It's under 750k as all the bells and features like sunfroom and everything u want in it. This is doing renuelt fans wrong. The are different specs u could have used or shown in the video. Yes the interior is slightly poor and there's no sunroof which sucks but I could honestly live with it. I just wish renualt brought the rs 300 lux along aswell instead of just 55 units of the trophy because its a better daily car.
Isn't the VW Golf 8 R a more worthy competitor price wise? I feel like we are putting unnecessary pressure on the GTi but since we here a VW Golf 7.5 GTi TCR is another worthy competitor as it's also a front wheel drive

For the price the interior is mediocre compared to the Golf. Renault should definitely re look at their interior, screens and dash display looks cheap and un attractive
As a car enthusiast, I will take this any day. Even over a Golf R. I don't care that it's a Renault or that other people like the golf better. At the end of the day, I choose the car for me and nit others. And for me, this does it. The lack of sunroof is the only issue I have with this.
This one is base spec, factory options are Recaro seats, Fuijilight wheels, Potenza S007 tyres, but they might not be available in all countries. Sunroof can also be optioned but you don't really want a sunroof on a performance focused car though. Personally I prefer the interior over the other 2 cars, especially if you can get the Recaros which really makes it look good.
I think it's It's competitor is probably the golf 8r, not the GTI. They even retail for the same price although the 8r, due to supplier issues, is being sold for more than 1,2M
This review is misguided. I enjoy the channel, but I've got some issues. 1. The RS300 does not compete with the i30N. The RS300 is more expensive and put on a track would destroy the i30N. (I own an i30N so this isn't fanboy talk) If you've got R950k you're looking at the RS300, Civic Type R and Golf R. The Type R and RS300 destroy the Golf on track, they are for people that want to go to a track, or pretend they go to a track. Golf R is for people that want recognition or a robot racer. 2. I get that you're not a fan of expensive hatchbacks, but what sporty sedan are you buying (new) with R950k that can compete with any of these cars? S3 from Audi is all that comes to mind? I'm not trying to encourage or promote expensive hatchbacks here, but you're putting a cap of R600k on hatchbacks, but not giving the audience you're 950k (non-hatch) sport car alternative.
You need to realise that it's a track car you can daily. It's a softer version of the Trophy R. The normal RS was priced between the GTI and i30N. You're paying for the Trophy R's Nürburgring Nordschleife lap time of 07:55. The same as a Ferrari F430 F1, more than a second faster than a Lamborghini Gallardo SE, and 10 seconds a lap faster than a E92 M3.
I am kinda between these choices & so far Im with the I30N but my mind the other day took me to the A250 with AMG pack for this amount of money but ai must say Im stagnating cause my heart & my mind are in a serious battle. Im also a bit tired of making the safe decisions feels like I haven't lived....
Dude just lease the car for a little bit maybe 3 months to see how you truly feel cause that's a decent amount of time. That way you'll make a decision that's not necessarily safe but you are sure of

Golf is just too dull of a ride hence they don't hold value that good, I30N is good but not as refined as a Megane RS Trophy. The Trophy is a real enthusiasts car and great for track visitors.

Look i would choose this megane rs over i30 , because between sunroof and sound system, i'll sacrifice sunroof....You need proper sound sytem in a car mate.
Money or no money, I will never be a fan of any French car brand. Even if the i30 N is dubble the price, Korean brands will always win against the French brands, but that's just my opinion.
Power aside, how do you even begin to convince a GTI gent to buy the Megane that doesn't have a sunroof? Even Polo gents know that a sunroof is key and 950K without one is madness.
