Funny how the sun crosses from s to north and not east to west. A person would think that the eclipse would be from east to west or at least west to east.
Also keep in mind the closer to the center you are the darker the rest of the sky should get. Which is important for this eclipse because both Jupiter and Venus will be near the moon during the eclipse. Jupiter on the upper left and Venus on the lower right of the Moon. Which means it should get dark enough to see them during the eclipse.

I can’t wait. I live in Dayton Ohio so it will be a total Solar Eclipse. I am ready, just hope it’s not cloudy that day.
