What to use after mortal and cleaning to seal the bricks and mortal to stop falling off and dust ?

Once completely dry, you can use our brick sealant. However with our products there isn't a lot of dust/mortar to fall off- generally after a couple of days once dry it's settled.

The whole wall doesn’t need to be covered with adhesive ?

Ideally you spread adhesive on both, but many installers only do the slips for efficiency, as long as the quantity is there it doesn't make too much difference.

You just need a tile cutter, angle grinder or multi-tool to cut them!

@@thebricktileco Fair enough . But I know I will lay 1000 bricks much faster than you laying 1000 bricks . About 18 sq mts ?

@@johnbowkett80 I take it you’re a professional bricklayer? I’m not sure a DIYer would be able to lay bricks well, but they can install our slips. There’s also other considerations, internal floors aren’t built to take the weight of a full brick wall (and I wouldn’t be confident in it’s stability with no foundation?) you’ll lose more space in the room, then there’s the consideration of sockets etc. this is all considering a flat feature wall, never mind a kitchen or bathroom.

@@thebricktileco I have laid a few slips getting over concrete beams on large projects . I know they do work . I was just saying that laying bricks is quicker for any bricklayer . I've been laying for over 45 years and will still lay 1000 on a decent run in day . All the best . 👍👍👍👍👍
