- Here I talk about disadvantages of raffia and basket bags and why I am thinking of replacing them with a leather woven bag by Dragon Diffusion.

Careful, dear Mashid, remember you regretted selling your other basket bag? I’m definitely in the “hang onto it” camp for wardrobe items, unless an item is uncomfortable, impractical or looks very dated. I still have and wear some clothes and accessories from 40 years ago, because they’re such high quality and classic designs, like my Dior full-length 100% wool coat, they’re treasures.
Haha, I know! I actually think I prefer that first classic Loewe basket bag over all others (Really really sad I sold it) 🙈.
Someday I hope to get a Dragon Diffusion bag, I love them. The woven leather solves the problem of the snagging on delicate clothes that raffia/straw/grasses can do. Also, I think the woven leather is almost seasonless, unlike straw. I would certainly use it in autumn and spring as well as summer, but would choose a light to medium color to suit my wardrobe better (I don’t wear much black because of my dark circles and super-pallor, it’s not the pretty type, it’s the “got a bad flu” type!). I also want a BV Cassette, it might not be as trendy now as it was, but it’s such a great classic and woven textures really appeal to me. Changing the subject: I would love to see you wear that Toteme set with a white/cream T-shirt instead of black, the high contrast would be striking, and white looks amazing on you. (I think Toteme uses cream rather than white in its patterns, I’d have to look closer to see which).

I have the Santa Croce leather woven one and I love it. I feel like the leather is more durable and maybe more versatile. I'm excited to start wearing it now that the weather is warming up. I think it's a beautiful alternative to a basket bag :)

I have a tan vertical Nantucket (I think it’s actually called Triple Jump) and LOVE it as a summer bag 😍 It has almost the same vibes as a raffia bag but without the disadvantages 😎 I have been considering getting one in white or black as well, but I can’t decide on the model either 🙈
I have actually ordered that one too but I am still waiting for it to arrive so I can make my ultimate decision 😅.

I love all my Dargons diffusion bags I have the first one you get in black and the second one in forrest green I want to add a Rosana love them more than loewe or bottega i’m no so affraid to bring them they are very resistant and beautiful with time. Hugs from France

I understand your concern about raffia basket bags damaging clothing: I have a gorgeous silk blouse from Vince and suddenly noticed lots of pulls in the fabric on one side. I realised that was the side I had been carrying my straw bag. The bags you are showing today are lovely, but I really wish they had some kind of zipped inner pocket to contain a purse, phone etc. to keep them secure. I rather like the idea of the biggest bag in the pearl colour, though black will always earn its’ keep!

How comfortably does the handle sit on your shoulder, especially when you put heavier objects in it? I'm worrying that the thin handles will press my shoulders when I put i.e. laptop or books in it.
I bought right now the croce one in black like yours! 😊 it’s amazing! And i think is more versatible than the for first one. But for the holidays i want to buy the first one in camel or Green. 😅 kisses ❤

Hi, did you end up keeping any of these?
I really love the look of them and ended up keeping one but then after a few days I noticed a it was faulty and I sent it back. Also something I noticed about these bags, they are NOT COMFORTABLE on the shoulders at all. They are in my opinion great only as top handle. They can get heavy very quickly and the round thick straps can dig in. 💕

all of them are laege size?
They come in different sizes but the dark ones here are in L. 💕
