- The Canadiens, Senators and Flames will pick fifth, seventh and ninth respectively in tonight's first round of the NHL draft. What direction will each team go with their selections? Ryan Rishaug is joined by TSN Director of Scouting Craig Button to weigh in on this and what Macklin Celebrini can expect going to a market like San Jose.

Who should the Canadiens, Senators and Flames draft at the NHL Draft?
Habs should draft Iginla look what happened when they snubbed Brady Tkachuk back in 2018. Family pedigree is something that shouldn’t be overlooked and Tij has a lot of the same qualities as his father.
This is the only draft that Ryan can remember where there was no debate over who would go #1?!?! Does he not remember last year's draft with Connor Bedard?
😂 next year he'll say the same thing
Or mcdavids year 😂😂😂
In my view, Montreal has to find a way to pick a scoring forward with the #5 pick. The future looks bright for the Habs, but they need scoring and they need a blue chip goaltender prospect.
The Senator need a player like Silayev. Zayne Parekh is a very good player but Ottawa already has puck moving defensemen.
Flames gotta get Iginla Jr
So Iginla is the best at 5, but he may not be the best at 9. Best before date was a long, long time ago.
Gotta feel for the player at 7th
I know it's sick and twisted but my favorite part is always watching the Sens draft picks. Like, their childhood dreams of getting drafted have finally come true, but their dreams of playing any meaningful professional hockey are destroyed all in one moment.

Go Sens Go
@@cantControlLife To becoming Arizona's next team!
Montreal will trade up with the #5 pick to 4 or 3.
Please retire mr button
Nope
Not until the button is extinct.
Habs pick is going to be weird and random as is tradition. Sens pick is irrelevant as the Sens are irrelevant as is tradition. Flames...let's be real, It's Iginla or bust.
3 players that will never win the cup unless the find their way to the USA.
original content here 🤡
and 25 USA teams would never winp a cup without canadian players
