I’m so happy Ben finally told Callum 😢.
I'm so happy that ben finally told callum about his eating disorder and how his feeling
I love them so much! Such a brilliant pairing both characters and actors. Fantastic chemistry and bond between them 🙌🏻💙
Tonight's episode was soo well writen. Down to the train sound representing his PTSD as he heard that when Lewis was SA him.

@@maganhassan2627 sexual assault that's what it means
@@maganhassan2627it’s s**ual ab*se. It often gets shortened in case it triggers anyone.
Ben saying he doesn’t eat makes sense considering Max Bowden’s weight loss.
The scenes tonight were heartbreaking, great acting by Max and Tony. Very poignant ep😭 😢
I skipped most of it.

@@Anneee27 ... I'm not watching it on here.
Yep I am glad Ben has been honest I relaly am but its about time Eastenders stopped giving him misery all the time like they are with Whitneh. No wonder why Shona wants to leave I bet shes sick of playing miserable all the time. Shes got a fab talent for singing anyway ❤❤❤
Beautiful episode and gorgeous acting by Max & Tony! #Ballum forever 💙
Great acting from all tonight wonderful episode❤
OMG --this is amazing.
so sad tbh loved this
It doesn’t seem Callum has any problems so he’ll be by bens side 24/7
he's barley even a character anymore. Just there to support Ben and be screamed at when his husband has a tantrum.
Yea folks we get to see what unhealed, not dealt with trauma does to a fella
Yeah I'd say eastenders is a good place to look for help with life's problems
@crazychrisfromessex1740 hahaha yea right, good one

What Ben going thorough with Lewis and more. And Ben tells Callum the truth his eating disorder.

I love this show Ben and Callum they are so happy and they are very excited about Married Couple they living together husband and husband Ben is a great Husband to Callum and Ben is a great Husband to Callum

😮
Every time he’s on screen he’s crying
Cos he’s got issues he needs to deal
with 🙄
Still not over the fact he was raped either
That’s the point that will be with him for the rest of his life
Well you can't just get over rape. But most of Eastenders characters have been raped! But the Male rape was a very good storyline. Men can be raped as well as women and that's the whole message.
Kathy Beale twice with her teacher and Wilmott-Brown

No shit Sherlock. That’s shy it’s lead to this eating disorder.
Getting tired of ben Mitchell's drama's to be honest
I do not like Ben. This Ben is always sad. Always angry. Always some sort of problem going on. Deaf, rape, drug abuse, anorexia. There's nothing wrong with characters HAVING problems - there'd be no show without them - but Ben's always feel the same. Goes on under the surface for a few weeks. Then comes the anger. Then comes the sadness, them comes redemption. Him and Callum cry, hug and say they love each other, to much fan fair. It's getting boring and, honestly, is a disservice to the character of Ben Mitchell. He has been much better in previous years.
Also Callum is pretty bad now. Just, no character. When he was Halfway he actually had a defining personality, if a bit slim. Now he's... Police officer? Oh, Jack! He's just another Jack! Great! Seriously.
😂 bruh...Ben's life always rough by giving him tough stories people can relate to he's growing as a character especially right now
I don't get the issue with callum he's grown lol
Jack become more of old fashioned dad I don't like that but at least he's learning
@@maganhassan2627 No, no no. Re-read my comment. I'm AWARE of Ben's past, and I'm AWARE of how EastEnders works. But think about it. Every modern Ben story is the same, with the same strucutre:
1. Problem under the surface
2. Anger and sadness
3. Redemption
It's repetitive to the point where I have to sit back and think "wait... is he REALLY growing from all this?" Because I'd say no. Has he become more caring about his relationship with Callum? No, not really, or else he wouldn't be acting so selfish. Okay, is his anger getting better? Oh, no? Oh, he acts the same in every single situation he's put in? Oh, not a lot of change there!
There's nothing wrong with putting in stories that people can relate to, it's sort of the point, but putting these same stories onto one character that reacts the same way each time isn't really achieving much. We aren't seeing a unique reaction each time, we know what's going to happen. If it was anyone else it would be at least a little bit more interesting.
Also, give me one defining personality trait about Callum. Oh.. uh... He loves his husband! Erm... He's good! Any flaws? Uhh... erm... he couldn't tell his husband wasn't eating!.. Oh, sure, very realistic. I believe that Callum couldn't tell something was wrong (not very realistic). Terrible. He's just not a character, and is as useless as Bernie.
@PhilMitchellFan2001 1. The point is ben had a terrible life so far & him being a Mitchell considering how Phil mistreated him before plus him being bullied before it's bound to have an effect so it explains his behaviour the whole time it's problem after problem for him unfortunately & it's also like he cannot express himseif without something going wrong & these 2 recent issues like the rape & bullmia are like the last straws for him that he could have killed himself if he continued going down the dark path. Sure he got flaws but I do believe he's really growing from this especially right now but let's see he has to look after lexi alongside jay thus he should get better.
2. Again I see callum has grown he's not the "halfway" anymore 🤷♂️ more mature now so don't get the issue of callum he recently did get ptsd but recovered from that. Callum did notice the change to Ben's eating habits but he assumed something else because ben kept his struggles to himself I don't get how you say it's not realistic how callum dealt with Ben's bullmia so what he couldn't notice? Would you? Callum can notice when something is wrong with ben 🤔
@@maganhassan2627
1. Well, he's not growing, is he? Because his character acts the same when given a wide variety of different situations. That's not a compelling character, that's having no character at all. It's boring.
2. When Callum was Halfway he had more character than he does now, and that's fact. Again, give me any defining personality trait of Callum. Give me anything that makes him a compelling, realistic and interesting character. You can't, because he doesn't have one.
@PhilMitchellFan2001 1. Bruh...I already explained why I believe he's growing especially now so I don't see your point 🤷♂️ he can continue growing depending on situations given to him
2. Again callum matured now especially working the job he likes & helping raise lexi with ben & jay & finally able to express himself truly nowadays becoming his own self so I don't see the issue of him 🤷♂️
oh Ben the perpetual victim has anorexia? How do they come up w these plots? grab it out of the toilet, fling it on the wall and see what sticks?
Eating disorders aren’t uncommon amongst victims of sexual assault, so this actually makes sense for the character. Everything that happened with Lola definitely didn’t help as well.
Grow up. It’s very serious. He’s a victim of rape.
@@Guitar-qv6gu you know this is make believe. You seek counseling and move on. You can't live your whole life a victim. BTW Ben was never an angel. He was just use to bad things happening to others. Never to him cause of his daddy.
@@wtrujillo9250 Next year they'll have a new storyline that makes him a victim. We've done rape, eating disorder, gaybashing, abusive father, single parent... we're running out of victim cliches for ONE character.
What the hell is wrong with Ben, that guy and just a mess. God love him...
WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU? HE IS STILL SUFFERING FROM HIS RAPE ORDEAL AND HAS BULIMIA. YOU WOULD KNOW THIS IF YOU WATCH IT 🙄
You haven't been watching?
@@maganhassan2627 yes. I've been watching. Did I miss something? There's always something wrong with him... Talk......
