    Wow. I don’t know what to say. Do you get tired of hearing that you’re brilliant? NOBODY else has come within a mile of a recipe like this. I was a caterer years ago, often made a blue cheese cracker, not unlike this, totally forgot it over the years, but now I can go back. Thank you for every bit of thought you put in to these weekly recipes, and your vlogs.

    OMG we need to rename y'all the King and Queen of Nashville! Believe it or not... I don't miss sweets, or anything else but savory chips or crackers and well I don't have to miss them anymore! THANK YOU!! PS I also added nutritional yeast and put the dough through my pasta maker (lasagna noodle setting) it makes them perfect!

    When I was transitioning from Keto to full Carnivore, I did those cheese it’s, however, mine were EASY. I got a big pack of Sharp Cheddar Sargento cheese slices. Cut them in quarters, put them on a cookie sheet lined with Parchment, little salt, pop in 300d oven for about 10 to 15 min. OMG very dangerously GOOD!!! Thank Goodness I don’t eat them anymore. Be care of the calories. I would take them to work and eat them with my burger. Yum!

      To Russ and Peggie, salmon left over, grilled or canned, 2-4 oz cream cheese (depends on how much salmon you have to use) salt and pepper, a little lime juice to taste if you can have that & a tablespoon of apple cider vinegar or horseradish juice. I like get to sit overnight to blend all the flavors and I add sour cream if I need to soften it up.
      My husband is not on carnivores so for his portion he puts a tablespoon of horseradish in and the juice of a half a lime.

    Okay, these are crispy and so needed. I have a CRAZY idea... Carnivore POPCORN!! It might work with this cracker recipe but find a way that when you drop the batter in HOT animal fat, it curls and expanded into a popcorn style snack that's all carnivore. Pork rinds make our foods taste a but corny so I think it would have to have pork rinds in the recipe. I'm seriously craving popcorn and I go to my hardware store where they give you all you want to eat just to smell it. ❤❤❤

    Hoping to move into our HOUSE in May after living in our 34’ motorhome for TWO YEARS😳. I will have AN OVEN!!! Been making all your recipes so far in a small air fryer oven.
    SIDE NOTE: Did anyone else think the crackers looked like toffee/honeycomb candy when they were all done???? I think it was their color (at least on my screen). And the thickness. 😂

    Leaving things out on counters....results will vary!!! In Las Vegas we kept bread in the fridge to keep it from drying out. In MS we kept bread in the fridge to keep it from molding....crackers in a tupperware or ziplock storage to keep them from collecting moisture. in the PNW it varies what we do depending on the season...sumer is dry, winter wet.......There is a killer Alaskan smoke salmon cream cheese/sour cream dip that would go great on these. Also your pan reminded me of my Grandma's cracker pan....miss her...she made it all!!!

    Chris!!! I can have Crackers again. I served these to my friend, only told him they were low carb. He said they taste like Cheezeits!!!!! Ha ha!!! I use pre Shredded sharp cheddar because that's all I had at the time. I split the dough into two to make it easier to roll out. I lessened the cook time because of a lot of oil in the pre Shredded cheese I used. I will get the right cheese next time BECAUSE there WILL be a next time!!! I want to dip them in Tuna Fish or put sliced cheese on them. Genius!!!!!!!

    YUM, I made carnivore creamy chicken soup and crunched these up on top WOW!!! They even stayed crunchy after sitting in the liquid for awhile. I just LOVE crackers and can't wait to try it with homemade cheese spread and smoked oysters thank you thank you thank you!

    Hey Chris, Great Job Brother!!! You may have already said and I apologize if I missed it. But how many carbs are in these recipes. Thanks again for all you do to help people to get healthier. You have found a special place and a special gift in life!

    • @ChrisCookingNashville
      @ChrisCookingNashville  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      No worries! The only carbs are the minute traces in an egg and then whatever trace carbs are in the type of cheese you buy. Trace carbs in the seasonings for the cheez-it version if you use that too. That’s all there is. 👍🏼

    These are great. Mine were a little thick - I did half batch and used small pan so next time will do bigger pan to thin them out. Flavor is spot on. Great job. Shrimp and grits is next…or cheese grits and fried eggs. Everything I have made from your recipes has been keeper recipes. Thank you.

    Thank you so very much ❤ I'm on week 7 of carnivore and have occasional cravings for crunchy snacks.
    I smoked 9lbs of various cheeses months ago. So I used smoked cheddar combined with smoked colby jack, along with the spices. AWESOME smoked cheese its 😋

    Oh My!!!
    Okay. So Extra Toasty Cheez-Its are my favorite. Is there a way to do that without burning/over baking them?
    These were so good that I will only shed one tear if you tell me no, however I will have new best friends if you tell me yes😂😂😂

      You can certainly keep baking them longer. As long as you check them every 5 minutes or so you should have no problem. Take them as far as you want before removing them from the oven. 😊👍🏼

    I am so excited to make these! I’ve been craving that cracker crunch. I wonder if you can take the same batter and fold in some stiff peak egg whites, and then pipe them out in popcorn sized shapes using white cheddar and make carnivore version of smart food? 🤔😊

    OMGOSH...been wanting a cheez-it recipe! I've been buying the Quest ones, which are hella pricey and not quite right (but by now I can't remember what a real one tasted like lol) This looks like a recipe I can do and fairly quickly!
    Will try the others in a large size, for putting cheese and pepperoni on. (is that too much cheese - cheese on a cracker made of cheese?? Nawwww)

      It might take a little extra time but shouldn’t be too much. Since it’s a thin dough they tend to bake pretty close to the same amount of time.

    I like this!
    I do have a question though. After the first bake, to keep them from getting too brown with the drying out extended cooks. Would a dehydrator work? Or would that change the texture?
    I know I could just experiment myself. However, I would rather ask the expert...

    • @ChrisCookingNashville
      @ChrisCookingNashville  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      You’re welcome to try that. The only possible issue would be the state of the proteins. The hot fat is essentially frying them and then lightly cooking them as you bake longer (hence the browning color). I don’t know of a dehydrator will give the same effect or not, but you could definitely try it. 😊👍🏼
