I was very much into Iceberg and Coogi at one point in time. So much to the point that when the brand slowed down, I started to panic about my wardrobe. I had all the “Mickey”, “Donald Duck”, “Daffy Duck”, “Goofy”, “Pink Panther”, “The Simpsons”, “Bugs Bunny”, “Pepe LePew”, “Marvin the Martian”, “Mulan”, “Tom & Jerry”, “Muttley” and even a Muhammed Ali feature. The “Throwback” and jersey era was kicking in heavy and the trend was too impactful to not pick up on. But one of the primary reasons I felt that Iceberg took a hit was because of brands like Lot 21 and “Platinum Fubu” (Fat Albert) was mimicking Iceberg’s appeal, which took away exclusivity. It got to the point where if you had on a Pepe LePew shirt, ppl had to question if you were wearing Iceberg or a bootlegged version of it. However, it was still one of my favorite brands and wished I held onto those pieces today.
Back in the day with the Tom & Jerry knit jumper and jeans so thin they ripped when i bent down with a beer in my back pocket😂🥰 I miss the late 90s early 00s clobber so much

He said they responded "We don't want people like you affiliated with our brand." That move hurt them as well but on the flip side, that's the reason JayZ decided to start up his own clothing brand....Rocawear.

Iceberg was my favorite brand as a kid in the late 90s. I had Linus tees, Bart tees, fantasia Mickey Mouse jeans, I had the Bart Simpson devil knitted sweater, I had a snoopy sweatsuit set and the only person I ever seen wit it was Raekwon, I forget the video but he was wearing his Tarantula chain and the snoopy sweatshirt was burgundy and gray.
