get enough of them LOL.... Yeah, the further you go away from the main parts of downtown, the cheaper it gets. I've never ventured out into the Bang Na area. How do you like it there?
Hi Davion! That condo is a great deal. Don't worry too much about the noise. Eventually, your brain will learn to tune them out and they will no longer bother you. Can you do an affordable hotel tour in Bangkok? Some visitors aren't able to rent condos because of their short stay in the city.
Hey Kevin! Thank you for tuning in 🙏🏼 Yeah definitely a great deal. I agree with the noises. Think the longer I stay, the more it’ll just become white noise for me 😂 That’s absolutely a great idea. I’ll definitely add that to topics I can do for future videos. Thanks for the suggestion, I appreciate it 🙏🏼
You lost me at durian....I had to fast-forward past that lol! I loved seeing the 7-Eleven vending machine - that was new. I recently returned from Japan for the 3rd time, and love love love 7-Eleven there so much. That, and the one in Sweden was awesome, too! You have a really nice condo, my dude! And so affordable! Best believe I'll be at that hammam all the time! Keep the videos coming (minus durian stuff)
Thanks Paul! Need to conquer your fear of durian brotha 😜🤣 The 7-elevens in Asia are so next level. I literally go daily. Will keep the vlogs coming for sure
1-2 months you can pretty much only do AirBnB or you can try on FB in groups about rentals. Airbnb is only prohibited for short term rentals less than 30 days.
@@DavionTravel ahh great info thanks. I‘m just annoyed at the super overpriced offers on Airbnb compared to Long term rentals :( it’s minimum 3x in the nicer condos
@@linglingstar Yeah, that's the only downside to short term rentals. You usually end up paying 2-3x more, but it's pretty much like a hotel which is understandable. AirBnB owners are trying to make a profit
Noticed you're from OC too. I'm also from OC, looking to move over to thailand hopefully soon and to be with my thai gf. Any tips or recommendations to make an american income while living in bangkok?
Hey there! Yes I’m from the OC and lived there all my life. That’s amazing!! I fully support the move. As for making an American wage, you’ll probably have to look for a fully remote job, start your own business, or find something you can do online. I do know that university degree holders can make a solid salary for teaching, but I have never looked into those
Yes I heard english teachers in thailand can make up to 3k USD a month. But teaching doesn't fit my personality. I've ran a few businesses before online but most of them never made me enough to live off of. Are you currently doing TH-cam hoping to one day become an influencer in Thailand and live there? That would be my dream too. I started youtube as well but stopped uploading. I'm thinking of getting a remote sales job and moving there and working there secretly lol. Your videos are insightful and I enjoy the vibe especially as another asian american from oc too!@@DavionTravel
Ah I see, yeah teaching is definitely not for everyone. I don't think I can do it either unless it was fitness related Lol. Not necessarily. Just doing YT for fun to share my experiences as well as have it more of a personal diary so I can look back years from now and remember some of the things I did. A lot easier and more fun than writing a journal haha. Glad you enjoy the videos and found them insightful. I'll keep them coming
I have the impression that luxury in condos in Bangkok starts with the shared seats and ends before entering your own room. You probably pay for the work areas or the swimming pool, because the rooms often look like in other places for $300, except for the view.
Yes this is a smaller size and it’s a studio. They have different floor plans. You’re describing a true 1 bedroom layout. Definitely cost a little higher because of location and amenities that come with it. The farther you go away from downtown center and tourist areas, it is cheaper
Okay, if you're gonna continue to do these blogs, do me a favor and lose the word luxury, there's nothing luxury about that condo. Or the fact that it's the size of a walk in closet.

#goals ... currently staying at intercontinental for a few days checking out the city... can't want to make the move!
You don’t need a big room because you have very big facilities rooms in the building 👍.
Yes that is true! The facilities have plenty of room and working space. It's definitely a different adjustment

It looks like Bangkok is getting expensive but still reasonable compared to OC.
BK is still relatively the same for the most part
Where did you reserved your room?
I booked on AirBnB since it was only a month. Expect to pay 2-3x more depending on season than regular 1 year lease

Did he mention the name of this condo? I replayed several times but didn't see it.
Q chidlom
All the info is in the description of the video 👍🏼
Is this video about Q chidlom, phetchaburi, rathchethawi?? How this place ?? Do we have any indian restuarents neaf by
Yes it is and I’m not sure about Indian restaurants in the area
I’m going to Thailand in four months how do I get this condo?
You can try Airbnb
I'm not sure if there's a problem with TH-cam. The cover of this video clip shows that there are no views.
Think it's just a technical error on youtube. I see the views on here. Their system is always changing. Thank you
hey! How were you able to get a 1-2 month lease? I heard Airbnb is prohibited (overpriced anyway)

Hey bro if you have a visitor from out of town can you add them to the face scan?
From what I know, usually if you stay for at least 1 month, owners can do that... and it's ultimately up to the owner.
@@DavionTravel Sounds good, thanks.
How's the air quality? I bet the same like LA.
Has its good and bad days. Similar to any other dense cities
It has one of the worst air qualities in the world. You can't imagine how bad it is until you visit. Only a few days a year are clearish.
Disagree. A quick google search will tell you it’s not even remotely close to the top

Is electricity and water included in the rent?
Sometimes they are, but most time it isn’t. However, it’s not that much relatively speaking if your salary is US dollars
@DavionTravel so how to pay electricity and water? Through owner's account?
You pay the condo or transfer money to the agency in charge of it.. for example, electricity bill, you can go to a 7-11 and pay it
Are there many luxury condos to choose from under $350?
Under $350 you’ll have to go further away from city center or into other towns
"Chit Lom" is the BTS stop.
Yes it is and Chidlom is the area. I think it's spelled both ways like Sathon and Sathorn
hello I am interested to rent. How I can contact>?
For renting a condo, I can refer you to my agent that helped me find a condo. Let me know what’s your line ID

I'm sure there are many all over, but I don't know of one yet. I haven't looked into it as much as I would like to yet.
