So I’m this video I’m just giving my 2 weeks update, somethings I do for maintenance, and how I’m enjoying the journey so far! I’m loving it.

Great tips im almost 2 months in. If it's unraveling at the end and not the roots leave it be my loctician just retwist my roots she leaves the ends they will find there way. Love your hair it's gorgeous 😍

Super cute. 😍 I'm 9 months in, started with barely enough to twist. Love the advice not just the physical things to do but the mental as far as loving your hair.

Lovely!!!💕💕 Let the hair around your temples become tiny baby locs. Don't force it down into the larger locs.

I was told not to wet my hair I’m 1 week in
To each their own. People will tell you not to..other will tell you to. It’s all personal preference really. For me…spraying my hair with water made it lock together faster because water makes my hair super matted. Find what works best for you! Congrats on starting !
@@simply_fi after watching your video and a few others i did spray with water mixed with a shampoo that helps with dryness and used a tea tree oil and tied down, i honestly can’t see how they recommend no water on hair during this process bc i get buildup quick!
How long does it take to dry when wet? Considering starting but I’m in research mode rn
Well it all depends on you individual hair type honestly , but for me personally, my hair dries extremely quickly..maybe about 20 minutes 😅. But again, everyone’s different 😊
