I have never seen any of them play but by watching the scouting reports we can see strength and weakness in each potential draft pick, I am confident that this edition of the Habs management will pick the piece that they see as the best fit for the team.
Why is there no talk of sennecke’s skating. I find it odd he has good not great production, a clear lack of speed in junior and all this is overridden just by the fact he had a growth spurt late and that makes him worthy of 5th overall?
@@jred1817 look again he wins almost every puck battle he scores which is what habs need and some scouts have him at 5 your 20 is insane and habs said they want a big talented physical player only 1 in draft lindstrom if not available they do want a superstar caliber that's demidov if not they want a top notch scorer Eiserman is the best scorer in this draft everyone else have no specialities they will be top 6 forwards at best
If they want iginla eiserman or sennecke that much than trade for the 6 or 7... I mean they could very well offer matheson +++ and make it happen. I mean if you offer a haul like matheson wpg 1st cgy 2025th wich would be a lot, include beck or kapanen if you want... you could draft a solid d at 5th and then the forward they want... and clear up a spot on D at the same time.... Ottawa need a top 4 D BAD
Iginla is way over rated so yeah Hughes likely takes him to try and prove a point. I have Tij ceiling as a second line player and you don't use a #5 pick on a second line player. There are 4 forwards and 4 D all good to take and IDK if Tij is even worthy of top 12 I have him around 15+. Obviously we can't get Macklin so I'd like Lindstrom or Demidov and on D it will be rng but all top4-5 D are really good I prefer Parehk. It is a huge misconception thatdrafted players are in the learning stage. Quality players already fully understand the game by age 14 all that happens after is strength size/reach and confidence.
Best Player available. Lindstrom is giving me a lot f olli jokinen energy but without the shot or Boone Jenner energy without the hockey sense. Great players, great NHLers, but do we need a checking center? I like the idea of Zeev Buium. We need someone better than Guhle or dare I say it Lane Hutson.
Look guys this is the way mtl needs to go demidov , seneke are 1 then inginla and lidstrom ! You have high cieling with the first 2 ! Inginla has the mindset of a pro and you need to evaluate his caracter " is he a excuse type of guy " lidstrom can his skills improve and how bad does he want to win , what really drives him ! All these kids have something but which one is the proudest and wants to win ! You dont want another anderson or armia both ok but lack drive !
Why exactly does New Jersey need another offensive minded D? Who is going to actually play Defense between Matheson Luke Hughes & Hamilton Like the idea just don’t think Matheson to jersey makes any sense especially not at # 10 if they can get their hands on a Parehk
Montreal should consider trading the pick. There are probably a lot of teams that would be willing to give quite a package to get Silayev, Parekh, Dickinson, Buium, whichever one they've decided is best of that crew. Especially if it's Silayev. They can probably get a fantastic deal from a team that wants Silayev.
Draft Iginla, safest pick at #5 These draft videos are the dumbest thing out there. If Demidov is available at 5 you take him and run. If not take Iginla and call it a huge win regardless, he can play wing or centre and could be the next Captain when Suzuki is ready to hang them up If Demidov and Iginla are gone then I would consider a D
You guys shoubld explore the possibility of trading Caulfield to Utah for their 6 pick .... one for one... Utah needs an American superstar so-called... And now Montreal has two pics in the top six.... Any player in the top six of the draft this year is better than Caulfield ... Montreal gets rid of 8 million cap.. And with that money they can get a good UFA
This is a terrible take, Habs want to compete sooner then later. Trading a player that is active and young for a dart at the board that will take 2 to 3 years to get in the line up. PASS

EXACTLY
I know!
They should draft Macenna
Gorton Hughes are drafting a D and are shoping a star forward ✨️
Forward or defence Montreal should just pick the best player available at 5th.

Imo..it is sennecke ... Iginla ... Eiserman ... Buium
In this order
lindstrom if not available
demidov if not available
eiserman
Eiserman is 12-20range. Only has a shot no off puck work

If they trade mattheson to the devils for the 10th pick yes they can draft a RIGHT DEF only but if they dont trade no defence they pick sennecke

Always draft the best player available and if it's a Dman, so be it. If there is any doubt, the Habs should take a forward.

Yeaaaaaaah, no. Just no.
