Hello Frivole. Thanks so much. This new video has been a game changer. Finally got the Josephine chain correct with this helpful video so completing the bookmark soon. Your videos and patterns are great. Please keep sharing.
Oh!...I love the look of the Josephine Chain much better! The JK has such a scrawny little neck! Lol Thank you for this eye opener! PS: I keep checking your Etsy store for shuttles. Love them so much.
Hi Maria, glad you like it... "scrawny little neck" made me laugh! I still like JKs too, it depends where I'm using them. I should have a few shuttles to list this week. I just starting making them again recently.
@@11Frivole As a wee little skinny girl (around 8 or 9) my father came to visit us and took me for a spin on his small cc motorcycle. Helmet on and me holding on for dear life to my father. As soon as he took off, my head tilted back (on that scrawny little neck of mine) and stayed that way until he stopped. I only saw the sky. Once he stopped, my head flew upright and hit the back of his helmet. He said “stop hitting my helmet!” Lol It happened again and again so he took me home. I was happy the ride was over. I love the shuttles I already purchased from you so looking forward to more.
Hi Debra, you could certainly try it to see how it looks but I find that, because of the construction of my maple leaf, the Josephine knots there seemed to be quite firm already and not flopping about like they can be when just thrown off a chain.
Hello Daniela, thank you for your comment. I make and sell the shuttles I use in my videos and they can be found in my Etsy shop if you're interested (www.etsy.com/shop/lacossette). I do ship to Switzerland! :-) As I write this message, I don't currently have any for sale but should have a few this week. Otherwise, as Marcia says, plain bobbin shuttles can be found in various online shops (though sometimes they don't have good tension).
@@11Frivole tx for your comment.. Yes.. The only one i found here has not good tension.. Amazone is Kind of complicated from EU to Switzerland... I'll take a look in your Shop and etsy
I got aerlit , monlit also boye. Like you said not always they have good tensions. I got the GR8 but I find a little difficult to use them, they are beautiful. I didn’t know you make shuttles . Is it in Etsy shop?🤗

Wonderful shuttles with matching threads....!!!
Thank you for your kind comment Tasneem! :-)
Thank you for sharing this. Would this be appropriate to replace the Josephine knots with Josephine chain on your Maple Leaf pattern?

Nice videos.. Fast tatting with those shuttles.. I m looking for them since years, but can't find in Switzerland
Do you have Amazon there? I got my shuttles on the Amazon.com actually Amazon.ca because I live in Canada. Good luck 🤗
