Hiya thank you for the comment great to hear someone else is having a go ;) must admit I'm surprising my self especially in terms of how well the paint job is coming out I think as long as you do enough prep you can see a good result even with amateur garage and tool :) hope your project goes well on your morris many thanks from the manns garage kris
Nice video . The floor panels could be made a lot stronger and less likely to drum (vibrate) by hammering (or pressing in ) groves or depressions that resemble the ones in the original floor. Doesnt cost anything and is reasonably quick. I did this on my Triumph Dolomite floor that I'm restoring - works well . I fancy an A30 or 35 so am keen to see whats involved in fixing one up. Good luck with the future of the channel 👍
You know what that's a really interesting comment that is one of my worries about the panels being just flat others have mentioned the grooves help with structure but thanks for the advice regarding the vibrate I will certainly look to see if I can do that somehow :) yeah must admit love the little austin but definitely underestimated the amount of work but doing for the channel has made it an enjoyable process and helpful comment like this always help many thanks and hope you enjoy an austin as much as I do :)
Another difference between the A30 and A35 is that the A35 has modern flashing indicators front and rear, whereas the A30 has semaphore indicators on the sides.
