His name is Christian Alvestam he is doing all the vocal lines, he is a very talented intividual ,he sang on scar symmetry first 4 albums and after them he is part of many different projects like Miseration,Solution 45,Svalvevinter and others. He recently announced he has Covid-19 and we all hope for his recovery...
Correction my friend he sang on Scar Symmetry his first three albums Dark Matters was the fourth album and he was not in that!
And actually the first band he ever sang in was called unmoored he was a teenager

One of the guitar players, Per Nilsson, is currently a touring guitarist with Meshuggah. He's an incredible player.
Christian is a rare metal vocalist that could double as a pop singer and it would work

I used to love Scar Symmetry sooo much. Somehow I fell out of listening to them over the years, so this was a nice reminder for me. This song is amazing and the whole Holographic Universe album too. I hope you'll do more reactions to them in the future.
Christian avelstam is hands down my favorite vocalist. That being said, new scar symmetry with lars and Roberth is a ton better. The vocals and the music match better, and the music is way better and extreme. Sincerely, Christians #1 fan lol

One of my fave singers/screamers this guy is amazing. A live recording vid of him doing a guest vocal is online. He kills it! He can switch back n forth, its scary good
This is probably my favorite SS song. The chorus is just so groovy and heavy. I'm an In Flames stan, but this maybe is my favorite melodeath band (non prog because that's Opeth >_>)
Best album, Holographic Universe. Never gets old, so catchy. A new album from them would be nice.
I have been loving this album since it came out in '08. SO good! One of my favourite Metal albums. Christian's voice is so diverse and amazing, and these guitar solos from Per are phenomenal. I'm glad you two dig it. Oh, and 69th comment! 😂

glad you're bringing light to these guys. Sweden is brimming with metal bands, ready to take over the world. But sadly, they dont reach that far sometimes :(
Christian Alvestam is a beast of a vocalist. He does the cleans and growls and was in Scar Symmetry for the first three albums. He has a lot of other bands/projects he's in, most notable of which are Solution .45 and Svavelvinter. I'd recommend "Perfecting the Void" by Solution .45 and "Vanderland" by Svavelvinter to hear him more.

Christian Alverstam does all the vocals!! I think per n back some up on occasion but he has done many bands and he's probably one of the most talented singers today
That's Christian Alvestam. He's the Singer of a band called Solution.45 now. AND THEY'RE GREAT!! You should react this Band.
it's really hard to replicate an experience with Scar Symmetry, cuz they really evolved a lot over the years, and after this album, they had to replace Christian (their lead singer) with two other vocalists to cover the range, and imo, neither of them come close still. I'd recommend checking out "The Illusionist" or "Chaosweaver" from their earlier albums, or "Under BodeIns Bila" from Svavelvinter, his black metal project.
Been listening to this album since high school. It baffles me how they arent bigger ive always wanted to see them but they dont seem to tour the US often

They have two vocalists now, and they're still a great band. Christian obviously is an exceptional singer, but having a dedicated harsh vocalist and a dedicated clean vocalist suits them better live. And Per Nilsson on guitar is one of the best in the world, IMO.

Loved the vid. Consider doing a broad Christian Alvestam react. It'd be a fun vid and I'm sure you'd like it. He really does every level of vocals....clean to harsh...better than any vocalist in the game.

Holographic Universe is an A+ album, just saying.
The title track is one of my faves of theirs. It kicks in so hard after the intro and is so driving.
