your channel helped me so much with my college project, i simply wouldn't be graduated if it wasn't for your videos and books. you're a pop-up legend, thank you!
I always used to think about what kind of people are excited for youtube videos, who post "first" in the comments! Now I know So happy to be one of the first ones to watch this video. Thank you so much for sharing and so excited that you are uploading again.
I'm a graphic design student and my project in editorial design was to make a pop up book, I really didn't like pop up because I thought it was complicated, now I love it thanks to you and your dynamic way of teaching, thanks for the new video. Greetings from Ecuador.
Thanks so much for this demo! I had sort of figured this mechanism out a couple of years ago by looking at Yellow Square and Mommy. My version was much cruder and didn’t work all the time. I made a small donation to your site awhile back and I have a brief message for your 103K other subscribers: This TH-cam channel is fantastic! Which most of you all probably realize. So I suggest that everyone who uses these tutorials, and who can afford to, make a donation, no matter how small. There are so many of us that we could theoretically make this guy rich-which would be very cool. But at the very least, it will allow him to continue to produce these tutorials without losing money 😄
Thank you very much for the explanation! I was looking especially for the second mechanism, because I want to make a greeting card with a dancing ballerina rotating around her axis. Your videos are very informative and useful!
It should be possible to make one of these activated by a Pull- Strip. Start by making a basic Flap (Tutorial 26 at 2.55.) - then build the twirling mechanism onto the gully created where the flap is attached to the page.
I did lot of pop up greeting cards and I gave taken lit of inputs from ur tutorials and mixed them to be different from other craft makers, it's a continuous learning process
thank you very much for all your clases,I love them. I have seen all of them from tutorial 1 until know, and making them. I am from Santiago Chile, south america ,again thank you for teaching and explain sow clearliy
Yes it's a type 2. The angle folds are surrounded with an Open Topped Shape (Tutorial 18), which in turn has a "lid" on it, this top piece folds down as the spread closes.

I have one doubt, can the same mechanism made with sliding tab/pull tab?

Excellent as usual. One question, does Brava Strega Nona used type 2 method? Wondering where is the space for two angle folds...
Yes it's a type 2. The angle folds are surrounded with an Open Topped Shape (Tutorial 18), which in turn has a "lid" on it, this top piece folds down as the spread closes.
